I saw the sign and tried them out for lunch. The lady behind the counter was super nice, asked me if I wanted to try a sample of anything. I said yes, I was torn between several things and wanted to try a wing and a turkey tip. I'd never had a turkey tip before, I didn't even know what part of a turkey that would be, so I looked it up (a breast cut up). I Stopped by here to get some rib tips to go. Rib tips are simply shortened sections of the spare rib bones chopped/cut into small bite sized portions. I believe one of the the owners took my order and she was very personable and gave me a sample of their turkey ribs and a wing. The turkey rib and wing was smoky, flavorful and juicy. The rib tips were cooked to perfection: tender, moist, well-seasoned and smokey. The sauce was made from scratch and complimented the ribs without overpowering them. Don't Eat The Bone BBQ is located on the Eastside at 10th & Post Road. I had a tear in my eye as this is the same place where Papa Roux and Mama Roux use to be.
