Not too sweet, almost like a cross between a cornbread and a hot cake, fluffy, oh so crispy (presumably from the time spent in a scalding hot cast iron in the oven). Now I know, when I'm craving this dessert, I can head to CoCo's - in the MIDDLE of business hours! - to repeat this lovely treat.
