Banquet for daughter's basketball team. Staff was receptive and friendly. Owner hosted banquet which was fun. A small venue but as the name suggests, we didn't go for the games, we went for the darts!!! Obstacle course paint ball style darts!! Epic!! We reserved the venue and had a great time.

This is a new experience for us. Usually it's laser tag. But I have to say everyone at Dart'em Up cares about kids (and me) having fun. There are two levels of intensity and it's just good fun. A great indoor activity with Nerf toys, my kids blow off steam and run around having the best time. I have had staff go above and beyond with service multiple times. Highly recommend!

The BEST birthday party experience. Everything went so smoothly, from communication before to all the organization during the party. The whole place is clean and HUGE! We had plenty of room for our large party. The staff were so sweet and helpful, and they managed to keep a whole party of excited 6-7 year olds on schedule, which was impressive to say the least :) Everyone had a blast. We will definitely party here again.

Consistently a wow experience. I've been bringing my boys for years now and I can't think of time the owner hasn't stopped by and shook my hand and truly showed interest in our family. This is one of those places that you just don't see everyday. A small business that brings fun and entertainment to the whole fam. We always feel safe, and worn out when we leave!

One of the advantages of being a parent is finding out about all these cool places that you never knew existed -- places that never existed when you were a kid. One such place is Dart 'Em Up, a Nerf gun battle arena. Think: Laser tag but with nerf guns. We brought our family of four here, including our two grade school age kids, on a Tuesday (which is BOGO day). This brought our total to a reasonable $30 for about an hour's worth of fun. I was excited to see The Armory where we could each pick out a weapon, and our kids decided they were going to join forces and team up against me and my husband, so we donned our green and orange vests while engaging in a little light trash talking. The format involved an MC/deejay inside one of two large arenas, instructing the teams on which games we were playing, the rules of engagement, etc. We played capture the flag, last man standing, humans vs. zombies, and even a rousing "pick up the darts" game (a fellow parent remarked that they were stealing a beloved parenting technique encouraging us to pick up a bunch of darts before the timer ran out). My only criticism is kind of a big one: if you end up with a crappy blaster, your experience is going to be pretty miserable. Ask the person at the Armory for their recommendation and GO WITH THAT. My kids didn't listen (of course!) and instead chose based on the coolest looking blaster and it didn't work out too well for them. Some of the reviews mention that you can bring your own Nerf gun, so we may try that after the holidays. As a parent, I'm looking forward to checking out the waiting area with what appears to be a nicely stocked selection of beer and wine next time.

At Dart'em Up -- If your child is over 5 and loves nerf guns, check out Dart'em Up in Cedar Park. Found out about it this weekend and my son and I went today and had a blast and great way for the kids to let loose. Even get in on it if you want. They have a bar, TVs and arcade.

Dart'em Up is a great place for kids to have birthday parties and it is quite popular with one birthday after another. The kids had a great time with the Nerf battle and the arcade games.

Nerf dart guns DO NOT work!!! Don't bother. No concession stand. Not enough seating. Not worth the price.

Located off Anderson Mill in the corner of a strip mall is a bookshelf with a door on the right side. If you cannot figure out the entrance, there is a doorbell to ring as well. I believe it is owned by the same people who own The Mill bar right next door, which makes it feel like a cool bonus space. My friend and I sat next to a faux fireplace, where we were greeted by the only bartender working and placed our order. Once he opened the tab, it was disappointing that he never came back to check if we wanted another drink. It wasn't super busy on the Monday we went, but since he was the only one manning the bar, the bartender was always doing something, so I don't blame him fully for not checking back in with us. I ordered a drink called the Velvet Vice. It looked nothing like the picture and tasted similar to an Aviation cocktail with egg whites. I happened to really like it. It is a very relaxed space, but once the speakeasy gimmick wears off, it does not have much else going for it. It is still a cool place, but I am not sure it was worth the lengthy drive to get there. Loved the variety of room, didn't love the wait time that counted against your total time if you weren't in a room. Not sure how it would be possibly, but having your minutes tick away while you waited for the groups in front of you to finish with a room was irritating. Our family of five did have a boatload of fun though at 8, 11, 14 and 42. Lots of skills levels so it was good to be able to pick a variety of games. Note to anyone with shorter kids - maybe skip the basketball room as our 8 year old took a rebounding ball right to the face because he was the perfect height. Also, sometimes the rooms don't work. We wasted time in one room because it stopped working and we didn't know. It let us do two full rounds with literally nothing happening. They do fix them fairly quickly, but your time is gone already and you don't get it back ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ This would be great on a weekday where I assume the crowds are smaller. Would do again - we all came out sweaty and smiling.

If I lived closer I would would be at this joint two or three times a week, and in the best shape of my life. The games are all fast paced and high energy, but does it feel like a workout? Not at all, until you realize when you are so SHWEATY. It's like burst sprints mixed with body weights and maybe some yoga? I just know that I loved it in a way that I haven't loved physical activity since I was in my teens. The staff was all super friendly too. The perfect kind of friendly as well. Polite, informative, but not all fake high energy/chatty like your at a kids camp. It was nothing but good vibes. It was fairly busy when we went, which means we had to cycle through rooms pretty fast, but there are so many rooms! You can always go back for your favorites again later, and some of the ones that "looked" boring were actually the most fun for me. I was practically BEGGING them to give me a membership, but they don't do those... Yet? There was some discussion of some locations offering memberships as a trial run, and that it might become a thing nationwide. *fingers crossed* GO!
