Well, had a reservation at 6pm for 12 people for a Birthday. Ended up not being seated (after being promised were next or them saying they can't give us an estimate at all) 89 minutes later. With a toddler who has hungry, pregnant lady and diabetic in the group. This was extremely disappointing. They didn't even offer a percentage off. Then after finally being seated, was told it'd be at least another half our for appetizers. At that point, there wasn't even an apology from the manager...won't be going back to this location. And since I'm on the events committee at my company, I won't be recommending our offsites/team building come back here again. read more

The food here is NOT worth spending any money on at all. I left feeling totally sick after eating the linguini meatballs. The cookies and ice cream desert was stale and just plain bad. It's a chain, so all D&B locations are probably identical. I've only been to this one and the one in St. Charles, MO, and I can't tell the difference. It's a sports bar and an arcade all in one. There are also pool tables, and shuffleboard tables, and private rooms you can reserve. As the best man, it was my solemn duty to plan the bachelor party, and I scheduled part of that epic night at D&B, reserving an area with a couple of pool tables for my guys. But mainly the reason to go to D&B is to have reliably good American food and a gaming experience. The best deal is to get the meal-card combos. You get a "points" card that you can swipe at the games, and you can "recharge" the points on your card by paying at a booth. Eat your burger, then migrate over to the bar, order up some libations, and go mingle among the game floor. There are lots of different arcade games to choose from, but there are also many prize-based games that give you tickets to save up and redeem at the prize booth. I find that to be kind of a waste of money, as it can take forever to save up to buy something really worthwhile, but it's still a fun novelty to do once in a while. Also, you don't have to spend all your winnings; you can save them on your card for your next visit. It's got that saturated atmosphere of lots of noisy games and neon lighting in an otherwise dark arena. It's hard to describe the experience, but I like the sensory overload of this place as much as anything else. Really, D&B is just a great change of pace. When you need something different from the usual routine, when you're feeling a bit more festive, I urge you to check out D&B, with two caveats: it's best to bring a few friends instead of flying solo, and it's best to go when you have a lot of loose cash to burn. Wish I could leave no stars but the service is awful. As if you don't spend an arm and a leg to play games already the bar is horrible. Been here twice and waited forever to get a drink for overpriced drinks. Would rather go to top golf for the price we paid. Took forever to even get someone to come to our table to even take our drink order and when she finally did took forever for the server to bring our drinks to the table. We finally were able to place our order which took forever to be brought to the table and when it did reach our table it was all cold. Finally spoke to a manager and when we started to tell him what was wrong he said that we had ate or food so what was he suppose to do about it being cold while after having to wait so long yes we did eat it cause we were hungry. So the food is completely overpriced and not worth it. We spent over $200 on food and cards and another 150$ on game cards only to have our Truck broken into and what do you know! We are parked in the one spot apparently targeted by thieves and has no cameras pointed in the direction of our vehicle. Nobody apologized nobody offered us any kind of compensation for the $350+ we just spent only to have our Kenwood radio, my micheal kors with a matching wallet my husband got me for our 2nd anniversary with my kids and my ss# inside a galaxy s7 which has been bricked but the bag was special yes I shouldn't have left it but I didn't want to carry it and just FYI our tint makes it impossible to see inside our raised f250 super duty!!! My husband and I went there with our 2 sons. This place is ridiculously expensive. I do not like how they use the game card to play. The idea of the card is great however one game may be 6.8 another 8.4 to play. Seems things would be easier if it were just to be 6 or 8. That aside, my biggest complaint is lack of safety measure for toddlers. I realize this is more geared towards older kids/adults. However, having power strips/cords laying out in the open is a bit ridiculous. They have outlets with no covers on them. They can buy a box of outlet covers at the store for next to nothing. It's sad a family cannot enjoy an outing at this place with little ones. We did not eat the food, just played games. read more

It's been a while since my kids and I have been to a Dave n Buster's, though we used to go to locations in other states all the time. We didn't have very high expectations, but the bartender and managers were very friendly, accommodating and happy to address any concerns we had. Love this place been coming here for almost a decade. One of the last arcades out there and this one is great. Games are awesome and the employees are always helpful and nice. The food and service is good. Bathrooms are huge and always clean. Dave and busters usually has more adults than kids. If you're going to advertise for and show pay-per-view UFC fights, the main tv in the bar should be on that station. We showed up 2 hrs before the pay-per-view fights only to find a football game on the main bar screen. The bartender switched it at our request only to be told to turn the game back on. We spoke to 2 managers who told us that a table below the bar was here for the game. Setting aside tv's and seating patrons accordingly would be a better option than monopolizing a MAIN tv where 16 people who were here to watch ADVERTISED UFC fights could only see a game 6 people were not really paying attention to. LATE NIGHT HAPPY HOUR IS BACK!!!! The angry letter about its discontinuance I have been meaning to write for about 3 years now is no longer one of the many to-do's holding me down, making my chest and shoulder feel heavier than a Million Dollar Margarita (which are quite large and cost a mere $4.50 during half price late night happy hour. Booo..YAH. And by that I meant the margarita, not my..yeah.) I hadn't been here in literally 3 years or so (since I heard they discontinued their late night happy hour, whenever that was) so my memories of it were, as expected, a little bit, well...off. I think it's because when I used to come here, I would get /hammered/ during late night happy hour and spending hundreds of dollars losing at SkiBall and Gone Fishin and Jackpot...so everything just seemed better back then. But I mean, let's be REAL...If you want to grub down on a burger that tastes like ecstasy in your mouth (figuratively speaking, of course...I hear those MDMA chemicals taste NOTHING like delicious cheeseburgers), you're not comin here. You're going to Phil's Ice House (get the 78704 and sweet potato fries..#holy @*$%ing delicious @*$%ballsss!!!), Upper Decks, P. Terry's for a quick fix, Your Momma's Burger Joint, etc...You don't go to D&B for that. You come here to grab some half-priced tasty signature cocktails, and get your game on, and maybe chow down on some pretty tasty barburgers and buffalo wings. And maaaaaaaybe win your girlfriend that 5 billion ticket, over-sized, plush stuffed banana or Sponge Bob guy you know she wants to put in your powder room as decoration to entertain your guests (although after being greeted by such a decoration, they may not return. Depends on how your friends roll.) Anyway, the chicken club sandwich was yummy, but not out of this world. The fries were good, but nothing to write home about. And the spinach artichoke dip was just as rich, creamy, cheesy, and fattening as you would expect. Good but not mind-blowing. The Million Dollar Margarita's were a great value during happy hour and tasted pretty good. The Oatmeal Cookie shooter was pretty good, too, although a bit to cinnamon-y for my taste. The signature,fancy, fruity concoctions are where it's at, once your done eating and ready to get a little cuhraaaaazay on some Simpson's Pinball...Try the Walk the Plank or the D&B Long Island Iced Tea. So, to summarize, come here and grub a little on some decent bar food, then get your drink and your game on...but, really, come here for the late night half priced drinks and the games. It's a super fun experience that brings out that plastered-to-the-point-of-all-recognition-but-totally-fired-up-because-you-just-won-400-tickets-on-your-27th-try-at-the-jackpot-game little playful kid in all of us. Just make sure you take your big-kid wallet. Half-price drinks won't make up for the 100s of dollars you spend trying to win that god damned Whell of Fortune game. Waitress was barely around and no one on this side was very friendly at all nor did anyone seem to care to help. It's a scam. But it's a FUN scam. The kind that makes me think maybe me and Michael Scott would be friends in real life. OBVIOUSLY, I'm not here for the food. We came, played a bunch of games, I actually enjoyed myself, and I felt like a total badass for winning a jackpot on some wheel spinning game on my second try. We played for a while, and then took a break to go to the bar and get a drink. Some guy LITERALLY swoops in right next to me and steals what was soon to be my boyfriend's bar stool before he had a chance to sit down. I mean mugged the thief a bit, and then realizing the bar was completely full, we sat at a table close to the bar. It took a million years for someone to acknowledge us. We ordered drinks. We then wait TWO million years to get our drinks. I made an exception to my whiskey sour to get some girly drink (which I never do), and he got a D&B Tea, which is a long island iced tea. When they finally arrived, I was disappointed cause mine was sticky sweet and his was delicious. Luckily, we ordered during late night happy hour (9-11) so the drinks were definitely a fair price. We were actually considering getting something to eat, but seeing how long the wait was for drinks alone, we decided not to. Sorry I can't throw in my two cents for that. I drank my drink unreasonably fast so I could get a D&B tea as well, and we went back for more games. We looked at the prizes and decided to come back another time and try to get a Family Guy Monopoly game. It's dumb. The whole concept. But it's fun. And after beating my boyfriend at pacman, I'm not so scared of north Austin anymore. We probably won't be here for a couple of months, and we're both okay with that. This place is pretty consistent as far as their service and food. Perhaps not a 5 star cafe or the best drinks, but over all you know what you can expect each time you come into this place. I have never had a horrible dish or a really bad drink. But do you reall need all that? I actually had chesse sticks, 3 drinks and a 25 dollar charge card for the games and my total was 65 something with tip. Yeah, I know crazy! Can you imagine if you ate a full meal? Food was slow! We sat at 10pm ordering nachos, chicken sandwich and fried shrimp. Our nachos came at 1030 and the food at 1040. Now that is rediculous. To top it off the food wasn't good.
