Tried to order food for 20+ mins but couldn't: 1 star Hadn't been to D&B in years & wont be back. Went mid week lots of people playing games but NOT overly crowded in the food booths/tables by games. Sat at a table near the games for 20+ mins TRYING TO ORDER FOOD. Asked (3) different servers if I could order, they all said I had to wait for the server for this section. How does a company like D&B have NO iPads on any tables to order food. D&B Ops leadership needs to be fired, can't even imagine how much $$$$ they're losing bc customers that want to order food - can't order food. D&B need to benchmark the Yardhouse. At any YH u can order any food or beverage from an iPad, All u need are food runners to bring the food. Incompetent D&B food manager said, "look we're busy" he probably the one that muffed the schedule. Instead of clown lead or manager trying to rectify or do something to help, they did nothing. Didn't try to step up and try to resolve this issue by assigning another server that was less busy or by taking the order, themselves. He said "be patient." It's always a fun time at Dave & Buster's-Milpitas! Depending when and what you are there for :) Let's start with the food! The Chicken Cantina Nachos is one of my faves, it's loaded with flavorful toppings that made every bite satisfying. The Double Pepperoni Flatbread was delicious, with a crispy crust and with their pepperoni. The BBQ Chicken Flatbread really stood out with its tender chicken and tangy BBQ sauce that balanced the flavors perfectly. Those are my two choices of faves for flatbread which is great for sharing! The Cheese Stick Stack is stacked with cheese, ehe. To cool off, got a Strawberry lemonade which is fruity and I like it! Service was a bit slow, likely due to the packed crowd and not enough man power at times, but the staff remained friendly and accommodating. The ambiance was lively and fun, with a great vibe even on busy days, making it an enjoyable spot for a casual night out especially on Wednesday's. There's food, drinks, arcades and you can watch games here. It's pretty much considered a Chuck E. Cheese for adults. They have happy hour. Not the best selection. The food here is just ok. It's either bland or overly salty. If you're trying to flag down your server, be patient because it'll take awhile. They have a DJ and play music on Wednesdays. Music will be on blast and have a fog machine going off as well that'll leave your eyes dry. read more

My family and I come to Dave and busters at various locations once in a while. This is a decent location with plenty of games and a couple bar areas. We went to play pool and decided to order a tower. I tried to order a tower at the bar but was turned away to purchase from a server as towers aren't allowed to be sold at the bar. I flagged down a server but was told to go to the bar but I explained what the bartender told me. The server told me he will find me later(15 minutes later). Finally, they came to take our order after a long wait. We ordered a tower and Mac and cheese for my wife. The order took half an hour to arrive even after persistent questioning. We were not happy with the lack of service and the audacity to ask for a tip and closure or the tab right after the brought the tower and food. In addition, the mac and cheese was just sad. Do not get it unless you want Kraft's Mac and cheese, which you can make at home for a fraction of the cost. I hope this is a one off situation but we were not happy with the level of service or the quality. They may be understaffed but I don't know. I give it a 2 stars, before the trip to the bathroom the food was actually really delicious even though we had to ask multiple times for utensils, drinks and napkins. Let me start by saying it had been YEARS since my last trip here I don't remember this place being so run down. For the amount of money charged to play games you would not expect the bathrooms to be so trashed. Toilets might just need to be replaced! Don't spend $ at this venue. After spending $150 for a seasonal pass, we realize we need to plan when we should come here or be hit w/ an entry fee. Kind of stupid and inconsistent to pay for something you aren't there for. Even more stupider the fact that the place was 1/2 empty- which costed them over $250 in sales as we took are dinner experience elsewhere. Leadership - maybe charge a fee for the tables where the TV's are located. But definitely revisit your guidelines and policy especially if your venue is 1/2 full. I shouldn't have to plan in advance when to use a non restricted pass that you sold me to then realize there is an additional entry fee and I'll need to check when those days are. That is not convenient and family friendly. *How did I know it was 1/2 empty? I had a other group that was inside before they charged the fee. We came yesterday Saturday the 25th for my nieces birthday. I gave 3 stars because although our waitress was nice and when we had to ask for something she would ask if we need anything else. But it was so hard to get anything. We were never asked if we wanted refills for water or our drinks. Our dirty dishes were left on our table after we were done eating. We even stacked them to make it easier for them to take and they just sat there for a long time. They had a contest going on and the manager came over to our table and asked my nieces father if he wanted to participate, he was the only one asked. When they had a woman's contest as well. When we watched the mens contest and they finally called for the women no one came. 3 people from our table signed up, it was us 3 with another lady. My partner ended winning. I was surprised the food we got actually came out good. (I don't know why) I never really ate dinner there except appetizers. But it was good and big portions. Everyone got their food except my son. His food didn't come out for how long after all of us were eating. I had to ask them about his food. The waitress had went in the back and came out right away with it so I think it was just sitting in the back and they probably forgot. They didn't kick us out of the table right away which was a plus when we ate. We sat there for while. Only thing was my mom is in a wheelchair and we had no were to let her sit at while everyone played games. Like for her to sit at a table to wait. Before we ordered food the manager asked if he could take a picture of everyone at our table and the guy who was doing the contest took it with us. Just curious where those pictures will go so we can get a copy ourselves. Other than that we had a good time. The manager seemed nice I had asked him if he could refill my drink then he asked me when I got my surgery for my leg - which I haven't yet but he told me he was just returning from having his. In town visiting friends and family and wanted to watch some Sunday football and drink some beer since most of us are deep in the fantasy leagues. This location was middle ground to meet up at. Look people, it's not a gourmet restaurant, it's a chain like Chilis and Applebees. The food here is basic. There were 4 of us so we ordered the two samplers that consisted of chicken strips, fried pickles, fries, wings, sliders and pretzel wrapped mini dogs. It's beer fuel, did the job. After some beer and cocktails we spent about $200 for the 4 of us. That's not including the games, I'm not sure how much was spent on that only half our party played them. Perhaps it is to make it seem like there is more to do, but it seems to have the same amount (but different type) of games as the Concord location. This place was a great place to celebrate my nephews fourth birthday. You have to make sure to go on a Wednesday for half off games. Because we all know on normal days it can be expensive. Also, kids have a lot of energy so this place was the perfect place to burn off their energy. I got the parmesan chicken and garlic truffle fries. The chicken parm was surprisingly very tasty. My speech and debate program, Brooks Debate Institute, has held its annual end of season team banquet at Dave & Buster's Milpitas for the past two years now. We had a great experience last year in 2023 and even better time back in 2024. For $30 per guest, our group got a big private room in the back for all 80 of our gusts, dinner buffet/drinks, and gamecards w/ $20 credit for redemption games and unlimited video games. I considered other options briefly... bowling... theme park... pizza place... none of them made sense in comparison. I don't think it's possible to beat $30 per person for unlimited food/games + a private space, which was really important as our team does performances and awards to end the night. The staff there set us up with a projector, audio, HDMI hookup, and mic for our evening program. The projector was also a nice way to catch that night's NBA Playoffs before our program too. Booking was also easy both times. I was put in touch with Heather Ulloa (Sales Manager, Northern CA) who was able to help us reserve/book a week or two before our event and even update our headcounts the day of the event which I greatly appreciated: I'm a teacher, our program's solo coach, and last-minute stuff happens when you're working with kids. Came here with some friends to celebrate a birthday. The people who work here aren't very friendly at all. First, they made us pay a cover charge of $10 per person for an event that was already over and a DJ that played for only an hour or so. The staff at the bar and the waiters weren't very nice at all. As much as I've been here since they first opened this location over 20 years ago..the service seems to just go downhill. The place is like any other Dave and busters. Bars, booths, and games. There was seven of us and a few of us went to the bar to order some cocktails. The bar in the game room wasn't busy but it took a while to get our drinks and one was going to be brought to our booth. 20mins later, my niece still hasn't gotten her mojito. Her dad went to follow up and it looked like the bartender forgot. Now the next 20mins or so, no one has checked on us or even offer us menus. I went to grab a few menus myself and all the sudden someone decides they want to ask us if we're alright. We ordered fries and nachos. Once they brought our order, we also asked for mayo and a little plate or sauce bowl. You know what we got? A few mayo packets and a couple of soda cup lids to use as a sauce dish. Seriously?! It's my nieces 18th birthday and we are partying having a fun time at Dave & Buster's tonight. It's been a minute for me but I had a great time our server Jason was amazing. The party planner Mildred super awesome, very friendly and attentive to her. Make sure we were great as well as our server Jason he made sure that we had everything we needed drinks napkins utensils cups ice, I'll definitely be back again for grown-up night or half off night. I had an ok experience last night at Dave & Busters. I booked my party of 20 through open table. It was my very first time booking an event and it'll be my last. Since it was my first time I didn't know what to expect, we were celebrating my son's 9th B-day with his soccer team. I was unaware that there is no big party food ordering, everything is sold individually and separate including drinks. The hostess could see my disappointment and was super kind and gave my group game cards with $10. We had to keep getting our servers attention to order food and drinks as some of my guests open their own separate tabs as they saw prices and felt bad for me. As much as we paid in food alone we were better off booking a party package somewhere else. This place is great for small groups gathering under 10 people. Maybe about 10 minutes later a gentleman came to drop menus and didn't really say much. Close to 15-20 mins later he still has yet to come back and even take our drink orders.... We see him chit chatting with co workers and finally going around to his other tables. There was plenty of staff around the bar but not sure if he was in charge of every table around it. So to begin with service was no where to be found where we sat at. We then begin to get impatient and decide to go to the main dining area away from the games. Maybe we have better luck at better service. Mind you we've told the waiter we've already been waiting a while so the kids were of course anxious. Between 1:55 - 1:25 we barely got our drinks.....he didn't even ask us for drinks lol just brought some waters and some sodas that the other half of the table happen to just ask him for. We got sat by the pool tables and not even in the main restaurant. While he was taking our orders he kept looking to the other side as if he needed to leave and making us hurry up. Why even sit us all the way out here???? By that time we ordered and asked how long would the food take. We were pretty much fed up with the service that this place offered. Which was hardly any service. Like I said there was plenty of workers literally walking around yet no one cared. We finally asked if the food isn't being made then we'd like to cancel and just leave. 15 plus years ago, I used to frequent D&B for their drink specials on Thursdays and we would just stay in the bar area and have a few drinks before we hit the party scene in San Jose. Fast forward and I still visit Dave & Buster's with my kiddo. He loves this place. Actually he just loves any place with games and prizes. I came back to visit last week and we had lunch there on a Sunday. Lots of people watching the game and also lots of families at the arcade. Restaurant service is barely there. We get seated, order on a pad and get food -- no follow through. For food, we ordered: a kids' hamburger meal with fries, shrimp and grits and a Philly cheesesteak with fries. The shrimp and grits plate was actually good; I was surprised. Everything else was not pleasing. The arcade is really busy and some of the games are run down. It's still a fun place to be, and can get expensive if you have multiple kids (thank goodness I only have 1). $60 could last him for 2 hours of fun and a cheap prize! Today my teenaged son John and I went to Dave and busters Milpitas. He was setting up a 16tg birthday party for his gf and we both were new to the rules of reservation. We'd gone in way too early- but although we were trying to figure it all out a man standing in the from named Steven was helpful in a spectacular way!! He showed us around a bit, found us a nice table, was very informative and had a good personality. After that he even brang back over our server Jonathon -who helped out too by being both accommodating and friendly. My husband and I came here for a early Saturday lunch. We were greeted and seated right way. The service was fast and friendly. We ordered some drinks and and they came right away. My husband had a beer and I ordered a margarita. The margarita came with a slice of orange on top of it. This was a delightful flavor surprise. The orange added a little sweetness to the drink. We ordered and shared the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. The sandwich was very flavorful and this was plenty of food for 2 people.
