Stopped by for a quick bite or late lunch. Parking can be a hassle since if right inside or next to the casino so abit of walk, which is fine to build up an appetizer. The place is well decor with big bar and big dinning area or areas, they do have outdoor patio and private dinning areas too. Service is okey since there's not much of it. We only saw one host and 1 or w servers. Menu is big with varies of choices. Our server was nice and friendly but once he's went away, it will be a long long long time to the next visit. The foods are just okey, nothing special...some are just off on the seasoning. Glad that my lychee martini was great. Prices are on the high end...overall it was okey with a great cocktail.

Went for Chinese new year celebration. Parking was limited as they had cordoned the lot off for fireworks The place was decorated well Service was a little lacking as it was very busy. Good was tasty though

The only restaurant at Bay 101. Never really appealed to me to come here to eat but met up with an old coworker and wanted to try it out! We both got their turkey avocado club sandwhich that comes with fries. The sandwhich comes with cranberry sauce in it too which I thought was interesting. Usually cranberry sauce would be more of a Thanksgiving thing but works for this too. Fries are so good here but it did make my stomach a bit upset a few hours later. Server was nice when taking order, but no one came to check up on us the entire time. We had to keep flagging them down for the bill too. Ate half of the sandwhich and ate the rest for dinner later.

We came In for an early dinner and there was only a few people at the bar. I haven't been to the province in years and we were in the area so we went for it. Server seemed nice but wasn't too attentive. Mostly stuck around with the people at the bar. We ordered some appetizers and other dishes shortly after. My wife ordered pho and I ended up getting the shaking beef plate. Dropped the food off and didn't see him till we were done. The supervisor walked past and asked if we needed anything so she asked for the soups condiments, soup spoon, chopsticks and more water. That should've been an automatic with that order? Boss had to tell him to come over a few times.. Food was ok. Nothing really worth another visit. Calamari was bland and breading fell apart. I had to eat it all so I wouldn't hear the 'I told you so' Oysters were ok. Fresh and cold. Fries had to be the best thing we ordered. Shaking beef was meh. I ate it, I was hungry. Pho she said was again, just ok. The old location Bay101 restaurant was always packed and food was great. That place I miss..

Place is horrible, ordered the fried calamari, it was hard and chewy. Place is dirty, seems like a restaurant in third world country. Don't recommend

Buddy of mine wanted to gamble a little bit so I went along for the ride. After losing a few bucks we decided to try Province and it wasn't the experience I would have hoped for. The interior is beautiful, so I was ready for such a great dining experience. Service was a bit slow, but the restaurant was completely empty. I was honestly confused on why it took so long for our waiter to come speak to us, but it was about 10 minutes of us sitting alone before being waited on. Food was actually pretty good, I really enjoyed the shaking beef and the spicy shrimp appetizer. I highly doubt I would ever come back though since service is the main thing I come to nicer restaurants for and the service here just wasn't it.

December 31, 2025..We come for the New Year's Eve Party with my husband, my son and his girlfriend, there is a Band and DJ to entertain everyone with different kind of music, ,90's is the team that night. We also have the dinner reservation that night, and beyond my expectations, I enjoyed every meal they served. From the appetizer to the dessert. Dance floor is always packed, proves that everybody is enjoying the night... Even my son who is 22 years old also have a wonderful night.. Thanks to the team for a wonderful experience, will do again next time

Three stars overall for The Province. Sure, it's upscale and fancy but the food [[imo]] doesn't justify the small portions/costs. I frequent here because there aren't any other options beyond The Province here at Bay 101. Call me crazy but I just miss the cheaper eats, bigger food option list, and bomb eats that the old Bay 101 used to have. Late night eats are not the same!!! Waaaaaaahhhh!!! Flavors aren't spot on when it comes to the Asian aspect but they certainly aren't bad. Food is absolutely catered towards the American palate. For those who are looking for a true authentic Asian-flare, avoid this place completely- it really wouldn't be worth the calories. FYI: I highly recommend you double check your togo orders before taking off. There have been more than one occasion where rice was received instead of noodles and certain requests were not followed.

Do you guys allow people to bring bottle and charge corking fees? If yes, then what is the charge? Thank you

While we have a very extensive wine list with many premium wines, I do understand people are comfortable with their own favorites from time to time. For that reason we do offer a corkage service at $25 per bottle. We look forward to seeing you…

Do they still have happy hour?

    What is the hightop seat?

Hi Angie, it's like a bar stool seat...hope that helps. See you soon.

Anyone know if they still have DJ on Saturday Nights?

Can I come at 12:01 AM the night of my birthday? I know CA doesn't have a law against this, but I'm assuming bars might have their own policy?

Depends on which day. Sunday thru Thursday the restaurant closes around 10pm. Friday and Saturday nights 8pm to 2am is DJ Nights. Last call for alcohol is 1am for the entire casino and restaurant.

Do they have any dancing at this venue?

There is DJ Nights every Friday and Saturday night 8pm to 2am for dancing.

    Tips on good parking?

Parking is pretty much first come first serve basis. Uber or Lyft is easier on Friday and Saturday nights since is usually difficult to find parking.

    Accept walk ins?

Yes they do accept walk ins

Is there a billiard table, shuffle board, darts or arcade?

no. i didn't see any of them in my last visit.

Do they allow kids? planning for anniversary celebration?

Children are allowed in the restaurant, however, the closest restrooms are located inside the casino so they will need to accompanied by an adult.

And then somehow ordering them AGAIN. At some point I think the fries just became part of the family. We also tried the deviled eggs with tobiko, which were SO good! But let's talk about the drinks because this is where things got dangerous. Our server Sam was AMAZING. He was attentive without hovering, knew the menu, and gave us recommendations that were genuinely spot-on. We trusted him completely by the end of the meal, which is how we ended up trying several cocktails. My favorite was the Low rider because I'm a mezcal girly and the espresso martini was especially good definitely one of the better ones I've had. I loved the different ingredients they use, including Ola Coffee, which gave it something a little different. And then Sam recommended the whiskey butter cake. That cake was the perfect ending. Every recommendation he gave us was a hit, so at this point I would probably let Sam plan my entire brunch menu. We had such a fun family brunch and genuinely left talking about how much we enjoyed everything. Hey there Party People…read more I've been to the Table several times since my first review for the restaurant and just felt I needed to restate the obvious....this place is great. Hubby and I wanted to have brunch The Table is the best spot. You can get bottomless Mimosas for a very reasonable price. But first and foremost the food is what you go for. Not to mention you can take a very pleasant walk along Willow street and check out the shops after a great meal. The menu really lends to sharing plates so you can really get your foody on. We had the beignets to start. Made with ricotta and lemon curd for dipping. The beignets were very moist and a little dense because of the ricotta. The sugar coating was light and the crust was perfectly crunchy. What really made the beignets sing was the lemon curd dipping sauce just added a deep layering of flavor. Then there was the Heirloom Tomato salad with artichoke hearts. It was a tasty bite. The fry on the artichoke hearts was light bringing out the artichoke flavor. The treatment of the heirloom was clean simple and the whole dish together was just wonderful. Finally we had the Chicago Roast beef sandwich. It was huge and made me glad that we were splitting the dishes. The sandwich really reminded me of the east coast because of the peppers and carrots medley that was on the sandwich, which packed a fantastic little kick to wake up the pallet. Their Au Jus dipping sauce brought the hold combination together. Per my Hubby, who is a real Roast Beef lover, the whole sandwich was next level. Rather than addressing what actually happened -- a customer being racially harassed on their premises -- management's response was to ban me, not the person who harassed me. If a business allows this kind of harassment to go unaddressed and then punishes the target of it for reacting, that's a real problem, not a minor service issue. This is the San Francisco Bay Area. The only dish that came out very slowly was the dessert, we did wait about 25 - 30 minutes just for the softserve, but all other dishes came out in a moderate time. Rouge de Bordeaux Milk Bread, comes with cultured amazake butter and some salt. Comes out super warm, puffy, and soft. Very nice pull and the butter is super decadent. Very great take on a japanese shokupan, we were hesitant at first, but it makes for a good appetizer 5:5 Warm Sesame Pancakes were like those mini sesame mochi pancakes at chinese dim sum, but the texture was slightly airy. The sauce to accompany it was unlike anything i've had, smoked trout, avocado and yuzu. The avocado was not over powering and the cream on top was whipped. Amazing pairing. 5/5 Sashimi of Kanpachi, japanese cucumber salad as the base and dressing with the kanpachi sashimi. I will say this was the weakest dish of the night. While still good, it was a bit too tart, it overpowered the other natural flavors. Fish was still very good, tender and not fishy, but again, over powered but all the tartness in the dish. 3/5 Yellowfin Tuna on sushi rice - this was a great shareable plate of upscale poke. The tuna was great, no fishy taste, perfectly seasoned and the smoked kira had an amazing pop of flavor. Very rich and decadent dish, absolutely loved the harmony of a slight smokey flavor to the nice rich, umami savoriness. 5/5 Crispy Caledonian Prawns - Absolute star of the night. We could not stop talking about these prawns. Big plump prawns, fried perfectly, where the prawn itself was not dry but the shell had a shatteringly crispy exterior definitely slightly coated with a starch to give it a nice crunch. The chili ramp sunomono was a great touch, not spicy at all but added a great touch of flavor that complimented the crispy prawns. Could devour plates of these! 6/5! Sword-Fish Katsu Style - A great take with sword fish, flakey but not overcooked, great thin crispy katsu. Accompanied by kumquat and cauliflower, helps cut down the greasiness. The sauce with it was a buttery tart sauce. This was a lot better where the tartness helped the fried fish. It was like eating a fried fish burger without the buns. I really enjoyed this one. 5/5 Lastly we ordered a softserve with peaches, shokupan croutons and a caramel dressing. We had to wait about 25 minutes just for the small softserve so we were a bit surprised as other dishes came out relatively quickly or in an orderly fashion. It still tasted great as a little small dessert but definitely was surprised by how long it took. 3/5 Overall, we were very happy with our experience at Ethel's and it definitely lives up to the standard it sets. I can't wait for other new dishes to try and come back in the future.

I thought some dishes were great; the wagyu burger was decadent. Other dishes were not that special. The scallops didn't taste too fresh (likely frozen) and combining them with hummus didn't quite work. The side of bread was practically insulting. $5 for stale table bread was a surprise. Dishes arrived very late; we were nearly forgotten when we tried to order, and then after ordering, we waited 40 minutes between appetizers and the main course. Not because they were cooking it; they just forgot we were there and when they brought out the dishes, the scallops were no longer just-cooked, and the burger had been sitting for a bit. No apology, just an acknowledgment it was late, and no discount (not even on the stale bread). They offered us wine, we said we didn't drink, and they just moved on. I debated a lot about how to review this. It's my personal experience that was disappointing, and I'm glad some reviews are very upbeat. But there's a handful of reviews noting frustrating delays... and that needs to be worked on.
