Wow wow wow. Short rib hash, tender and scrumptious -- who doesn't love a bread mop. But the buckwheat pancake floored me. As someone who always craves earthy and umami flavors, it hit the dang spot. Not too sweet, almost like a cross between a cornbread and a hot cake, fluffy, oh so crispy (presumably from the time spent in a scalding hot cast iron in the oven). And I haven't even gotten to the pastries yet. This is a place you come to to share everything and to wipe the plate clean.

A crispy shell housing so many layers of chewy croissant-like dough. The Raspberry Fairy is light and lovely, and I enjoyed the muffins and a cookie as well. All delicious, but I think they truly excel at pastry, with all those beautiful layers. I can hardly ever drive to Hollywood, and I'm so happy to have had a chance to stop here. This bakery is clearly among the better ones in a city with a deep pool of talent, and I'd add that morning bun to my best-breakfast list.

Also loved the little rice dumplings, curry puffs, chiffon cupcakes, and filled pancake rolls... all for a good deal too. A few other people arrived just after me, but they seemed to know it was closing. Oops! Once it dawned on me, I grabbed a couple of too tempting items and made my way forward. I was pleasantly asked how I would like to pay and I said whichever is convenient. Of course the register had been closed out, so Apple Pay was handy. I apologized for not being aware and was waved off with a smile and heartfelt 'No worries.' Later at home, the brightly colored tapioca and coconut treats were an absolute delight, but the sticky rice mango for just $10 was an absolute MUST! Now I know, when I'm craving this dessert, I can head to CoCo's - in the MIDDLE of business hours! - to repeat this lovely treat. Parking is easy and free and it's in the heart of Thai Town, so it's legit! I also am curious to see how many more tempting baked goods, hot grab-to-go snacks and desserts are offered during peak hours. Many shelves of unique(to me) eats are well displayed and prices are well marked. It feels like a neighborhood bakery and snack shop, which is exactly what it is. Very comfortable, welcoming, clean and nice. Items are made fresh to be consumed fresh. Don't purchase more than you can eat on the day. I can see where that would be a challenge in the future, but it's a challenge I'm willing to accept. Cheers! "CC"

The outdoor seating area is just the right amount of comfy, clean, green, and casual. They do have the vibes set up to feel like a nice place to read. The drinks are a bit expensive as other reviewers have noted. I had the strawberry matcha tonic which was fine, but I think this place would benefit so much from at least one really strong speciality drink or pastries. But either way if you're mostly looking for a really nice area to hang out outdoors with some coffee, this is a good place. I got lucky and got street parking pretty fast. It's mostly residential streets nearby so easy to find free parking, hard to find a free spot.

Inside has some retro VHS videos, TV and a chess board. Coffee was okay, nothing really to remember about it. I had a croissant which was overpriced and honestly very hard. Had some burn marks on the top like it was overbaked. Definitely not soft, flakey and fresh baked. I saw this place on IG and it definitely did nit live up to the alure of the post. Parking is non-existent. You have to find it on the street and it's a pretty busy residential area near the hospital.

Its flavor is certainly consistent with other forms Pandan of desserts I've had and this being my first time having it in a coffee is excellent. While my girlfriend and I were waiting for my drinks we got to read about their business owner and short but significant history. This business seems very popular and for good reason. It has creative Viet inspired drinks, some pastries, and other traditional classics. I loved the overall aesthetic. It's very tiny inside but inviting. Their staff were friendly and even were generous enough to ground some external beans for me which was a solid. I'm sold on their product, service, and can't wait to come back! Phenomenal find :)

The beans seem to be of decent quality, but the coffee lacked the depth, complexity, and bold character that I typically associate with great Vietnamese coffee. I understand that condensed milk is a defining ingredient in Vietnamese coffee, and it's something I usually enjoy. However, I found both drinks noticeably sweeter than I prefer. I don't mind sweetness, but these leaned a bit too heavily in that direction for me, which ended up masking some of the coffee's flavor. That said, the café is located in a pleasant neighborhood and has a welcoming atmosphere. It's a comfortable spot to relax, meet friends, or work. While the coffee wasn't particularly memorable for me, the overall vibe of the place is definitely a plus.

Got Get Em has become my go-to spot for getting work done, taking coffee meetings, and honestly just starting the day at this point many morning out of the week. The staff is friendly and when I go early in the morning the vibe is calm enough to focus but alive enough to feel energized. I'm over a year into being a regular here and I still haven't found a place near me thats better for what I need for the early morning work sessions. The coffee is great!. I rotate between their drip coffee (which changes regularly) and their house-made almond and macadamia milk latte, which is one of my favorite lattes Ive had in LA. That house milk blend is the move. I also love their food and their chef and kitchen staff is exceptional at that they do. Their simple bean and cheese burrito is a staple, but the egg, bean and cheese burrito with tater tots is also something I like to get from time to time. They all are served with house made salsas, that I wish I knew the recipe to. I do occasionally order the everything bagel with cream cheese and heirloom tomato, which is delicious, but $7 for half a bagel is a little steep. Overall this is a gem of a neighborhood spot that I'd recommend to absolutely anyone, whether you live in Los Feliz or just need a reliable work café, or just want a really great cup of coffee with food that actually excites you. Who it's for: early risers, remote workers, coffee connoisseurs , and anyone who appreciates a spot that becomes part of their routine.

I ordered a half "the works" bagel which is supposed to have smoked salmon. I've ordered this before, so I knew what to expect, but to my surprise they put soooo little salmon on my bagel. For $11 this is crazy, considering the heirloom tomato bagel is $7 and the only difference between the two is the salmon and some capers. I don't know if it was a one time thing but inconsistency in preparation is not a great look especially when I'm spending this much money on a half bagel. I'm posting a pic of my bagel vs the pic they have on the mobile app (I know it's not gonna be like that in real life but the difference is kinda crazy lol) the reason I come here is because I can order a half bagel, but if it's going to continue this way I'll be getting full bagels at boichick across the street instead.
