That didn't really make sense to me for such a standard service and felt more like an upsell than actual value. I'm all for paying a fair price for good work, but for something as routine as an oil change, I expected pricing to be at least competitive with a dealership...not significantly higher. Earlier in the year I had an issue where my car started to overheat as I left the shop and they came to my home and brought coolant and were able to drive it back to the shop and diagnose the issue and fix it. They were willing to reimburse me if I had to get a rental car, but luckily were able to figure out the cause that same day. Jose is always very helpful and easy to talk to. He's dropped me off home a couple of times from the shop. Gabriel is very direct and transparent about pricing. They are very on top of what they do. I recently had them replace the ball joints on my vehicle and they got my vehicle back to me during the time they quoted me.

I took my truck in to diagnose for an ac evaporator failure. There vacuum test pass so then they…read morerefilled my Freon and sent me on my way. I paid for the Freon gas that had a fluorescent dye in case it leaks the next day. The next day my refrigerant was empty again and I took it back and they found the leak behind my dashboard. Which meant the whole dashboard needed to be taken off to replace the AC evaporator. They gave me their bid and a turnaround time of about a week since they wanted to make sure the job was done correctly. On top of that they found that my brake pads needed to be replaced which i let them replace. Overall I didn't go with them for the ac evaporator job since I found another shop that was cheaper and gave me a faster turn around time, however I felt that they were honest and genuinely tried to help me. Nothing bad to say about this shop.

We went driving around to see what shops we found. Im really big on vibes and so when i spoke to a few mechanics I didn't feel comfortable with them. I wanted a place that wasnt overly expensive but that did a great job. After stopping at a few shops we saw this one and stopped. My first impression was 50's vibe lol Its like a small historic museum with a lot of retro items. The person I spoke to came across as a "no bs" type of guy. I heard him talking to the person in front of me and although I was a bit intimidated I felt that he would be honest and felt a good vibe. He was very professional. The communication was excellent. Service was quick. And they explained what needed to be done in a way I understood. The receipt they give is very detailed which I loved. I have since got a new car but if i ever need a mechanic, i would come here!

Realistic recommendations with fair pricing but more importantly he didn't try to upsell or create a sense of urgency for something that we all knew wasn't yet at that point. Which is what most other auto shops fail to realize -- how much this pisses off potential customers more than anything. I found Francis through an online search because of the many positive reviews, and during our first interaction he was friendly, professional, and seemed very knowledgeable. He ordered the part directly from Acura and quoted me a fair price. My car was ready the following day, but when I arrived to pick it up, Francis informed me that my vehicle had been involved in an accident while in his care. He explained that another driver had been speeding through the parking lot and crashed into him. He gave me the other driver's information, and I contacted him immediately. The other driver gave a very different version of events. He stated that he was backing out of a parking space and did not see Francis. He also told me that Francis provided his driver's license information but refused to share insurance information. Now, more than a month later, I still have a damaged vehicle and have not received insurance information from Francis despite multiple phone calls, text messages, and outreach from Mercury Insurance. I trusted this shop to take care of my car, not return it to me in worse condition and leave me responsible for a $500 deductible. What has been most disappointing is the lack of accountability and urgency. Francis acted as though this situation was not a major concern and repeatedly assured me that the other driver would "take care of it," which has not happened. According to the other driver, Francis even asked him to change the story about what happened. I chose this business because of its strong reviews and the image Francis presents, but my experience has been extremely stressful and disappointing. I believe customers deserve honesty, transparency, and responsibility when their vehicle is in someone else's care.

Thankfully, while we were on our way to buy the part, Mr. Veraj called us to let us know we actually only needed a simple connector which cost us less than $25 instead. He then lowered the cost of his labor he'd quoted since it would be a simpler fix as well. He was very friendly, helpful and fair. We would definitely recommend him to friends and family. The shop is also conveniently located just a block from downtown Fullerton. Lots of parking and space for the tow truck to drop off a vehicle.

They took the time to explain the repair, confirmed the diagnostic code, and even pointed out a few things I should do to help my Prius last longer. They noticed my hybrid battery cooling fan was missing after I told them I just had it "replaced" at another shop. That's the kind of information you don't usually get from a repair shop. They ended up not needing to drop the subframe, so they adjusted the labor instead of charging me for work they didn't have to do. It still took the amount of time they said it was going to take, but still discounted me a little bit which I thought was cool. I also had them do an oil change while it was there, and even that was less expensive than what I normally pay at places like Jiffy Lube or Valvoline. If you own a Prius or any hybrid, I'd definitely recommend checking them out. More than anything, I left feeling like they genuinely know these cars and took the time to educate me, not just fix it. I'll definitely be bringing my Prius back if I ever need anything else.
