Came in to order and all you can eat salad and all that comes with it in my guest went ahead and ordered a steak with the Malibu chicken. Not sure if it's the time of day but sometimes things can be off a bit, and today they were definitely off. The chicken was a bit on the cold side and steak not well done, but I still helped my guest polish it off anyways. While not pictured, Maribella did her best to salvage the experience, and for the most part succeeded with making constant rounds to refresh my salad bar plates, despite the steak and chicken being a little off. For the most car, a decent experience.

Such a treasure of a place! Please share and come back to keep this place alive! The never ending shrimp was phenomenal, absolutely fresh and clean salad bar and the service is top notch fantastic from the front desk to the servers and kitchen. Thanks GUY for taking the best care of us

We checked this place out recently for dinner and it was ok. My wife and I can't remember ever going to a Sizzler and this one was within walking distance to our hotel. My daughter had the kid's chicken tender meal. My wife ordered the unlimited salad bar and I had the 8 oz tri-tip steak with garlic mashed potatoes. My steak was ok, but I had to cut off quite a bit of fat. My wife said the salad bar was ok, but she couldn't find a lot of options. My daughter enjoyed her chicken strips and the complementary toast. Our server was friendly.

I don't remember how it started - just that a social media post was shared about Sizzler having its roots in Culver City - possibly also how so many restaurants (and businesses) are shutting down - but it resulted in a group of us having lunch here over the weekend. It's been so long since I stepped foot into a Sizzler that I can't even remember. But walking in, seeing the salad bar brought back memories. I'm getting ahead of myself though ... Parking was free and easy. At this location, the lot is under the freeway. Go and you'll see what I mean. Lots of space. When I left, the place was still packed, yet there were lots of spaces left. Maybe a bunch of guests just walked from the mall - but whatever the case, if it's packed, park at the mall and cross the street. Walk in, pay then find a seat. Something I found interesting is that you add the tip which is given to you in cash, to give to the server. Not sure I like this because I have to wonder how many people stiff the server. But just have have faith in humanity ... I'm trying. And service was great. I believe his name was Raul. He handled our party of 6 like a pro. It was busy and I mean busy. Tables were filled while people were waiting for the table kinda busy. All orders were correct and he made sure to take care of us with the cheese toast. I ordered the Ribeye along with Rice Pilaf. Added Sauteed Mushrooms and Grilled Onions. The only gripe I have is that if you look at the pics, I would have liked my onions to have been grilled more. Otherwise, all was great. Steak prepare as requested - Rare. And believe it or not, other than a few slice of cheese toast, I left stuffed. I did have more than a handful of refills of iced tea. I didn't even end up having dinner that night. I left fat and happy. Happy, not just because of the food but the experience. The reminder of simpler times, like my first experience with a salad bar. Or stuffing myself with dessert. It was a blast from the past and I wouldn't be surprised if I end up here again.

Nostalgic, Nostalgic, Nostalgic!! Sizzler makes you Sizzles... Our friends wanted to do a lunch at the first ever Sizzler and here we are in Culver City. Let me tell you, I have not been to a Sizzler for over 15 years! There are 2 locations near me and we don't even go! I opt in with a RIBEYE steak since I haven't had one in a while... YES, they have rib eye steaks! I did not have high expectations and expected to order medium rare and the steak comes back medium well like most American diners serving non steaks specialty restaurants. To my surprised, the steak did came out medium rare with charred marks on the outside, the way I like my steaks! The fat and meat ratio was not bad. Not overly fatty. For $28, I was content because usually spends $40 to $50 for the same quality elsewhere. The salad bar was fresh and clean, the clam chowder soup was also delicious. It had real clams inside and its rich in flavor Everything was so Nostalgic from the way you order your food, the salad bar, and to the yummy complimentary cheese toasts!! Our waiter, RAUL was such a fine, classy, helpful waiter. He was always cleaning up our plates, and checking in. The restaurant was bright and clean and I see the staffs constantly refilling and wiping down the salad bar section. Believe it or not, we were there for 4 hours and they never rushed us out. Parking is a bit misleading. If you enter from south side, they only have about 10 parking spots, go to the other side of the restaurant and there are plenty of parking spots under the freeway bridge. I look forward to coming here again when I want a convenient Ribeye steak a d salad bar.

Brought me many memories of times gone... I used to come to Sizzler after flights when I used to work for an airline... it's an traditional type of restaurant, with very good affordable meals... I got a prime rib burger that to be honest, is one of the best I've tried... I know it's a people's restaurant that you tend to forget when you grow you taste to the next level, but still I love it !! my wife had the salad bar that it's one of the last survivors in town... Ana our server was beautifully helpful !! The only diminishing fact was the carpet in this venue, it looks extremely old and dirty, they might think about either installing a new one or change it to something more modern like tile floor... anyway I'm invited to come back some time and the price is very modest compared to the food..

This is nostalgia. It was my Grandparents place to eat at and we spent many evenings at Sizzler after church. Not much has changed and I believe this restaurant deserves a do over that gathers the crowds to enjoy good food. We spent 150 for 5 adults. I got the peach lemonade, rib eye medium with baked potato and I added the soup and salad bar. Guy was our waiter and he was amazing. Lemonade is refreshing. I enjoyed the peach flavor. It hit the spot. My ribeye was tasty but the meat was chewy. It was prepared medium but I still had to chew like a cow. I will get the shrimp next time. The salad bar is extravagant. I thoroughly enjoyed the 3 types of lettuce and all the toppings from hard boiled eggs, beets, banana peppers, Craisins, etc. I will be back to enjoy the salad bar. The clam chowder was just okay. It wasn't terrible but I could take it or leave it. Potatoes were mushy and water logged. I truly believe if they can prepare better steak amd invest in higher or more expensive cuts of meat or get higher grade of the cuts they have, the steak will take off. They should really work to revamp that because Sizzler's should be known for their steak but it's definitely not there yet. Service is effective and efficient. Restaurant is clean and roomy. I hope Corporation reads this and makes amends. I wanna see Sizzler revitalized.

My brother & i come at least once a week to eat here. We are big steak lovers and we love coming here because it's so chill. Our server is usually the same person hahaha shoutout to Guy. He's alway so attentive. The steak is always cooked the way we want it which is nice because that's hard to get sometimes in other places. the restaurant is clean for the most part, restroom could be cleaner. ps. sizzler please bring back peanuts topping for ice cream

We came here on a Tuesday night and it was good. We got the steak and herb chicken plate with a side of garlic mashed potatoes, my friend and I shared one. My other also got the same thing and he added the salad bar. They have a lot of selections for the salad bar from fried green beans to soup and even dessert. We love the garlic bread they provide. It tastes so good. The service was good and fast. The ambience is super chill. They have a lot of parking which is great.

This is by far the worst Sizzler we have ever been to. The food was so bad I sent it back and just asked for a refund, I never do that. Parking is easy in their lot. The place is not clean enough to my standards. The bathrooms were very clean. The salad bar was so boring. Other Sizzlers have a nice selection. This was not. We walked into order, you order right when you walk in. There is not a huge menu like other Sizzlers. I ordered a burger rare and I was very clear about rare. I was asked if I wanted fries or a baked potato. I thought those were my only choices, I ordered the baked potato with no sour cream. My husband ordered a steak rare and was shown side choices that I was never offered on a little card near where you stand at the counter. He ordered a baked potato. I had no idea they also had garlic mashed and a few others. I did not want to confuse so I let it go. Really bad way to market. We went in and found a booth which needed my napkin to clean it. It had already been their idea of clean. Not mine. A server came by took our receipt and asked if we wanted some garlic bread. It never came. Our food arrived and my burger was medium well. Gross. My baked potato was filled with sour cream. I tasted my burger and though I am not eating this. I sent it back to have it and the potato done right. My husbands steak was medium. He just ate it. He was not thrilled. My food came back and again the burger was overcooked. The baked potato had no softness to it. And where is that bread. Not coming, ever. I tried to eat this way over cooked burger and I was done. I sent it back and said just take it off the bill. No one came to say sorry, our server sort of disappeared off the planet. My husband was bummed because he knew I would not be having dinner at all. Oh well. I was so disappointed. I will never go back and again not one person came to say we messed up, sorry. Nothing. Stay away.

I used to go to this place ever so often when they had locations on the East Coast while driving down Sepulveda Boulevard I happen to notice a very familiar logo. I just had to go inside and eat a meal and go back so many childhood memories of service was amazing. The ambience welcome to your hunger in a way that you knew you were leaving satisfied can't wait to go back home and tell people about this place all over again. They'll probably think I'm lying. But I got the pics to prove it. Thanks for such an amazing blast to the past.

I had the one made with mezcal, green tea, coconut, and a splash of pineapple juice. I could taste the mezcal but it didn't overpower the drink. It was crisp and balanced. I had to really hold myself back from not drinking the cocktail like a glass of water on a hot day. I slowed down to savor it but it took some restraint. The oysters were fresh and flavorful. The size of the oysters was on the smaller side which was fine. The sashimi was incredibly tender and was in a sauce that complemented it perfectly. A friend had the sea bass which looked delicious as well. We sat outside, which had a nice open and airy feel even though it was a covered patio. The service was excellent. Our waiter was attentive and present. The banana cream pie was excellent. It had great texture and structure; it wasn't mushy. The bananas tasted fresh and were not soft nor overripe. The thin layer of melted chocolate on bottom of the crust was different for a banana cream pie but I liked it. Overall, everything we ordered was flavorful and thoughtfully prepared. Laurel Grill was an enjoyable experience. This is a cashless restaurant, credit cards only.

I was instantly so glad we chose this spot to celebrate our anniversary because it was the perfect setting for a romantic date night. Now, let's talk about the food! Everything we ordered was delicious, with the exception of the Korean aguachiles, which we probably could've skipped. We also tried the bluefin bibimbap, oysters, and the oh-so-tender short rib that practically melted in our mouths. But the most unforgettable dish was also the simplest: the Korean fried chicken. It wasn't necessarily something out of the ordinary, but it sure tasted like it. The perfect crisp, flavor, and seasoning had us eating every last piece right down to the bone. Our server also made the experience even better. She gave us some of the best recommendations and were incredibly attentive and friendly throughout the entire meal. My friend and I ordered the soy marinated prawns, beef tartare stone pot rice, creamy chicken soup, Wagyu beef soft tofu soup. The prawns were nicely marinated in a slightly sweet slightly salty soy sauce, and came paired with some barley and seaweed to make mini wraps. Delicious and a nice way to start the meal. The creamy chicken soup was indeed very creamy and smooth but the bowl is really small and would've been better with a higher soup to noodle ratio since the noodles soaked up the yummy soup. The tofu soup was surprisingly bland even though it was very red. It could've used more umami flavor or spice - something to jazz it up since the tofu, egg, and beef itself were not seasoned. My favorite dish of the night was the steak tartare stone pot rice. It came with a lot of veggies that helped balance out the sauce and I'm a sucker for crispy rice. However, the rice itself wasn't seasoned thoroughly as some spots had absolutely delicious sauce while other spots were bland. And the sauce wasn't a part of the tartare on top so it wasn't a mixing issue. The staff are kind and attentive, even with us being tucked away in the back corner and hidden by a curtain panel.

The salad was fine, but nothing all that exciting. The staff were very kind, and the spot is super cute. I loved sitting outside and it was fun to eat at a place that feels high end without being stuffy or overly pretentious. I'd come back to try other items and just for the ambience, honestly!

We had a great experience and great food at N17 The Lane! I see some recent complaints regarding…read moreservice during the World Cup. It's clear they've put intentional effort into improving this week, as service was a highlight for us. Our waiter, Sunny, was so polite, quick, and communicative. He had a lot of tables to cover, as it was a packed and chaotic room during the Mexico vs. Ecuador game last night. The N17 burger and fries (both the regular shoe string fries and sweet potato fries) were fantastic! Both were cooked just right, very flavorful, and the fries were nice and crispy. The atmosphere and design of the restaurant in front isn't your typical "sports bar" - it feels more like a cute, sunny brunch restaurant with high-quality screens for sports viewing - but the clientele feels just like any other sports bar would :) It was very lively and fun to watch with others last night. For the World Cup, they've opened up their event space in the back which is not set up like a typical restaurant - but it was great for viewing! The screens are HUGE and very high-quality.

I don't understand how a "sports bar" decides to host an event for the World Cup yet can't provide…read moredecent service and/or a welcoming environment for such an event. Listen, I understand being busy is one thing but blatantly ignoring paying customers that have been sitting and waiting to be served for 20-30 minutes after only ordering two drinks is strange to me. And then to come back and ask if we wanted to remove the items we already ordered without us having to bring it up just lets me know that you remembered all this time but chose not to serve us until someone had to go ask to be served AGAIN. Even other venues that are 5x bigger than this one have better customer service/attentiveness. We also ordered the bottomless mimosas and only got through 2 bottles because it took them 20 minutes to bring out the first one and another 15 to bring out the second one when it was asked for. And on top of that, they act like they're doing YOU a favor by bringing out the food & drinks that YOU paid for. I have never written a negative review before but this experience was awful; just a waste of money &, what should have been, a good time.
