The food here is spectacular, so too is the ambiance and service. We had N17 Burgers that were amazing, avocado crispy rice, sweet potato fries, and a Caesar salad. The food was fantastic. The ambiance is a chill spot to watch sports. This is a gem. Thanks for an awesome Sunday watching hoops. The service was friendly and spectacular. Thanks we'll be at the N17 Lane again!

What a wonderful place to grab a bite and a drink. Super family friendly and delicious food. We grabbed the N17 burger and it was cooked to perfection! The flavor combination of the bacon onion jam and Swiss was perfect and not overpowering. There are TVs to catch whatever game is on and the service has always been wonderful. It can get loud if there's a riveting game on but otherwise it's great. I've also gone before to just grab a glass of wine at the bar and it was lovely. The owner was very gracious and knowledgeable.

N17 The Lane is a lowkey gem in Culver City. Clean, minimalistic aesthetic with a tight-knit bar layout that just works. The flat screens are perfectly aligned, making it an ideal spot for a clean sports bar vibe without the chaos. Service is efficient. Ordered a 2 Towns Bad Apple Cider with Sweet Potato Fries--simple, crispy, and on point. Chill atmosphere, solid drinks, and a space that feels intentional. Pull up if you want good energy, good screens, and no extra noise.

This place was delicious, but the service was not it. We ordered 2 burgers with a side of fries, 2 beers and got my kids pancakes. It was all really good. Like, REALLY GOOD. Unfortunately the service was really off. The server looked bothered the entire time. I picked up menus at the bar and when the server came to our table to take our order, he was annoyed we had the wrong menus. He didn't say anything. He just yanked them out of our hands, walked to the bar and came back with the brunch menus. It was really off-putting and we almost got up and left. It's hard to get toddlers on/off the car so we decided to just stay. The service never got better, but at least the food was really good. The burgers were perfectly cooked and the fries were probably my favorite. Everyone else there also seemed to be put off by the service, so the ambiance wasn't great. I would go back, but wouldn't stay if I saw the same server.

Loved this spot! Randomly went on a Sunday evening and not only was the place small and intimate, the food and drink items were better than we expected. Definitely one of my favorite local spots now. They have many tvs if people want to watch too. Not really a sports bar feel but more of a sporty wine bar feel. Our server, although busy, had such a great attitude and we could see how hard he was trying to accommodate everyone despite how busy he was. He deserves recognition for his shift that night

Parking: metered parking on Washington or find free neighborhood parking on surrounding blocks Experience: My roommate and I came here for the first time to watch baseball around 4:45pm and got some happy hour deals. The avocado crispy rice was fun and then we both ordered the burger, which was pretty good! We really liked the shoestring fries. For dessert, we got the skillet cookie. They had run out of ice cream and so they made some fresh whipped cream for us! Overall, it's a pretty chill ambiance and I'd come back for brunch.

We recently visited N17 The Lane with our family, a group of 10 including children. The restaurant was not very busy, and overall we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Everything we ordered was enjoyable, and the kitchen did a great job. The reason for the 3-star review is the service experience. Our server, who also appeared to be tending bar and possibly handling multiple responsibilities, came across as somewhat dismissive at times. For example, when I asked if the lemonade was freshly made, he jokingly replied, "Haha, not here." While it may have been intended as humor, it didn't come across very professionally. My elderly mother also had to ask several times for ketchup, and although he acknowledged her with a wave and indicated he would return, it took longer than expected. There was also some confusion with one of our orders, and a beer that seemed a bit flat. I want to be fair because the food was good, and I understand that service issues can sometimes be the result of understaffing, lack of training, or management challenges rather than one individual. My intention is not to criticize anyone personally but to provide constructive feedback. I normally don't write reviews, especially negative ones, but I felt this was worth mentioning because the restaurant has a lot of potential. With a little more attention to customer service and communication, the overall experience could easily match the quality of the food.

The food is fantastic, the prices are great, and the service is even better. Ivan took great care of us and was kind enough to let us control the TV volume while the restaurant was quiet. When it started to fill up, he politely let us know he would be turning the volume up. It was a small thing, but it felt thoughtful and appreciated.

What a happy little discovery! We've just moved to the area and couldn't have asked for a better introduction. Adam took wonderful care of us--friendly, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. The food was fantastic across the board, and the service somehow managed to be even better. We also really appreciated how professionally the staff handled a potentially awkward situation. A guest who had previously been feeding her dog asked to sit at the table next to us. We love dogs, but the team immediately and politely stepped in before it became an issue. She was kindly offered an outdoor seating option, but when she declined, the staff handled it calmly and respectfully, ensuring a comfortable dining experience for everyone. That level of care and awareness speaks volumes about how well this place is run. Exceptional food, outstanding service, and a team that truly looks out for its guests. We're so glad we found this little gastro pub and will absolutely be back.

Amazing experience overall! The food was deliciousss. I got the banh mi which had such tender meat and the bread had an amazing texture that was crispy. I loved the shoe string fries that came with the sandwich. The salmon crispy rice and shoyu chicken wings were also really delicious and had great seasoning and textures. The best part was Adam who was our server but also the owner of the restaurant and he was so nice and helpful! His hospitality really made it feel like home! The ambiance was a more casual dining with TV's that were playing sports games. Would definitely come back!

Super cute spot in the neighborhood! Always friendly service and great drinks. Keep in mind, the cocktails are wine based, but still delicious. I've done snacks and brunch here. While their frier isn't gluten free, they will bake the wings. I've also had breakfast-they will do their GF pancakes in a separate pan and they are tasty! Games are always on. Parking on any of the side streets, not permitted!

Came here for the 2nd game of the Dodgers World Series on Saturday. Cute spot, excellent service, yummy food and they played the games with live sound. Yes!!! Mussels - very good Crispy Brussels sprouts - delish French fries - skinny and yummy N17 burger - yum Sweet potato fries - good There's only beer and wine. Keep that in mind. I want to come back for brunch! Make sure you make a reservation. @travel_lifestyle_chow

Sports bar kinda experience, but not being as crowded. Just right for me as I could enjoy quieter dinner and didn't need to shout when talking LOL. The place was pretty busy every Friday night so reservation might work best when you're coming in bigger group. Waiting time was relatively lengthy though to get served and having all orders ready. I did appreciate the busy attendant who tried his best to still make us having great experience! I had their Char Siu Banh Mi, which surprisingly tasted beyond my expectations. Very well seasoned, juicy meat, and I loved the spicy kick from the jalapeño. The size was pretty filling as well for the price! My friends and I got the Skillet Cookie for dessert, closing our dinner flawlessly as it's freshly baked so still impeccably warm and gooey. Served a la mode, Oohhh. DA BOMB!

I also needed dinner so decided to go with a smashburger and fries, which was nothing special but was still devoured given my hunger level. Had to fork over steep Westside prices for a small meal that didn't fill me up and one drink. We left after the races were under way. I felt bad for the turtles with so many drunk kids hovering over them and all the lights and absurdly loud speakers. On any other night, it would be a cool place to sip a brew with the ocean breeze in your hair and toss some cornhole bags around with pals. One more note: parking can be scarce being on a busy street. Make sure to check street signage. I got lucky and snagged a close spot but others may have to walk a bit.

When we arrived, the entrance was constantly blocked by the hostess and security chatting. One staff member told me to head to the bar to order, but security then acted like I was doing something wrong. A little communication between staff would go a long way. At the bar, I was skipped twice while waiting to order. When I pointed it out, the bartender told me to "hold on" while assisting a 3rd walk up after me. I asked if we could move to an open table with table service as there were many empty for ghe hour we had already been there and was told no because they were too busy. Fair enough, but that's exactly when management should be visible, coordinating staff and helping guests. Instead, when I spoke with a manager, the response was essentially that he was focused on the bar area. Good management oversees the entire operation, especially during peak periods. I was one of 5 people in our party who spent around $100 on food and drinks (apx $500 spent in total), yet the service was a mess. If it's self-service, that's fine...but make it clear and make it work. Instead, I was skipped at the bar while ordering, staff gave conflicting directions, and there was virtually no support once we had our food. We found ourselves constantly going back and forth to the bar for drinks, utensils, soy sauce, and anything else we needed. No one checked in, and getting help from staff or management was nearly impossible. The food was decent, but the customer experience wasn't. Venice Beach is always busy. This shouldn't come as a surprise. If you're going to market yourself as part of that vibrant community, you need the operational standards to match.

The restaurant was more busy than usual with soccer on, but there were several sizable tables open outside. We told the hostess we had a group of 5, and she said they couldn't seat us. We asked if we could put our names on a list and she said they don't do lists. We asked if there was an estimated timeline on a table, and she said no. So I asked if she was turning us away and she said they couldn't serve us. We walked maybe 12-15 feet down the sidewalk to clear the entrance a little confused, and tried to regroup on dinner. I then watched the same hostess seat 3 groups of 2 and a group of 6. They all got there and approached the table after us, and the restaurant does not take reservations. So I decided to walk back and ask the hostess why we weren't able to be seated. She started mumbling about the tables not being big enough. The group of 6 they sat was a group of 8 eventually and they scooted tables together for them - our group could fit at a four top. We mentioned that. She told us she had to "get special permission" from her manager to seat them, and I asked why we couldn't have been accommodated similarly. She got flustered when we asked if we could scoot tables together or just sit at a 4 top. We had driven 45 minutes to eat there, and there was plenty of space. She acted like we were asking for too much, and told us she couldn't help us the first time because we "walked away," even though we were dismissed and we were still right in front of her. She did not apologize. She was super weird and unaccommodating until a male in our group walked up to ask the same questions. Then we were seated. The restaurant was short staffed, which we did not mind. Watching the sunset is a great distraction. Plus our waitress (red hair - did not catch her name) was absolutely fantastic. There were multiple items that did not make it to our table, but the staff quickly removed them from the bill.

First off, this place is WAY bigger than it looks from the outside. If you're a beer lover, you'll be obsessed with the self-pour concept. They give you a wristband that you scan at the taps, pour as much or as little as you want, and it automatically tracks everything on your tab. Super easy and honestly pretty fun. I was also shocked by their happy hour, which runs until 7 PM. On the Westside, that feels almost unheard of these days. I heard they used to have a larger sushi menu, but even so, the carpaccio and sashimi were legitimately 10/10. And I'm saying that as someone who's extremely picky about sushi--like omakase-level picky. I was genuinely impressed. Food-wise, everything we ordered was GASSSS. The carnitas nachos, fried chicken, spicy miso ramen, and wings all hit. No notes. The host, Ka, was incredibly sweet and welcoming. One thing I'd recommend: if it's game night, order your food a little early. The place was absolutely packed for the Knicks game, so food took a bit longer to come out, but it was worth the wait. This is definitely going into my regular rotation. Great for catching games, grabbing drinks with girlfriends, meeting up with friends, bringing a date, or even flying solo. They have bar seating, and I even spotted someone working on a laptop, so I'm guessing they have Wi-Fi too. Can't wait to come back!

My little pasta loving boy's pasta took so long to come out, all of us had finished eating. Despite asking where the little guy's food was a couple of times, there was no apology given when the food was finally delivered. If this was the world's most authentic bowl of noodles -- like the delay was making fresh pasta or something -- he would have been thrilled and gobbled it down. But this was the hottest and most overcooked gruel. You can see in the picture the congealed situation. My pasta loving boy didn't want it. He was starving and didn't eat it. Not tasty. We were in the mood to celebrate. Disappointing!
