I have been here a couple times, they really need to improve their service, everything is very slow, you'll wait 15 minutes until someone even approaches your table, then they rush you to order instead of offering drinks and appetizers first, sometimes food takes a while and comes cold, like it's been seating for a while and no one brought it to your table. I wanted to eat and then go play a few games but ended up wasting all my time trying to get food, I was upset and just went home. This place has the worst service, the waitress just goes with the motion and doesn't think of the needs of the customer. the food took at least 45min to arrive.. When you finally get it you are left with disappointment. I ordered the ribs and the meat was dry not moist or fall off the bone. The ribs were also skinny portions and over sauced. As a place to play games, decent spot. But if you want to eat here? Good luck. The wait for a table was over an hour. The wait for drinks or even water after being seated was 30 minutes. It took a total of three hours to be fed and get out, and by that time, it was time to clear out with our under 21 yo kids. I ordered a bacon burger here and it was good. However I had to wait 30 minutes for it and didn't get fries as the kitchen was having an issue and got a caesar salad as a side instead. I was not offered any discount for waiting so long. I got up to leave after 25 min and told 2 more minutes which was actually 5 more minutes. I've been to DB in low 48 they were awesome so we desire to go to new one in Anchorage such bad experiences at first bartender wasn't very nice to us she said whatever you try to order better do it quick I'm so busy bartender over charged us by $4.00 and we went to restaurant order ice cream and they brought it out with nothing to eat with and even napkins very low and bad customer service. Place will be packed for now will see after a year if still bad service like this they will lose a lots of business. read more

The food was very good and the portions were more than enough that no one left hungry. The place to go to have fun and play some arcade games. Within 10 min of being here I had to flag down a team member on the floor who then had a manager there within a min cause I started playing a game but my kids took the card and went to play another game which left me unable to collect my tickets. The manager was so awesome he went to the front desk called my kids over the intercom. I then went and got my kids there own cards since they don't expire. I also went to the bar to get a Diet Coke 3.29 weird price but okay and after a while playing arcade games we tried to get some food but unfortunately the staff on the bar/restaurant side is absolutely ignorant and rude we just left and decided to go and have dinner at Chili's instead. I've been here about 10 times in the past year and it has gotten better every time. We come at about 8pm and stay until close. Love getting some drinks, hanging out, then playing some games. No kids after 10pm is pretty great. Would recommend to any new age or old school gamer. Drinks aren't to expensive either. read more

In Alaska, Dave and Buster is a fun place to go if you want to unleash your inner child! I had an amazing time! However, I recommend for people that are vegan to not eat here. The reason is because there are no vegan food. Everything is fried in the same fryer and majority of the menu is just as animal products. I recommend eating before going here to have fun and play some awesome games! read more

Came here to have a small celebrate my daughters birthday with a few friends. On the Sunday before school started I was nervous it would be crazy, but it's been great. I had only been to a D&B once before in NYC, and really enjoyed it. So, I was a little excited that one was opening in Anchorage. Both times I've gone in Anchorage, the machines' volumes were turned up so much that it's truly uncomfortable to spend any time near the games. I honestly don't know how the staff are avoiding hearing loss if they aren't wearing some sort of hearing protection. Both nights I've gone, it was pretty empty. My guess is the volume settings are more appropriate for when a lot of human bodies are breaking up the acoustics and making it quieter. I understand they want it to be a lively, exciting, and entertaining atmosphere...but, if it's so loud that you can't really even share the experience with friends/family, and it's uncomfortable to spend time there, some more discretion is warranted to appropriately manage noise levels depending on conditions. I'd like to occasionally return to D&B, but the distortingly loud game volume is enough to keep me away. read more

Ok so I'm not sure if I should say anything about the new promotion since it will be gone soon. But I can say it's not kid friendly. But that's ok. My kid isn't Dave and busters friendly. It's. It a bad thing but she might not like the food. I like a few things tho. Service has gotten better. One of the ladies who works there knows my drink order every time. All in all the food is good. The buffalo wing burger is great. It's kinda sad that they only have one kind of wings. I have never heard of a place only having one flavor. So I guess I will conclude this review and wait for my food at my reg spot. I go to certain places to get the best deals. D and b has good deals on Wednesday. Half priced games. First time at this establishment. The waitress was not equipped with a note pad to take our order. For such a busy place, I believe they are understaffed. My waitress was very polite. Took about 30 to take our order and another hour to receive our food. After we received our food a different hostess came with two beverages we had already received. We told him we didn't order them. About 5 minutes later a different waitress comes by with the same two beverages, I told her we already had them. After eating our appetizers we decided to leave. The appetizers tastes great and very presentable. Took 20 for our waitress to bring the check. Great place for entertainment, and for your family, but slow on food and service. 6 months after opening, service hasn't improved despite business slowing drastically. Pros: Even on half off Wednesday in the middle of the evening you won't need to wait very much to play any games. The drinks are good. Cons: You'll still need to wait to be sat because no one is paying attention to the host stand/restaurant area entrance. Food still takes a little longer than desired considering there's only 2 or 3 parties in the dining area at a time. I actually love going here because the games are a blast, but I'm genuinely worried they'll go out of business at this rate. It doesn't need to be this way. They need employees that are faster and more attentive. I don't expect the best food ever, but I expect not to wait 30 minutes for it after waiting 15 minutes to be seated in an empty restaurant. read more

I enjoyed DB which reminds me of arcade center that used to be on Spenard road. The difference is how you pay to play their video games. Instead of paying in quarters, you'll get a game card with credits. This is where I'm having a hard time knowing how much I spent on. Let's say I bought a $25 game card and the video games said it'll cost you 9.5 credits. How do you figure out how much it is in dollars? My coworker spent $600 worth of game cards and didn't realize how fast it went by. This is why I don't go there often. read more

Pretty horrible experience overall. We had 12 people in our party. We were sat at a table for ten and had to ask for more chairs. Only 4 silverware sets for all of us. The server, Jan, was pretty inattentive. Had we known this, none of us would have ordered on our phones and would've ordered through her so she would be forced to communicate with us. I ordered a soda and after 40 minutes of it not coming, I asked for it to be taken off. Unfortunately, since it was ordered on my phone, it would take 7-14 business days for a refund. My friends had to ask several times where their meals were. It took them over an hour for one entree and they never got their fries. We had asked for to-go boxes. It has been 45 minutes and still nothing. We have had to pull aside other servers in order for us to get our drinks and food. Overall a pretty horrible experience. Also sucked that ordering through your phone, you have to select a tip before you even know how the service was. Had we known it would be this bad, I would NOT have tipped 20%. read more

Pros: New Venue in Anchorage. It's clean, modern, and offers a lot of fun games. The card system for games and ticket collection worked really well too. Nice to be able to check your balance as well. We did have an issue with the restaurant (see below) but the Manager was very professional about it and compensated us for not only the bit of food we had but also with some free game passes. It was clear they are truly interested in building customer loyalty. mistakes are fine when there is genuine ownership behind them. My daughter and I did have a fun time on the multi-player games. great to see so many of them there. Opportunities: It's super loud, almost uncomfortably so. I couldn't hear my daughter talking to me without stopping to lean over (she's 9). I'm not sure all the games need to be turned up to that volume. Note: a recent OSHA class I attended said that if you can't hear someone speaking from an arm's length away, you should be wearing hearing protection. That is definitely the case here. Hard on customers, probably hazardous to the employees. As above, our food order never seemed to get made while several other groups go theirs. The manager said it was a "training issue" which makes sense and happens with new places. I'm sure they'll get this straightened out. plus, they were great about apologizing for it.
