I very rarely get my nails done, but when I do, I am headed here! My gel manicure lasted an extremely long time with no chips (at least three weeks) and I only got rid of them because my nails grew out too much. I've been coming semi-religiously to DD for the last four years or so.. and I have to say.. after trying out multiple nail salons near by.. these ladies are the best of the best. Took a family member here for a treat that was a disaster. The gel nail manicure they did wasn't just terrible, they cut her cuticle so it bled & when they removed all the clumpy gel her nails were left extremely thin and short. The redo was still horrible. They apologized, but charged full priced & were upset I didn't tip. My gel nails were fine, but we were there for over two hours trying to solve the problem. What should have been fun ended up doing damage to her nails. So disappointing. They did give us coupons at the end but no way are we ever coming back. read more

This is an updated review for this place. I came here yesterday and was choosing out which color I wanted. Every time I come here I always get regular polish for a pedicure and gel for a manicure. Every time I say I want regular polish, I get pushed to get shellac. Each time I say no the nails techs start talking amongst each other and laugh maliciously and press me again to get shellac. Yesterday was by far the worst experience, I kept getting pressured then laughed at when I said no and then pressured again. They always try to up sell me and don't seem to take no for an answer. This has always been a thing here. Yesterday, since the salon was empty, I had two people working with me. One doing my pedicure and the other doing my manicure at the same time. While I had my feet in the wash bowl the nail tech doing my manicure started pointing at my feet, looked at me, then started talking to the other nail tech and started laughing. I felt incredibly uncomfortable I almost got up and left but couldn't since the service already started. Granted I should've left regardless but didn't. My level of discomfort was very high and I think one of the nail techs realized this because she kept asking me if I was ok. I sincerely wanted to leave because of how uncomfortable they made me feel. I do not suggest coming to this place. They will talk poorly about you to your face and take advantage that you don't understand the language. I see this happen with other customers all the time here, not just me. My bf surprised me with a pedicure date at dashing divas nails! I desperately needed one and it felt so good. The salon is clean and doesn't smell too strongly of acetone (but it does a little bit). I felt pressured to get the deluxe pedicure (#2) vs the regular by the employees, but it was a good idea since that one included callus removal and more massage. The pedicure was nice- I got the standard soak, gel removal, callus removal, lotion, hot towel and hot stone massage all while enjoying the massage chair. The shaping and grooming of my toenails and feet was fabulous and they still feel so soft! The hot towel was left on for awhile after it got cold, but otherwise everything felt great and I think my nails looked GREAT! Very festive for Halloween. The salon is definitely pricey. For my pedicure, nail polish removal and buying a new file I think was close to $60, so I think there are probably cheaper places! This is a convenient location though especially if you tan right next door. read more

Was really disappoint with the attitude the staff. Their communication was rude and curt. Once the pedicure was done they wanted me to walk across the shop bar foot to a sit at the drying station. I refused to walk barefoot so they gave me hand towels to shuffle across the room on but were not happy with me for asking. My niece got an acrylic set. Great experience. I got a dip manicure and the ladies there are very nice and have a lot of attention to detail. I appreciate that she never hurt my cuticles, which can happen when using the drill tool to get the old dip polish off. Everyone wears masks, there are plastic dividers so you aren't breathing all over each other and they take cards. The work is great and they have a zillion dip colors to pick from. This place not only did a bang up job on my manicure but they even do various designs with them AND I think their prices are reasonable. I went here for a gel manicure twice. The first time, the woman filed the surface of my nails down quite a bit before applying the gel, but they were fine. The second time, instead of soaking off the gel, the tech filed it off with an electric filer. She filed it so much that my nail was almost gone in places. I can see my flesh and my nails are sore. I believe she did this to save time, since soaking takes awhile. They want you in and out so they can get as many customers as possible. They do not care if they ruin your nails or hurt you. Needless to say, I'm never going back. I had to soak off my gel and let my nails grow back to completely new nails before I can even think about getting a gel manicure anywhere. This will take months. So basically, I will have ugly weak nails all summer, thanks to the laziness of the nail tech at this garbage salon. read more

I wanted to love this place because it's down the street from my apartment but they have terrible customer service. They were rude and short with me and my sister the last time we were there. I unfortunately have more negative things to say than positive. I don't know if most nail salons are doing this these days but this nail salon always charges people for the materials (nail file, nail buffer, etc.). They tell you to bring it every time after you first buy it with them. If you forget it, they charge you for a new one even if you're an established customer. I also feel like they're always pushing me to get the deluxe pedicure even when I just want the classic. If I want a regular manicure, they're always pushing me to get with gel. They're just very pushy. Also, they always cut me or hurt me when I'm getting a pedicure and my pedicures are always crooked. They don't like it if you pay with card. They prefer you pay with Venmo. They prefer the tip in cash. Last but not least, I asked if I could get a Brazilian wax and the person in charge flat out told me NO because I was "too sensitive" the last time I was there... I felt so embarrassed. I am in the search for a new nail/wax place. read more

Typically when I get my nails done at other locations they begin to lift at the cuticle after about a month but these nails have no sort of lifting at the cuticle or any sort of wear and tear! Didn't have a good experience here because the stylist I saw was upset about my request to put nail dip powder in a separate container for each customer and then throw the extra away, as is needed and recommended to be sanitary for all customers. I won't go back for this reason. I've gotten a bacterial nail infection before from unsanitary nail salon practices so these kind of cost cutting shortcuts are a big red flag. read more
