Make sure to load that card with $50-$100 the takes eat it up quickly and after a few drinks you'll forget how much you're spending. Work had an event here. Food was a buffet style. All you can eat, unlimited drinks. Alcoholic beverages need to be purchased. Service was on point. They are consciously making sure there is food and beverages available for everyone. That location was not really packed with other people until probably around 1 o'clock. Love the music. It was really nice in there. AC was on because it was a really hot day outside. I really enjoy that location even though it's pretty far from where I live. Came to this location because we had to kill time before an MRI appointment nearby upon entering the establishment. The girl at the front desk was not very approachable or had any customer service whatsoever after we purchased a game card we went upstairs to go play some games and it appeared like majority of them were out of order or being worked on one of the games, even took my money and never gave me any beanbags for the cornhole game. This is by far the worst Dave & Buster's I have ever been to the lack of customer service the lack of help with games and attentiveness is just unacceptable. There's this combo where you get food and drink and playing card and it didn't last very long. All games take different amounts of tokens or credits and they are just drained at the end of 30 minutes. I think the best bang for your buck has to be the unlimited pass... other than that, the prize store was really cute and the variety of things you can get when you redeem your points is great! A massive majority of the two player games were half working or down all together. I mean, at least 7-8 games were in this state, from the Godzilla game to Mariokart. If you plan a visit, my advice is to head up the stairs and survey the game floor BEFORE you buy a game card. Truly a bummer because this location has great parking and is attached to Northridge Mall if you have shopping to do. The vibe of Dave and Buster's is always great and a wonderful way to relax after work and socialize with friends. Bar Area: I got to order the Blackberry Margarita, but also taste the Dangerous Waters and the Mango Bull drinks. All delicious!! I am thankful for the hostess for giving us a table of 20. The bar was quick with tending to our orders, but unfortunately I can't say the same for the food when we were given a table. Food Service Experience: Not all of our group ordered, only a handful of us ordered food. I'd say that the ordering from our group also happened in small waves (2 to 3 orders at a time) due to different arrival times. The wait for each wave of food was consistent, however, being incredibly long. They were about 45-60 minutes each! The restaurant was barely full of a lot of people except for our group so it was a little unfortunate for such a long wait. If you are hoping to start eating soon and are very hungry, I recommend not choosing to do that at Dave and Buster's. Food Tastes: I just got an order of buffalo chicken wings. The buffalo sauce was way too spicy! My friends remarked the same and I couldn't finish it all. The fries were all very salty it was also hard to eat. The rest of the group got the pastas, salads, and the cheeseburger combos. The truffle fries also turned out to be very salty for their liking, but the pastas and cheeseburgers were fine. Customer Service: Regardless of the taste and waits, the staff were all incredibly kind when they did get to check up on us. I appreciate their patience in handling a large number of people and for also answering questions about their happy hours, deals, and prices. They sure made it to five stars at this location. I took my son and nephew to play and decided to stay and have lunch. It did not disappoint. We ordered a few things to share and we enjoyed the food. The loaded fries was our most favorite followed by the smash sliders. I didn't like the food here before but now I'll come back and eat here anytime. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. This is my second time trying to eat at this location, and unfortunately, I experienced poor service again. My last visit was about four years ago, and I had hoped things would have improved -- but that does not seem to be the case. We waited 20 minutes just to have our drink order taken, and still have not received our food (been over 20 mins since we ordered and my drink is now empty) which consists only of wings and sliders from the appetizer menu. While sitting here, I overheard another customer complaining to a staff member that they had not received their food either. There were only about five other occupied tables at the time. I also noticed a table that had been seated for approximately 10 minutes without being helped, and I saw another guest get up and walk to the reception desk, likely to raise a concern. I understand that delays can happen when a restaurant is busy, but at the time it was relatively empty. Service -- along with food quality -- should be a top priority, as experiences like this can easily cause customers not to return. My boyfriend and I went last night, 2/13 around 9:45pm until about 12:30am. I can get over the several faulty games because it happens. But whoever was working the prize counter, was very rude. I work retail, I get working long hours and dealing with rude people. But this girl? Rude for no reason. She had glasses on & a bun. I won the claw machine game that allows you to win hundreds of tickets if you manage to scoop it up. I'm not a Dave and Busters fan fanatic nor do I spend my life there, so I wasn't sure how the process of receiving the tickets went. I knew we had to go over to the prize area where she proceeded to be rude and ultimately just had 0 customer service skills. I handed her the item and she started click clacking away on the keyboard without saying anything. I asked her if we had to spend the tickets right then and there, she told me no. A valid question for someone who quite literally doesn't work here and doesn't know how things go. Then she asked for our game card, and I thought she was going to have us spend whatever amount of tickets the card added up to + the tickets I won. AGAIN, I don't know how things work here because I DONT WORK HERE. I then tell her "oh but wait we're still playing!" She proceeds to put on the nastiest stank face and says "ok so you want to walk around with it then???" I'm surprised obviously because I didn't even know what she was doing, she didn't explain anything, I was nice the entire time because I can recognize that working this late SUCKS but ultimately IT IS YOUR JOB. Part of that job is having the bare minimum of CS skills. She could have said (1) "I'll need your card to add these tickets" (2) "if I don't add them you'll have to carry that" (3) "Ok let me add that to your card". She did everything BUT explain what she was doing, and then caught an attitude with me for being... CONFUSED. Should I bring my crystal ball with me next time I go? Or will you have the employee handbook out & ready for customers so we can read through it and avoid asking valid questions? I will always find the time to write a review. You don't need to radiate positivity and total kindness but you do need to recognize that you are not in the best part of Northridge. Yesterday it was me, tomorrow it'll be the wrong one. With that kind of attitude, maybe Waffle House is interested? Also, rapid fire. The food was flat out false advertisement. $30+ for a "platter" of 3 Hawaiian bread "sliders", 4 wings, and 5 FROZEN pretzel dogs. I mean, the jokes write themselves. I was livid. The picture does not show any Hawaiian bread, the sliders legitimately look like they'd be smaller than a typical burger, but not Hawaiian bread size! I took photos because it was truly embarrassing having to pay for that. An order of fries for maybe a handful and a half of some. Yall couldn't fill it appropriately? Overall, 0/5 stars. it's not so horrible but also not the best place to visit. i feel like the arcade games are limited-- there's always a few things broken. i love that there is a bar, but the bartenders aren't very friendly. in an environment that should be fun, i would expect more outgoing bartenders. i've noticed it takes a long time to get attended to and ive also felt a sense of attitude from them. also the ambiance of the loud noise and bright lighting doesn't make for a comfortable enjoyable time in the bar area. i would definitely think younger kids would enjoy this place. for me, the vibes feel a bit weird bc the sports bar energy and arcade with kids running around don't seem to mesh well. it's an overwhelming place read more

I rarely come here to this Dave and Busters. One of the reasons that I don't like coming is the lack of customer service by the waitresses and waiters. I have yet to experience a waitress or waiter to have a positive or enthusiastic demeanor when serving me. Always appeared to be in a hurry, not patient enough to be helpful, rarely smile, and not engaging. Some may ask, why do you still come back? Because my kids love playing games and always have a great experience. Now there was an event that broke the camel's back to finally give this place a review. This past Sunday, my kids went again. I grabbed a table like I always do. I ordered and appetizer with a drink from another waitress that showed no emotion and eagerness to make sure I had a positive experience. Routinely my kids would play and maybe in a half hour come the table and place a big order of food. Well my kids never came back in the time I thought I would. She checked on my twice and asked if I was going anything else the second time. I told her I am still waiting for my kids to come to the table. She had a poor demeanor when I answered. 15 minutes later, without asking, the waitress brings my check. Total was $20.08 as I recall. I place $25 on the table. Again, a negative demeanor coming from her. Less than 10 minutes later the waitress comes to my table and immediately walks away. I am use to having waitress and waiters telling me they would be back with the change. This usually the opportunity for a customer to tell them to keep the change or not answer because you want your change. The waitress walked by my table twice in a with ten minutes. It would been a third time if I did not flag her down. She acknowledged my request for my change. I almost waited another ten minutes for my change. I then requested the manager, as I told the manager that I been waiting for my change for almost 10 minutes, the waitress finally arrived. She handed me four $1 bills and a palm full of change. I began to place a tip on the table , when I realized had a bunch of pennies that could of given to me in quarters, dimes, and/or nickels. I interpreted this action as a passive aggressive response to not ordering additional food and/or asking for my $4.92 in change back. I will never, but I made sure the manager knew that his waitress was acting like a smart ass by giving me pennies as part my change. I would given her a $4.00 tip just because she working on a Sunday and an even $5 if she was at least have a positive demeanor, but I left her the pennies she gave me. As came onto Yelp to give this review, I noticed their low Star average. It appears they have issues. As I conclude this review, I going to give a review to the Dave and Busters located at the Westfield Mall in Arcadia. It will be a positive review because their staff have been great and have always left with a positive experience at that location. read more

An elevated play area is what I'd call this place.. haha.. able to make a reservation online which was super convenient for our larger party of 10+ first visit we sat near the bar tables, gave for a fun vibe with the TV's around and within view of the open game room. Food was better than I expected. We ordered a variety of apps: wings (rec lemon pepper), sliders, nachos, flatbread pizzas, mozzarella sticks. Should have purchased the game cards with waiter for a bit of a discount. Second visit was just as great. This time we ordered meals which were also pretty good. Just not what I expected from a game place. We were a large group again and seated in the room behind the hostess stand. We couldn't see the open game room from where we were but the kids were able to play and run around in the area if not not playing games- ultimately still had a good eye on them. Finally some manager or supervisor came up with an attitude and asked what we needed and then when I told him we needed cards he told us to order food to get card which has never been the order of things and then when I said we weren't interested in eating right now we wanted cards to play, He said "then go to a kiosk".
