This is like a grown up Putt-putt; a restaurant, bar, and arcade all in one. It's been a while since I've been back but everything seems the same. Tons of arcade games and they also have a couple of pool tables. I know they have food and game specials if you buy it together. Worst service ever. If I could give no stars I would. I really wish I would have spent my 100+ dollars elsewhere like Main Event. When we arrived we decided to eat in the restaurant first, we waited over 10 mins to be greeted. I can see the house, MANAGER, and servers discussing who was going take our table. A server finally came over informed us that he would not be taking our table but will be getting our drinks. He got our drinks and we waited another 10 plus minutes for our actual sever who never showed up. I finally stopped a server to get a manger and that when a guy walked up and apologized and informed us he would take the table. At this point I honestly did not want to waste my money at this place. If you can't even get servers to take the order than I can only image what is going on in the kitchen. Anyway, we decided to stay being that the kids have been waiting since yesterday to come to "Dave&Busters". We order our food and just like my gut instinct told me the food was not prepared well. I ordered a steak and asked for it medium but instead receive a rare cooKed steak. I mean honestly it's my fault because I shouldn't have ordered a steak for this type of place, but I was starved out and wanted something hefty. At this point the restaurant was so terrible I didn't want to spend another dime at this place after my 80 dollars went to trash in the restaurant. I think my biggest turn off was management. I noticed two managers in the time thag I was there and not one manager did a table touch. Even when my order was messed up ether just took it back like it was nothing. I honestly wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE! There are better loaf croon with better management. This entire establishment needs training. HOW CAN YOU EXPECT THE SERVERS TO WANT TO DO THEIR JOB IF MANAGEMENT DOESNT DO THEIRS!! The food is good and the games are fun, but we don't care to give them as much business anymore. We are a family of 5 and used to go all the time for dinner and games (and maybe a drink or two for mom and dad). The service used to be fast and the staff was upbeat and fun but they must have gotten a whole new management team because it's awful now. The last 4 or 5 times we have gone, we have gone to one of the booths in the game area (like we always do) and have had to wait no less than 10 minutes for someone to get our drink orders, and another 10 for the drinks to actually get there. Some of the servers seem overloaded with too many tables and others just seem like they don't care. We have had birthday parties for our kids there a few times and it was great in previous years. The rooms have been ready, two waiters have acted as party hosts and have been waiting for us to arrive and ready to help with anything we may need. When food came, the helpers would dish it out to the kids and make sure everyone had what they needed. It was great to have such wonderful service and be able to enjoy the party too! This is NOT the case anymore. I recently had my son's party here, even though I worried that the decline in service on our regular visits would translate to the party. My fiancée thought that we would have our personal party assistants like usual and it would be fine. Our party was booked for noon and when we showed up at 11:50, both party rooms were dark. We turned the lights on ourselves and found an employee to get a manager who came to go over our party contract just as our guests were starting to show up. I told him I wasn't happy that the room wasn't set up for a kid's party and he said that this was how they set up the rooms for parties. To me, it looked like it was prepared for an adult event (napkins folded into fans, candle center pieces) and it was definitely not set up like our previous parties where the plates, cups, and silverware are set, and a Dave and Buster's T-shirt for the birthday kid is laid out (we've always used a sharpie for the guests to sign it, but we never got the shirt at all this time). I think it was clear that they had completely forgotten about our party and were scrambling to get it together. We also did not have any dedicated helpers. Our waiter did the best he could, but I don't think our party was his only responsibility as we had to go looking for him several times. We had to ask for plates and silverware and when the food came, I was the one who served everyone and didn't get a chance to sit until the kids were set loose with their game cards. I expect to run around and do everything when I have a party at home, but the reason I paid $300 was for THEM to do the work. We will never have a party there again and will no longer be eating there even though the food is pretty good. The only reason we will go back is because our kids love playing the games and we have thousands of tickets saved up on our card. Luckily, in the Highlands there are plenty of places we can go eat before going for the games. We ordered an additional plate of burgers, which they comped for the trouble and I appreciated that. Oh D&B, you never cease to amaze me. Where else can I channel my inner 12 year old and lay the smack down on unsuspecting people? Came here with my staff one night after a long and exhausting day at camp. Yes, while camp life may have interfered with all that is D&B, I still was able to have a good time. The atmosphere was awesome, as was our waiter. He seemed to know all of the menu (which one should) and he even was able to offer suggestions (which is few and far between). The food was good. Best part is that you can buy a power-up card with your meal and then get your gaming on! Just don't get rid of it. You can use it again, via the magical reloading machines! I took my daughter and nephew, I bought a 29 dollar card. It ended up costing 32. The place was pretty clean and looked more like a casino then anything else. My daughter's first choice was to play the big Rock Em, Sock Em Robots but it was down, my nephew wanted to play Simpsons soccer but it was down. There were 3 other games that seemed to need work. We literally sat at the table for about 25 minutes before someone came to the table. Then once the waitress JESSICA came to the table, she acted as if we did something wrong with a funky attitude. She acted as if she was going to take our order then said "well let me go get your server". Right after she told us that she was our waitress. Another waitress had to come get us to take our orders . As the other waitress was taking our order, JESSICA came back & states to the other waitress that "Her spirit was disturbed." We did nothing wrong except wait 25 minutes for a waiter to come. The very best way to do Dave & Buster's as an adult with no children is to get there as soon as it opens Sunday morning, order a super tall beer with the game play meal deal, eat lots, order another beer, then get cracking before the kids show up and ruin all the fun. My rounds usually go skee ball, a couple of try my luck games, then I park it at the giant trivia game. This is the only game with a cocktail service button, which is great cause I'm usually ready for beer #3 by the time I get there. The trivia is fun, sometimes stupid kids will come try and play you which means you get more tickets and you will obviously stomp them with your bigger and older brain. Then I go look at all the crap I don't want to buy with my tickets (I'm saving for the blender with two built in cups, what?!). Lastly, we end the trip with some pool because by this point the kids have taken over the arcade area. It's pretty ridiculously expensive, but I genuinely like the food and they have Guinness on draft and I love feeling smarter than other people, even if they are 7. Food - Not that great and overpriced Staff - always seem to busy to help you and constantly having flag or chase someone down Parties - WAY OVER PRICED and they are extremely unorganized and slow to prepare everything. They also do not assign anyone to solely take care of the party, you get someone that is not only doing your party but also responsible for their regular order area. So you do not get individual attention that should be given when someone is spending hundreds of dollars on a party. This is a pretty fun place to go. I think of it as a chuck e cheese for adults. It's where you can go and let your inner child out. They have a lot of games and they are frequently changing and getting new ones. The food is decent but they do have good (alcoholic) drinks. Everything can be a little pricey so I recommend going on Wednesdays when they have half off games but it gets really packed. read more

Fun place to take the kids but it's loud and there aren't really comfortable places to sit while the kids run around and play games. All the seating is up on barstools which is sorta hard on your back after a few hours. It's loud in the arcade - but the bar area is much more sane. More crappy seating though. Service in the game area was good. Friendly and attentive. My iced tea was continually kept full, but it was over the top sweet. Food was just OK. I personally wouldn't eat here again given how many other great places there are within walking distance. We ordered nachos and there is nothing grosser than nachos made with cheese SAUCE rather than real cheese. I am gluten intolerant and most of these sauces have flour in them and they really ought to disclose this sort of thing upfront in the menu rather than pretending that they're made with real wholesome ingredients. Who on earth puts SAUCE on nachos? My god, this is TEXAS. You guys are right next to Mexico for god's sake. You should have figured out how to make nachos like ages ago? Do you think they use cheese SAUCE in Mexico? REALLY? We ordered cheese fries and these seemed to be made with real cheese. I could see pieces of melted cheese stuck on the side of the plate. Why our nachos weren't is beyond me. Fries were so salty I could barely eat them. What IS it about you Texans putting way too much salt on your food anyways? Blech!!! Waited at the hostess line for about ten minutes before we were told to seat ourselves. Sat ourselves, waited ten years for drinks, one of which was the wrong drink - but we didn't get to keep it so who knows where that drink went. Got our food before getting the correct drink - so we're lucky no one choked on their chicken. Also, we were without silverware and had to procure our own, along with condiments. So we met a friend for dinner and games here last night and the restaurant had tons of tables just sitting there waiting to be bused. We got seated and took 15 minutes for someone to wait on us initially. Then a guy finally noticed we had nothing and was like have yall been waited on and we're like nope. So he took our table even though it wasn't his. When my friend arrived it took him 15 minutes to bring her intial drink. Then we ordered and got our food which was very good. We went to D&B to watch football. What a BIG disappointment. We got NO service. Bartender who isn't slammed with orders this early @11:45am wouldn't wait on us. We were told they were digital ordering only at the tables. I tried to order my drink which I wanted to specialize it and there wasn't a way to do this. We had the manager come over and he too couldn't figure a way to order a drink a special way. He went to the bar only to tell us that the bartender would take care of us which wasn't going to happen. At 12:10 we left as we couldn't get a drink or any service. Last year, during COVID, we went there every Sunday and had the best service. I don't know what changed but something did. read more

We drive to the location in Dallas since we've had such horrible experiences with this location. The staff is rude, the place requires cleaning and good luck trying to get a drink while playing games. In addition to removing the Sega Horses, the games are geared more for children (winning tickets for "stuff") than the adult atmosphere for which D&B was originally intended. The few times we have eaten there, the food has been cold and lack luster. The last time we were there, we couldn't even get waited on after sitting at the bar in the dining area for more than 15 minutes. We got up, left and went somewhere else. Will we be back? We came here Thursday night at roughly 9:30 p.m. and they close at 11:00 p.m. This was my family's first time coming to a Dave & Buster's. Had a great vibe and it was very clean and a nice atmosphere. Orders have to be placed with a QR code that's on the table; maybe it was my phone but it didn't allow for very many characters to be placed in when you type how you want your food. You also have to place your drink order this way as well. We all ordered burgers, but they were pretty bland. There's not many places that I've visited where I've seen the whole family have to put salt and pepper to enjoy it. The waitress seemed nice and maybe I didn't figure it out but I didn't see a refill option. My wife had her diet coke refilled once but after that, we didn't have refills the entire time. The waitress even walked by our table several times and even stopped to talk to my 6 year old son a couple times. I'm usually a very generous tipper, usually tipping more than 20%, and more times than not even more but this time I didn't even want to leave a tip. They literally dragged us out of the building because we weren't 18 and had us wait outside under the rain, while they said that we couldn't stay inside because of people drinking and our "safety" yet we waited outside where it was more dangerous. My experience started off wrong. We ordered water NO lemon, and stressed that we wanted no lemon. The waitress brought lemon. Usually, this predicts my experience at a restaurant, and tonight was no exception. Waitress was friendly, for the most part (despite the eye rolling). She plays around too much, though. The drinks (snow cones) barely had liquor in them. However, the mango strawberry ? Was flavorful. A friend of mine had one of those and a strawberry Margarita, and they were watered down. Mistakenly, I ordered the chicken and shrimp pasta without asking them to omit the mushrooms. It still wasn't as presentable as I wished a pasta would be, despite the mushroom. The noodles in the pasta were elbow noodles, like the ones in the ultimate macaroni (pictured on the menu). Another entree at our table was the philly cheesesteak. Upon ordering, the waitress asked us if we wanted mushroom. She said no. When the food came out, the mushrooms were on the sandwich. The food was dry and bland. Two parmesan pastas, were also dry, despite the extra sauce ordered. The pastas were also bland, and the chicken undercooked on one side. I decided not to order anything else. The kitchen was about to close, anyway. The manager came and spoke with us. We went around the table telling our disappointments. He said he would take our food off. Tickets FINALLY come, and I was still charged for the extra sauce. We had to get that removed. One ticket still had an entrée on it, and it took forever to get the mistakes to be fixed. The whole ticket ordeal took 20-30 minutes. I will not be back at this location anytime soon. One thing I can say is that management did handle the situation as needed (It took quite some time) , and the waitress didn't have the nastiest attitude she could have had. However, she rolled her eyes several times. I've been a waitress before. Take a deep breath in the kitchen, keep a smile on your face, and deal with these tables ! But everything is fine now. In town with friends for a concert, and stopped in here for dinner tonight. We had the WORST service ever, from beginning to end. We sat in the bar, our server couldn't have had more than 2-3 tables, and there was very little she got right. I got the wrong drink, my friends had to repeatedly ask for drink garnishes, wrong beers. One friend never got her side item, and our server Eruyana never even noticed that she forgot until dinner was finished. Not once did she clear away a single dish, but she was very quick to ask how checks were to be split...while we were still eating dinner. She did not split the checks correctly, and then made sure she she came back to pick up the credit card receipts while we were still sitting...while every one of our used plates is still sitting in the middle of the table, including apps. In the meantime, the hostess was texting and eating at the hostess stand, and the restroom had toilets that were overflowing with waste and clogged. We went to several different places in Dallas this weekend and had phenomenal service, and I definitely did not have high expectations of D&Bs, but our server said "challenge accepted". This location does NOT meet anyone's expectations. The service was horrible beginning with the check in process with Brittany (name on badge Princess B) her attitude was nasty. The open seating area was filthy. My family and I helped the busboy clean the area and mop the floor. Another family stated they were there an 1hr 1/2 before receiving drinks and was currently waiting on there ticket to check out which took another 1hr 1/2. My husband ask to speak with a manager but that did not change our experience at all. I would have left like another couple did but we were celebrating our daughter's birthday. I am so disappointed and will not return to this location. According to the staff, this location is under staffed and the staff that is there does not come in on time which put everyone else behind. I can not express my disappointment enough. Especially since I spent well over $300 :-( read more
