My son (8 y.o.) told me he had a lot of fun, but the food service sucks. Now this is coming from a kid. It was incredibly cold (we zipped up and put on our hoods, hands tucked in pockets), our food of chicken fingers and appetizer only, took way too long for my liking, the server never returned to our table to ask if we needed refills or if everything was ok. Our tactic? Sit our faces in our hands, look at the ceiling and appear to be bored/ blown as hell. it worked. The waiter came. Food was ok... just like the appetizer food sold in boxes at the grocery store. *sigh* Lastly, the busboys continued to pull a tall cart of trash and mess from tables in the aisle and by our table! They kept rolling by and leaving the cart there sitting.Horrific! My sister was disgusted by it and was losing her appetite. oh and -1 star... gratuity is added (16%)! You have to ask for the manager to change it. I would have asked for the manager to change it, but the overall dining experience was terrible and I didn't have the patience that day.... i saved it for YELP ;) read more

Tonight was our first trip to a Dave & Busters. We did the whole trip, with dinner and gaming. Dinner was pretty expensive to be honest. For what you get it's not worth the cost. I personally ordered a side salad which was not very fresh or tasty. The Nachos on the appetizer I highly recommend. They were very good!! Our waiter was not very good at all. He was very friendly but kept forgetting to refill our drinks. It took him an hour to even take our dinner order after we received our appetizers. He said he just simply forgot. The game play area was surprisingly almost all kids. That was a disappointment since I thought you had to at least be accompanied by an adult to be in the game area. I was hoping for more of an adult (or young adult) atmosphere. But there were kids everywhere!! I would probably be willing to try Dave & Buster's again, but if I had the same experience I would not return to be honest. read more

This was my first time here. I just wanted to celebrate Memorial Day with my friend and bowl and get some drinks...it was slow business wise and customers. We had two issues with our bowling lane so they moved us over to the lane over. We got one game through and had the same issues. So every time we had an issue we tried to find a server. We couldn't! So my friend went to get a manager and the server came finally after 47 minutes of us being there. I told her we're no longer interested in eating here. So my friend came with the manager and I told him I was ready to leave and so was he. Moral is the manager was rude, the server didn't care, no one cared... It's not my fault you have to work on Memorial Day. So since you are working make the best of it. read more

D&B is really a fun place for the kid in all! They have a fair collection of both video games and arcade games. When you first walk into this be u, to your left is a large sports bar. Their food was "okay" I wouldn't say it's the best but it's also not the worse. The staff seemed friendly and the restaurant is very spacious for all size groups. Straight ahead is where you check in to purchase tokens. When you walk into the arcade area, you've got primarily video games towards the front, followed by a bar in the middle and arcade games towards the end. There is an enter acne to the mall all the way at the end of the building. They have a new monopoly game which is a lot of fun and their wheel of fortune was cool too however, neither of those games give you a lot of tickets. There is 1 game in particular right outside of the shop that gives you up to 1,000 tickets at once! Personally, I haven't spent any of my points. I keep it all on my card and their new systems automatically add the points to your card instead of printing out tickets. I'm giving them 3 stars only because I feel they're a bit expensive and they don't have the largest selection but it's okay. I like going in here once in a while for a childish game until the adult in me kicks in and gets ready for the adult casino! Hope you all have fun :) read more

I would not even give D&B a one star if I didn't have to. The food was beyond horrible. The service was great our waiter was friendly. I would have complained about my meal but there was no point. We would just receive the same nasty food again with a extra topping aka spit on it. We were really hungry as well so we just wanted to eat. No point of look cheap either right and asking for a free meal? Save your money go across to TGIF and get one of there 3 or 4 course deals. It's so much better then D&B. Or even better go to the olive garden. The olive garden has really good service and better food. First off my boyfriend ordered cajun shrimp alfredo. It lacked flavor no flavor at all. It was extremely watery the sauce was not creamy at all. It seemed like the just forget to drain the pasta fully and dumped it right in. He asked for some extra cheese hoping to flavor it some but it didn't work out. I ordered Island grilled trifecta "individual skewers of honey-teriyaki glazed sirloin steak, seasoned chicken breast and tender shrimp, all grilled to perfection and served on a bed of spicy rice medley." "Served with pineapple pico de gallo, Teriyaki BBQ sauce, and a mango citrus sauce for dipping." Teriyaki BBQ saved the day it was the only thing on the plate that was GOOD. I asked the server how is the steak skewer going to be cooked? He said "medium". When I got it the steak it was beyond well done. I felt like I was chewing on beef jerky. The chicken was a chicken on a skewer with melted cheese on top so much for seasoning. It was alright. The rice was cold tasted like rice out of a box. I had no idea what to put the pico de gallo on so I just threw it in my rice. Shrimp tasted like the ocean. It had the fishy smell to it. I was disappointed and hungry. Was not worth the eat and play COMBO. Games were super expensive to play. I think we are better off coming on 1/2 days for games and just order drinks during there happy hour. NO FOOD! GROSS! I had drinks last time at D&B in rockville I can say that location actually had decent drinks. But had servers that lacked education. I will rewrite a yelp review for D&B in rockville another time. First off, food service was terrible (In my best Charles Barkley, took 20 minutes to get a beer, and 20 minutes to have my order corrected. The only thing that saved the night was that I was with good friends. Outside of that the night was a wash.... Games are old for the most part, wheres the new cool games??? Not impressed and on top of that, I got a D&B card I probably will never use.....I would rather shop with my wife then have to eat there and there arent many games for me!! read more

Service was terrible, as expected due to all the reviews here (we really just wanted to play games but decided to stop in to eat first). When we sat down, my boyfriend opened up his napkin and a tiny roach came running out and sat in the middle of the table. We told our waitress as she approached the table, looked at it and left it there saying she was going to get the manager. The manager came to the table, looked at, and agreed that it was gross. He then proceeded to grab the roach with his bare fingers until he stopped halfway and actually thought about how disgustingly unsanitary this was, and grabbed my boyfriends napkin to pick it up. He said "sorry about that" and walked away. Completely unprofessional and left me and my group utterly unsatisfied for the rest of the dinner. The food took forever to come out and waitress was inattentive. It seems like the "convenient" automatic gratuity added on to every check has gotten their wait staff performing halfass service to their customers. This is the best arcade in the area I always have a great time going there. The place is busy on the weekends but if you go during the week is usually empty and more you'll have more available games to play. read more

My son and I had a wonderful time playing games together as we were celebrating my birthday. Around 7pm we decided to get something to eat. We waited near the bar area for a clean table/booth. An area was cleaned up and the waiter took our drink order.. After returning with our drinks we were waiting for him to come back to take our food order when a "roach" started crawling across our table from behind the menus. My son screamed and we left. We decided to go to the main dining room. After being seated, it took 10 minutes before anyone came over to our table. Once the young lady came over took our drink order and came back, we were ready to order. She said she would be right back. I looked over near the bar area and she was over there texting on her phone. Needless to say, our dining experience was greatly disappointing. I have been to this location a few times before and I normally enjoy it. There is a tendency for this location to be over runned with tons of kids. I have noticed some upgrades to the equipment since last time I was there along with more games that were working properly. Also when I was there last night the prize selection was horrible and I am not sure completely what happened. I know that D&B got bought by another company so maybe that is why??? Anyway, I normally do not eat here but do get some drinks. The bartender last night could go either way on providing really fast service and getting drinks made properly. Last night I had a newbie bartender and he would either do really well with getting our drinks to us and then the next time we come back and he would would blow us off. I came here on Saturday for my little sister's sweet 16 birthday party and I called 2 weeks in advanced to reserve a spot for a party of 15 they said they don't accept reservations and recommended us to come early for the eat and play combo. Couple days before the event, I decided to try my luck and call to make a 3:30p reservation again BINGO! We arrived at 3:10-3:15 and was promptly seated at our reservation time at 3:30. The service was a little slow and it made the girls a little antsy. Our waiter was taking care of 3 other large parties and his attention was always elsewhere. He finally came buy after being seated for 30-35 minutes and took our drink and food orders together. Food came quickly (thank goodness!). Well what can I say?? We started off by eating dinner. Overly priced menu for your standard diner food. If you are smart you will eat before you go. Our appetizer came out cold and they tried to serve us someone else's food. We got the slider variety for the entree since everything else was so expensive for what it was. The burger sliders confused me. Not sure I get why they would put a pickle and a cherry tomato on top of the bun. Maybe I'm missing something. We also got the buffalo chicken sliders which were your standard boring bar food but 3x the price. I ordered a shake and it was the smallest shake I have ever seen. Three sips and it was gone. The guys ordered beer and really how can you mess up a bottle of beer? After dinner was finished my fiancé had to find the waiter in order to pay our bill. The bill had suggested amount to tip in it. Being in the tipping industry myself I'm not sure how I feel about that. I almost feel like it hinders from their money making ability. Finally we entered the gaming area. I've been to many Dave and busters and this must be the smallest one I've ever been to. A lot of the games were "temporarily unavailable" but to our surprise Wednesday is half off game price all day! But also to my surprise they allow children into this establishment. Many moons ago when I first came to one in another state children weren't welcome. Now I have children and have no problem with children but I believe that a place should follow one set of standards. This place allows children up until a certain time and then it's adults only. The bathrooms were disgusting to say the least. Their prize room was only worth an adults time if they had 100k in tickets. Tonight i made 3.4k. So just imagine the money you would have to spend!! In all honesty save your money and go to six flags you'll probably spend less and have a way better time! read more

The service was very slow, the lady worked by herself and the food and drink lawd it was awful! We got the shrimp scampi Pizza it was tasteless, the Truffle fries over cooked the wings came out cold the chicken tenders were hard as a brick the pretzel hot dog was ok. The alcoholic beverages came out as fruit punch we got four of them the Long Island Iced Tea the Caribbean two of those the Henny strawberry Nirvana Andy Hennessy margarita. Okay for what it is, my kids had a great time, but, despite the signs saying they were taking Covid precautions, nobody here, including employees, wore masks, and every single hand sanitizer bottle around the place was completely empty. The bathrooms were the most revolting, dirty ones I've seen in a long time. Also, the employees don't allow strollers in the prize store, which I get, but makes it impossible for families with multiple small children to manoeuvre around. Went there today to finish watching Bills and Dolphins, ordered a beer and wings - had game on until 4:00 then it automatically switched to Fox sports - Vikings pregame. Came here for a birthday party that was set up in the VIP Room. The people who catered to our party were very pleasant and prompt with whatever requests the host had. The VIP room comes with 3 pool tables and 3 TVs that are mounted on the walls. This was very good for our group so that we could have a private affair and not be bothered with the loud noise outside. The food is your typical American bar food types: Fries, sliders, wings. The games area is a decent sized, but you definitely don't want your children to wander off alone in there as there is a high potential of them getting lost. As others have stated, it really is an adult version of chuck e cheese! Try the 4 player air hockey - it is intense! Since this location is situated inside the Arundel Mills Mall, finding parking closest to its entrance can be crazy, especially on the weekends! read more

The only reason it's lost a star is because it's ALWAYS super duper crowded since the one in White Flint closed down. We really liked that one it just seemed like it was better for families the one here you'll find more adults but families are forced to come here since it's the only option. (That's why it gained a star its more family oriented not a bunch of drunk 22 year olds) We have a four year old and when ever she screams for chuckeecheese we know she is even more excited if we give her the Dave n busters options. The eat n play is a good deal only thing is you gotta eat first. Overall, good experience each time. Loads of FAMILY fun for kids and adults. LOVE THE PHILLY CHEESESTEAK! Love the snow cones! No diss to those with kids but, I don't like the let the kids roam free attitude some employ when patronizing D&B. I did not know that they have different rates for bowling before 5pm. For an establishment that is seeing a significant decline in patronage one would think that they would treat the only 2 people at the bar far better. The wait staff clearly had nothing to do, lounging around the bar, so they thought it ok to talk about me and my companion, whispering to one another. This establishment is on my "never again" list, and I will surely advise that anyone i know never patronize this place. And I take it the manager and others who were corralled at the end of the bar aren't not LGBT friendly. read more

I love anywhere that will allow me to feel like a kid. Growing up in the hood means I grew up quickly. Since 2008 this has been my spot when I wanna hang out with friends. I do hope they bring back the big NYE party. If you just wanna come and enjoy a sporting event, this is a cool spot! They have TVs all around the Bars in each area, on the walls in the main Bar. Only disadvantage is, the kids that are there, hang a while after 9pm. It would be great to have a adult only day or hours. I think it's 18 and up after 9. If I lived closer I would probably come more often and they would have all my money!! As for the food.... I was pleasantly surprised that the turkey burger was great!! I'm at a large group of friends here for drinks and games on a Wednesday night. The menu is pretty big and there are tons of fun drink options and heavy food options. Definitely do not come here if you are on a diet! It was happy hour so cocktails were half off. I decided I was going to take that opportunity to sample a lot of different cocktails. They were all really good. I also had a quesadilla which was very tasty. Our waiter Josh was a little rude and sarcastic but I think that was part of his schtick. He was attentive and really great about bringing all six of us a separate check. Games are also half off on Wednesdays. I bought a $25 power card and was able to go around the arcade and play a lot of games for that amount of money. My only complaint about the experience is that the bar in the arcade is understaffed. The bartender was very nice but she was clearly overwhelmed as she was the only one working. I look forward to returning to this place. I definitely plan to go on Wednesdays during happy hour since I feel like that is when you're going to get the most bang for your buck. read more

So it's only getting a one star because the service was so bad. Everything is what you expect from a Dave & Buster. The service was unbelievably bad but it might just be the waitress we had. She was pregnant and showing, so we tried to be super patient. She definitely didn't care about our table. I gave her $20 dollars in advance with the intention of tipping more just to show her that we weren't gonna leave here high and dry. Well she took that as I already made money and didn't bother coming back. There was literally an hour were she didn't check on us. I thought she might've been giving birth in the back. I'm not saying her service was bad due to the fact that our table had people of color there, but I saw her service with white customers and it seemed like she had no issue checking on them and getting what they needed. Several times I had to go to the bar to get things she forgot or didn't bother getting for us. Again idk if it had to do with our table having people of color, but she had that trailer look. The food took forever to come out. When it did come it was cold, the veggies were old, and the fruit in our drinks still had stickers on them. Ate here for dinner on 12/29/23. Service was extremely badddd. first of all we ordered food and drinks for the kids and drinks for us before the adults ordered their meal. The food comes out for the kids before we even received water or drinks for the table. My daughter nearly choked on the chicken nuggets because we still had not received drinks. I had to go to the bar to ask for water because there was no staff walking by to help. We had been in the restaurant for at least 30 min at this point. When we waved the manager to come to the table he said give me 10 sec and never came over. He came at least 30min later saying I forgot and what did we need. I did not even give him eye contact because that is unacceptable. literally 45min later we received drinks. Can you imagine. And it was not even crowded on a Friday night at 7:15 when we got there. There were plenty of open tables. They blamed it on short staff. Well short staff is not acceptable when it comes to taking care of patrons, with something simple as giving drinks. Let me start by saying we love D&B however this location is poorly managed. We arrived and waited 15 mins to even be acknowledged, finally seated ordered our food waited another 30-35 mins for our food, server was friendly but not really attentive. Our food finally arrived, my steak was luke-warm but the food tasted good so we ate it. The arcade is where I have issues, go to buy our cards the two girls at the front were very rude, we were the only people up there so it's not like they had a line. Games were fine a tad over priced but it's an arcade... so no biggy. The issue is when you have multiple cards and go to cash out your coupons the coupon desk can't/won't combine all tickets onto one card, you have to go back to the front and wait for the ride front desk staff to acknowledge you and help you, that's where o gave up and figured I'd just go back another day. Staff is clearly stretched thin, a lot of employees rolling their eyes, sighing and being snippy. I suggest management do something about their employees and the attitudes read more

First of all, I would like to inform you that there have been multiple escalations at this place including a stabbing. With that said....beware, enter at your own risk. Going here during the day time or early evening is fine but this place can get crazy and sketchy at night on the weekends. The food is typical American food....it's fine. Chicken tenders, steak, fries, etc etc. They have a large bar menu for all the drinkers out there. The games are the best part, they have skeeball, racing games, shooting games, trivia game, basketball, air hockey, bowling and pool tables. It's fun but like I said....can be sketchy. read more

Came to this location last weekend and I must say I like this location better than the other one in Capitol Heights, MD. Why? The food and drinks came out in a timely matter. The service was good and the server was honest about the menu. I had my options of drinks, he was BRUTALLY Honest (Drink is not strong, etc) Plus the bonus is how the casino is right around the corner. I'll definitely be back to this location. read more
