OK this place is just opened up right down the street from us and we have tried it out 3 different times. We tried the hottest down to the mild and I have to say they are very inconsistent with the flavoring. Example: My Daughter ordered Mild one day and then decided try Hot. She said that hot tasted just like the mild and then the 3rd time she asked for the Medium and it was spicier than the Hot. I ordered the Reaper and there was so much spice you could even taste the chicken. Its like its doused in the spice and not properly flavored. Overall decent chicken sandwich depending on who prepares your sandwich i guess. I think they just layer the spice thicker as you go up which is in my opinion not a true spicy sandwich. Fries are off the chain and delicious however the cole slaw is very bland. Staff is super friendly and fast but we probably going to stick with Chick Fil A. read more

I got the tendie and sandwich combo on mild mode with a coke zero and extra daves sauce. They added honey packets which honestly was so good drizzled over the chicken. Dave's sauce it's just another sauce on the list of sauces better than the overrated canes sauce. I drove here listening back to Billie Eilish's debut album and man what a stark, potent record that is. My husband and I decided to try this place since we were over on that side of town and not near another place we get hot chicken from. We decided Dave's is better than the other place. We both got the 2 sliders with fries. I LOVE pickles so was excited to see pickles on the slider and extra on the side. Fries were good and had the perfect amount of seasoning for us both. I'm not usually a coleslaw kind of person but this was okay. Chicken was nice and juicy. I got the mild and it was just flavorful not spicy. My husband got 1 hot and 1 medium he liked them both. We love that you can pick different levels of spice. They included a dipping sauce which was nice for the fries but they were okay if you ate the fries plain too. Just got a chance to try Dave's this week and we weren't disappointed. The moment we entered, all the staff greeted us and they all were very enthusiastic and kind. Dave's is also one of the few spots that have HALAL hot chicken which is nice for a change and you can tell it makes a difference because the spot was packed! We had their sliders with fries and tenders and nothing disappointed. All the chicken was cooked to perfection and the mild option was the perfect amount of spice - beware: if you pick hot or extra hot you better be prepared! I ordered to-go and the order was accurate. The staff was nice and welcoming. The food however was very sub-par. The only good thing I can say about the chicken was that it was moist. Other than that, there was zero flavor. I ordered a slider + tender combo, and an additional tender, with hot on the combo and extra hot on the additional tender. There was no spice to it and it had no flavor. The chicken was just coated in powder and you can taste the dryness from the powder. The fries were okay and the sauce tasted like bottled thousand island... The Mac and cheese was dry and flavorless as well. I was extremely disappointed and won't be back. There's way better hot chicken in the dfw area and you don't need to waste your money at Dave's. Nothing less than phenomenal. To start, Justin was our host for our first time enjoying this establishment, and he made sure we knew what was on the menu while explaining fast and concise. Big pieces of chicken that were very well seasoned. It was a ton of food. The sliders seems like the size of a small chicken sandwich as opposed to a slider. The kale slaw was very good and necessary part of the "slider". I wasn't a fan of just tender as I rather get the sliders . The fries were typical fries and sauce was fine for the slider. read more
