I ordered a whiskey and coke but it honestly tasted like water with a little bit of sweetness. It felt like all the ice melted before they served it, so the drink was already watered down. We had a 6:45pm reservation and everything that followed was a disaster. It took 15 minutes to get waters, and 35 minutes to get our first alcoholic drink--after being told they were out of three whiskeys we tried to order. When a drink finally arrived, it was made wrong and came with a cherry and garnish we didn't ask for. We were dining with our 5-year-old daughter and asked for her food to come out early. They told us it all had to come out together--but after waiting over an hour and three minutes, they suddenly could bring hers separately. The rest of our meals didn't arrive for another 30 minutes after that. At this point, we had been seated for nearly two full hours. It only got worse: * My wife's order was wrong * No pepper was brought after asking * No drink refills were ever offered * No manager ever came to the table * No apology. No discount. Nothing. We were supposed to get a $35 game card included with the food package, but instead of just handing it to us, they started asking a million questions about it at the end of the night--after two hours of frustration. I was so fed up I said forget the $35, paid the full tab, and walked out. Every single part of the experience was a mess, and not one employee stepped up to take ownership. It was unprofessional, exhausting, and completely unacceptable. Now... the burger: with a garlic aoli so pungent it'll have you feeling like you're driving through Gilroy California, the bacon burger (which arrived to the table without sauces OR bacon) was unedible. The aoli was so horrible. I almost wish I'd just eaten the plain beef patty with barely melted American cheese between two buns, as it originally arrived. Now for my fiancé's salad: the lettuce was so heavily dressed, you could see dressing dripping off of every attempted bite. So my husband and I wanted a night out. He said D& B because he wanted the dangerous waters drink. (Pictured) although we were disappointed the manager did apologize to us and took off my husbands meal off the bill because it came wrong. He ordered the Chicken Avocado club... lol can you guess what was wrong with it in the pictures? Lol there was NO Avocado! Lol so the manager offered to take it off because that was the whole point of it. So we accepted since we didn't want to wait another hour for food... lol I got the chicken tenders and paid extra for the fries... so when they brought us our food, they didn't bring my fries... so I reminded the waiter & waitress... and it took another 30 minutes Just to get my fries... we're we're already done... Plus the menu has seriously downgraded... meaning there isn't a lot of options to choose from anymore... I am only giving this place 4 stars because the manager did what he could to try and fix the situation... but everything else wasn't great at all. The management at Dave & Buster's was absolutely terrible and the main reason for how bad this visit was. Managers were nowhere to be found when issues came up, and when they did appear, they were rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. It was clear the staff had no direction--tables were dirty, orders were mixed up, and employees looked lost. The entire place felt unorganized and poorly run, like no one was actually in charge. It's frustrating to see such a fun place ruined by lazy, unprofessional management that clearly doesn't care about customers or their team. It's been about 3 years since I last reviewed Dave and Busters so it's time for another review! The place is always pretty packed on the weekends, but the line keeps moving. Came in on Friday night for a work get together and had a blast. All the workers were super cool and helpful! I've always wanted to try the virtual reality and ride and finally did. It was super fun and worth the $6 charge. The kid working at that station was really engaged and awesome! I didn't have to wait to get a drink and the bartender was on top of it! Really awesome night and great experience! Came back on Monday afternoon when I happened to be at the mall with my husband. Told him we had to try the virtual reality ride, so we stopped in. Unfortunately, we waited about 5 minutes at the desk to try and purchase an item that was unavailable on the kiosk and no one came. Another family walked in behind us, so I ran over and found someone walking by in a uniform. He was super apologetic and ran (literally ran) right over and helped both of our groups. He may have been a manager and if not, he should be because he really was awesome! I could tell I caught him on his way to do something else, but he literally dropped everything to help us out. He was super upbeat and really hustled to get us taken care of since he knew we waited! Fast forward a bit. One of the games broke. We went to the desk and there was a really friendly girl there who called someone over to help us. The guy she called arrived quickly to the game where we were and fixed it. He then went and recharged our card and brought it back to us. After that l, he followed us to the virtual reality and got us going there. The service recovery today was awesome! Let's talk about incompetent staff and staff who just couldn't care. I mean yes, we all work to get a paycheck. But do your job for what you are being paid. The lady in the front was too friendly and had long in-depth unnecessary conversations with each customer while paying no regard to the line that was forming outside the door. My credit card was double charged $104 for the cards we purchased. At the end, we had 7000 tickets to get prizes for and my daughter transferred all four cards onto one card through her phone because that's a service that they offer. We stood in line to pay for our prizes and the card was not active for some reason even though it clearly showed the 7000 tickets. The guy refused to help us and he insisted we go stand back to the extremely long line at the front desk to get it reactivated. That was an hour of our lives wasted. Came back to check out with the activated card and the guy was standing at the back of the desk on his phone and it took us 10 minutes to get his attention before he would look up. read more

We had a huge party. The place was busy. Jackie noticed we haven't even had our drinks ordered and quickly took our order. I love their chicken strips. I ordered that with a side salad perfect combination. My son had the ballpark pretzel bites and didn't care for it. Others had their chicken Caesar salad Buffalo wings. Everyone was satisfied with their orders. Jackie provided great customer service. He had several huge parties but dealt with it no problem. My brother-in-law's birthday was yesterday (Wednesday 2/1) and he chose Dave & Buster's as the place he wanted to celebrate. We arrived right around 6:30pm and were seated straight away in a booth for our party of 5 adults and a toddler. Betty was our server, and she let us know she was in training and honestly, she was the best part of the night. She was friendly, attentive and visited our table frequently so we were never without food or drinks. First impressions of the space, however, were not so great. The table we were seated at was visibly filthy with greasy fingerprints and smudges all over its lime green surface. Admittedly D&B's is NOT exactly a desirable place for someone like me who is a germaphobe - it's the adult version of Chuck-E-Cheese, a place I avoided even as a kid. But in an environment where food is being served (and for a pretty penny, mind you) I think the standard of cleanliness needs to be vastly improved here. My mother-in-law was served her wine in a dirty glass and had to ask for another, and cutlery wasn't provided with the serving plates already on the table. For my beverage, I ordered a gin and tonic with lime, but delivered to me was a vodka soda that had a mildly fruity aftertaste like when you dispense water from the soda fountain, but there's a hint of orange soda flavor from the faucet next to it. I let Betty know the drink was wrong, and she quickly requested a replacement and this time it arrived with the correct spirit, but still had a weird taste and definitely wasn't tonic water, likely soda again. I bit the bullet, not wanting to bother her again. When she came around later to refill drinks, I ordered the house spin on a Long Island, which was sickly sweet and not worth it at all. It's clear the bartenders are incapable of putting a basic drink together, so I definitely won't be coming here for anything other than draft beer in the future. 1/5 stars. We ordered the HUGE soft pretzel ($14.50) for the table and the crispy cauliflower ($11.75). Both were yummy. For mains, of the 6 people at our table, 3 of us ordered the chimichurri bowl (which isn't really a "bowl" at all, but rather a large shallow plate/bowl with the ingredients sectioned out instead of layered or mixed together - $15.50 w/ no protein. My MIL added salmon to hers for $7.50 more) and I found it to be pretty basic and boring but overall fairly tasty. Our toddler had the kids pepperoni pizza ($9.75) - it doesn't come with any vegetables or sides, which is a bummer. My brother-in-law had the Beastmode bacon burger ($17.25) and demolished it so I think he was happy. My husband had the Southern Cobb salad ($16.95); no complaints there, either. Food is about a 2.5/5 stars. We weren't aware that Wednesdays are half-priced games which was a pleasant surprise. We purchased a game card and were able to play a ton of games and had plenty of credits left, so we'll be back at least one other time for game play. I like that you can carry your drinks around with you through the game room so it feels a little like Vegas. A few games were being sanitized between uses - if only they could designate a small team to be consistently cleaning the games, everything probably wouldn't feel so damn sticky. Overall for kids, teens and young adults this place is pretty cool, but if I didn't have game credits to use up, I wouldn't be rushing back anytime soon. read more

We came here for my son's 5th birthday. We played first before sitting down to eat. The games were great, but that was the extent of it. The staff seemed tired and overwhelmed, definitely not friendly. We had issues with a game not working and no one in sight to help. You know what was weird? Not a bottle of hand sanitizer in the entire restaurant. Tons of people in a crowd, no one walking around sanitizing anything. Perhaps I'm being overly cautious, as we are over a year into this pandemic, but aside of masks, nothing was done in terms of keeping people safe. We had our own hand sanitizer and made sure we kept our distance while on the game floor. There were signs of no eating or drinking while on the game floor but no one was adhering to it and no one was enforcing it. When we decided to grab a bite to eat, we waited over 10 mins to be greeted by a hostess. The dining room was still somewhat empty at 5 pm on a Wednesday. There were about three tables occupied in the main dining area. There was a large party before us and 4 hostesses were trying to figure out where to seat the party. 4! One trying to enter something in the computer and the other three standing there ignoring the growing line of people waiting to be seated. Eventually they refer to a paper sketch of the dining area. Still nobody acknowledges the customers waiting in line. Maybe lack of training? When we were seated, we were seated right next to another occupied table. Every other guest seemed to be seated spaced out. We changed tables and ordered our food via their website. Our server didn't check back to see if we needed refills or followed up with us. The food was mediocre at best. Kids meals were limited, no veggies offered on the side. The buffalo wings were soggy, which was unpleasant. Biting into soft fatty pieces of chicken skin is not appetizing at all. The Philly cheesesteak French dip sandwich had good flavor but lacked beef. The sandwich was all bread. The side of green beans were over cooked and the portion didn't match the picture. Overall, we were disappointed. I'm not one to waste food, but I was happy to leave the leftovers. If we ever decide to come back, we'll make sure we eat somewhere else before we come play. read more

My sons love coming here for their games. They couldn't care less about the food but they can stay for hours playing with the arcade games. We held their birthday party here last weekend and it went flawlessly. We opted to book a shared space (6 tables put together, with seating for 20 people). The Epic party package was reasonably priced. The kids had just enough credits to play for about an hour. The food was typical bar food: simple and nothing extraordinary. We don't eat here a lot, but we did this visit. For me, the food was very average, nothing special about anything we ate. We went on a Wednesday for 1/2 price games. Just as we finished dinner, the power went out for 2 seconds. It took 10-15 minutes for everything to reboot, even the games. We had to find the server to pay our bill when it was ready because I wasn't going to sit there for another 15 minutes. No big deal, stuff happens. The place is clean and their $5 happy hour Long Island Iced Tea was pretty strong. No Complaints. The games were all 1/2 price and we played for an hour or so... This reminds me that D&B games are SUPER expensive most of the time. We rarely go on Wednesdays because it's usually a lot busier. It wasn't too bad this time.
