If you plan on visiting, I definitely recommend taking a peek at their large menu online before you get there so you have an idea of what you want. They have a huge patio area with fun games to play for the entire family, which is a great touch. The inside is a bit small with only a few tables and a little area to order, but the outdoor space really makes up for it. The staff was amazing in guiding my family and me toward the best food options for what we were craving. I ended up ordering the B.T.S.A. sandwich, which was a lovely combination of toasted bread, mayo, avocado, spinach, bacon, and tomato. It was a well-balanced comfort meal that really filled me up. For the side, I chose the cucumber over the fruit and sprinkled a little salt on top, making it a perfect pairing. I enjoyed the whole meal with an iced tea and really look forward to trying it again. I would love to come back on the weekend if I can manage to find a parking spot!

I order the Ube matcha, but they were out! I learned that they make their ube in house and once it out for the day it's out. So my next choice was the banana matcha. I imagined a matcha with banana flavoring, but to my surprise the matcha contained actual banana in it. I was a bit caught off guard, not complaining though, of its thick consistency for a matcha. It was definitely tasty though. The next time I went back I opted for their cafe de olla, hot (only served on the weekends). The cafe de olla was delicious! I had it black and it was perfect. I wasn't sure what to order, but after trying their fresh-made ube cold foam (which I don't usually even like), I was sold. I got a vanilla latte with ube cold foam, and it was so good. It's also a great quiet spot to get work done. Just note they close early at 4 PM and can be easy to miss, look for the window sign. Definitely worth stopping by.

We've got been here several times and I really enjoy the Loco Moco, but I have resigned myself from knowing that I will never get my eggs cooked correctly. It's eggs over hot rice and covered with hot gravy. Suggesting to barely cook the eggs on the grill and then but on rice and let the hot rice and gravy finish cooking the eggs. Just saying. Even on the avocado toast the eggs came out overcooked. I mention this, hoping that someone from the restaurant will read this and talk to the chef. I REALLY do like the food and I can deal with overcooked eggs but it would be better if they cooked the eggs as ordered or just don't ask anymore how to cook the eggs because they all come out the same. I asked my table neighbor if their eggs came out how they ordered and they said no but because it tastes good like me they don't say anything. I know the place gets really busy and I do enjoy coming because the vibe is good. The coffee and other drinks are good too. I will return because it's worth it and I enjoy coming . I just had to vent a little about the eggs. It really is a wonderful place to spend time and enjoy the food and drinks. For 8:30 am on a Saturday morning, this place was quite busy and the flow of customers did not stop the entire time we were there. There was plenty of parking in front and to the side of the cafe, as it is at the end of the strip mall. The display case of baked good intrigued me and I was divided between the Banana Bread and another item but after asking the cashier, he also suggested the Banana Bread. Since it was my first visit, I tend to purchase a bit more to enjoy later as I am unsure if I'll get the chance to stop by again. Banana Bread (pass) $5.75 When trying the Banana Bread later that afternoon, it was dry and not very delicious. We bake better Banana Bread at home, so it was not worth the $5.75. Kevin's Breakfast Sando w/ country potatoes $14.95 Grilled sourdough, prosciutto, pesto, garlic, mayo, provolone, arugula, and fried egg w/ tots, country potatoes, fries, or side salad From the Yelp reviews, I knew I had to try Kevin's Breakfast Sando and I ordered it with Country Potatoes, but the Country Potatoes do not include onions or bell peppers. It's like a "take" on country potatoes but not exactly country potatoes. I still enjoyed them nonetheless as country potatoes are my go to, but no one would also ever go wrong with tots! The Sando was delicious, but a bit tad salty for me, but I would most definitely order it again. 12 oz Black Eye $5 2 shots of espresso in drip coffee Since I am not normally awake this early on a weekend, I was needing caffeine more than ever, and I was very pleased to see Black Eye on the menu. I do not often, if ever, order Black Eye so I had to ask the cashier what it was and when they said it was espresso in coffee, I was sold! All the food and drinks were served on/in disposable containers, which from reviews, it seems like they started doing that since covid and have continued to do so. Service is interesting but overall nothing to complain about. One orders at the counter and they call your order for you to pick-up but with the acoustics in the restaurant, one may not hear their order being called. Sometimes an employee would bring a drink or so around to the customer if they did not hear their order being called, which was nice because it could get quite noisy on the inside. This is most definitely a family-oriented restaurant and I love see people of all ages enjoy time together, especially over breakfast. I love breakfast food, it just brings a sense of peace as we begin our day and what better way than to enjoy the food and company!

From the moment you first walk in to when you leave every staff member there is extremely helpful and friendly. They provide great service and help answer any questions. Now the food. The food here is so bomb. I have tried multiple meals here but my all time favorite is the pulled pork benedict which is always delicious and flavorful. You have to try the twisted potatoes. My favorite is the cheddar cheese or blue cheese with bacon on them. They are cheesy and delicious. They always have good drinks here as well. I always enjoy the mimosa flight. They always have a seasonal menu which is always pretty good as well. This past month they had banana foster french toast and I wish this was a permanent menu item. It is so good especially with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. They also have delicious cinnamon rolls and bread pudding as well. I can't wait to come back and have some brunch again. The place is definitely…read morepopular and the atmosphere is nice, especially if you can get patio seating, which I thought had a much better overall vibe than sitting inside. But the food itself was kind of hit or miss for me. I ordered the OG breakfast with bacon, eggs, potatoes, and toast. The potatoes were pretty soft and not very crispy, and the bacon was also on the soft side with quite a bit of fat still on it. The eggs, even though they say they aren't powdered, kind of had that soft, watery texture that reminded me of powdered eggs. Nothing terrible, just not really what I was expecting for the price. A few days earlier I tried the chorizo breakfast burrito and honestly liked that better. I think everything mixed together in the burrito worked better flavor-wise and texture-wise. Service was also kind of average. The servers were friendly and did check on us, but they seemed a little overloaded and stretched thin trying to do too many things at once. On a previous visit, service was a little slow and we had to ask for coffee a few times. One small thing that oddly kind of took away from the experience was the ketchup situation. They use tiny ketchup packets instead of bottles, so if you actually want ketchup for your potatoes or eggs you end up opening a bunch of little packets just to get enough on your plate. It just felt a little strange considering they have full-size Tabasco bottles on the tables. The bigger issue for me was the value. For two people, breakfast came out to around $42 before drinks, and the portions weren't especially large. Compared to somewhere like Black Bear Diner where you can split a huge chicken fried steak breakfast and still spend significantly less even with coffee, it just didn't feel worth the price to me. I'm not saying the place is bad, some menu items are probably better than others, but based on what I ordered, I thought it was a little overpriced for food that was mostly just okay, and kinf of bland (no salt or flavor). My advice would be to choose carefully off the menu.

Most of the time, everything is great, but lately, I've noticed it can be a bit of a hit or miss--I either have a wonderful experience or a really tough one. Why I keep coming back: Their food is genuinely delicious. They have really good sandwiches and so many great options if you're hungry. Also, a little insider tip: if you're feeling under the weather and want something better than a Starbucks Medicine Ball, order the Remedy Tea. It is so soothing and I highly recommend it! My recent experience: On my last visit, things felt a bit off. The staff seemed really rushed--they actually started making our drinks while we were still in the middle of ordering. Because of the rush, they missed my milk modification and the drink ended up being way too sweet, to the point where I couldn't really drink it. What saddened me most was that the cashier was pretty rude and dismissive toward us. We actually felt so uncomfortable that we didn't even want to ask for a remake, so we just headed out. I truly love the menu here and the vibe when it's "on," but I really hope the service gets back to that friendly, welcoming energy I fell in love with.
