**quiet and beautiful decor I like this place! I'm a huge cafe person; I've tried so many in Baltimore. I prefer somewhere quiet so that I can do work--and this place is perfect for that! I came on a Friday mid-morning and got a regular matcha latte. I was worried it would be too weak, but it was strong!! I got so much work done thanks to the caffeine kick. The decor is very pretty, it has this mid-century modern vibe (I think). Plush chairs, very comfortable to sit in for a long time. There is a restroom further down the hall which was also very cleanly kept. Baristas are nice! But they were out of strawberry syrup, and they said they had been out for a while. But the menu hasn't changed; I found that a bit strange. Regardless, the regular matcha was good enough on its own. Would come back to do work!

This cafe is located in Hotel Revival. I needed a quick breakfast before hitting the road after a Baltimore work trip. This was the best option available nearby. I ordered a pretty yummy vanilla lavender latte and the smoked turkey club. The cashier was really kind and patient with me. I was in a bit of a rush and it took longer than expected for the sandwich to be prepped. It seemed like there were only two people working so it made sense, but is good to keep in mind if you're in a rush. This cafe had a lot of seating available for those that wanted to stay. Some people were working on their laptops while I waited. The sandwich was pretty good and a great meal for my drive. If you need to leave straight from the hotel, this is a good pick for coffee.

Nice cafe inside the Revival Hotel. I came here for breakfast and lunch during my stay at the hotel. Highlights were: Revival Smoothie: great way to get your greens in! They use real veggies and fruits here and so refreshing on a summer day Bacon, egg and cheese with Everything bagel: my fave breakfast item on their menu. Bacon was freshly crisped, egg was fluffy and the bagel was soft, on the inside and crusty on the outside. Make sure to say yes to the spicy aioli - it is delicious. Breakfast Taco with bacon: another delicious breakfast item. It comes with potatoes and eggs. Everything was super fresh. Also make sure to get the spicy aioli! coffee: also very good. We compared it with the coffee from room, and could really taste the difference. Prices here is high compared to other breakfast places but it being attached to a hotel might be the reason. Pro tip: if you're a hotel guest, you get 10% off! Show your room key/charge to your room.

I walked over for breakfast, had some sort of bagel concoction- half the sandwich was enough for the meal. Also a good, but not very "large" large latte. Nice interior. I'll round up from around a 4.5. The food came out quickly.

For vibes, this is the spot. Very art deco, and gold and shiny and there's plants and a cool feeling. Egg sandwich was good but nothing crazy. Turkey bacon is available so that's cool and a plus

Got an iced oat latte with brown sugar syrup and an oat cappuccino and was pleasantly surprised by both. the latte was great; sweet but not overpowering, creamy, strong coffee flavor. The cappuccino was very impressive as oat milk usually difficult to steam for latte art and the barista outdid themselves. Vibe was very hotel-esque but cute furniture and comfortable environment.

Did more than just "dash" in--actually ordered and sat down! Dashery has been open two days, so let's give it some time. It's easy too miss, tucked away from the world and Charles Street eateries in the Revival Hotel (once the Peabody Hotel) with entrances/exits on Cathedral and Monument streets. It's a small but roomy enough café with cozy wood decor and plush seating, featuring a modest but satisfying selection of breakfast, lunch and caffeinated coffees and delightful teas. The coffee was a bit harsh for my tastes, but some cream and a touch of sugar rectified that! I did enjoy the curry tofu scramble and picked up the deli platter--just one of a few cool prepackaged munchie platters available along with salads, drinks and chocolate bars (I chose the crispy green dark). This café definitely has some potential as a cozy yet boisterous atmosphere from staff and customers alike. But not easy to find for a non-Baltimorean who doesn't know his or her way around.

Really impressed! I went to the Dashery Cafe today and ordered a hot oatmilk latte with cardamom syrup, which is homemade. It was excellent. It was a bit more expensive, with a latte being $6, the added flavor being $1, and the dairy alternative being $.75- altogether $8.21 with tax. However, it was a treat well worth it. It wasn't very busy and there were plenty of tables to sit at. The baristas were both very friendly! I appreciated that they have ceramic mugs if you want to enjoy your drink in the cafe. Also, they use Black Acres beans -another lovely Baltimore spot! Next time I'll have to try out the food.

Not sure how this "cafe" has good reviews. I ordered an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and a side of potatoes. This is what I received. Looks like a bite was taken out of the hard-as-a-rock stale bread and the eggs are microwaved. It is doused with some unidentifiable spicy mayo that isn't even listed on the menu, and the side of potatoes are not even cooked. The photos are before we even tried a taste. Such a waste of money. Don't waste your time, go to Dooby's down the block!

Cute little cafe in the bottom of the revival hotel. Aetheric and service on point as well as the food was pretty good for a quick cafe. Actually went here twice and got the tofu curry one day and the other day BEC (bacon/egg/cheese). The curry sauce for the tofu was really good and the egg were nice/fluffy on a brioge bun. Overall really liked the food and coffee from here- recommend

Coffee is nice, and the atmosphere is really nice too. I ordered the lavender latte at 8:45am on a Wed, pretty chill and only had like 3 other parties there. The interior was really spacious and I think it'd be a great place to work and hangout. Parking is okay, depends on the day.

I loved the selection of pastries they offered--the pandan pastry was definitely my favorite. My husband ordered the drip coffee over ice, and I got the Vietnamese iced coffee. Both coffees were excellent. The Vietnamese coffee was a bit too sweet for my taste, and it was served in a very small glass. I think it would have been even better with a little more coffee to balance the sweetness. For lunch, we ordered the kimbap and the egg bowl, and both dishes were outstanding. The only downside was that it took about 35 minutes for our food to arrive. However, the cafe was extremely busy and clearly backed up, so we didn't mind the wait too much--especially since the food was so delicious. The indoor space is quite small, but they do offer outdoor seating. I can't wait to come back and try more of their Asian-inspired pastries and dishes. What a fantastic addition to the neighborhood!

And I recently had their 5 spice latte which was a great balance of spice and sweet. Overall, I honestly would consider moving to the area just to live next to this cafe not being dramatic at all.

The bartenders were polite and cleaned our table quickly, considering the place was packed they were doing an amazing job. The shrimp po'boy was large enough to split and was comparable to a sandwich from New Orleans in quality. I was tempted by the club but the turkey isn't the style I like, otherwise I could easily see myself trying more of the menu because it's clear the cook was skilled. The rail ginger beer and rum was inexpensive and well made and their selection of beer while currently missing a few key dark beer items was not bad at all, they included some draft beer options as well outside of the standard light beers and National Bohemian. All in all I would see myself returning when I head to the area for Ottobar events to try more of their food menu, just remember to get there somewhat early before the kitchen closes at 10.

If you're talking Baltimore pit beef, Chaps Pit Beef has been a staple for years, and after coming here for over a decade, I can confidently say it still delivers every single time. Their new location, just a stone's throw from the original humble shack, is a huge upgrade. You get the same iconic food, but now with a much larger dining room that actually makes it easy to bring a group without fighting for space. It's the best of both worlds. Same old school flavor with a more comfortable setup. On my most recent visit, I stuck with my go to. A loaded hoagie absolutely packed with pit beef, corned beef, sausage, and turkey. It's massive, messy in the best way, and exactly what you want when you're craving something unapologetically Baltimore. I paired it with a large order of fries, which were piled high and perfect for sharing. Decided to switch it up a bit and try the Holy Cod fish sandwich too, and that ended up being a sleeper hit. Huge portion of crispy fried cod, topped with fresh coleslaw on a soft bun. Not something you usually go to Chaps for, but honestly worth ordering. Everything came out crazy fast, which is always impressive considering how busy they can get. Quick stop at the condiment bar is a must. Load up on the free pickles, onions, Carolina Gold mustard, and that tiger sauce. The horseradish and mayo combo just hits different on pit beef. Bottom line, Chaps might not be a hidden gem anymore, but it doesn't need to be. It still outperforms most spots in the pit beef game and continues to be one of the best sandwiches you can get in Baltimore.
