Different fast food restaurant with some good hot chicken as the name suggests. I got a slider with a chicken tenders, slider is really good sized and had cole slaw and pickles on it to boot! Chicken has an interesting dry rub of some sort on it that I really enjoyed. Fries were crispy and went well with my entrees. My gf got chicken nuggets version of their chicken which she enjoyed. Nice interior and room with outdoor seating as well. If you like chicken sandwiches and related options for lunch give them a try!

We've heard about DHC for years, and it's great to finally enjoy it in Toledo. With wonderfully trippy graffiti on the walls, an open seating area, and surprisingly friendly and happy staff, the vibes are legit - as is the food! We'll try mild next time, because everything above, while delicious, is too hot to enjoy more than a few bites. And if you're not familiar, this type of chicken's heat is cumulative. You think you're fine a few bites in, and then some point, you start to fear for your life. My only complaint is around the chaos of the ordering area. Food comes out inconsistently slow, seems to prioritize to-go over in-house, and with incredibly spicy food, the serve-yourself drink station is super busy. Because it's right in the mix of everyone waiting for their food, it's a little chaotic, and makes it hard to hear order numbers. Overall, a great experience, and totally recommend if you're an animal eater, looking for a spicy change to your typical fast casual.

It was big news when I saw on Instagram that Dave's hot chicken opens their new location in Toledo. DHC is definitely my favorite chicken spot in LA. However this location wait time was much longer. I understand that it just opened so they are trying to settle in. I really that they are able to keep up with that quality to the ones on CA. I would prefer DHC over any other chicken place any day. The only point I want them to work on is their wait time because we waited over 30 mins outside til we got to order.

Very good hot chicken sliders and tender and chicken bites. I ordered one in medium, another in hot and chicken bites in extra hot spiced levels. Delicious, tender juicy chicken with appropriate seasoning. Kale slaw was a great addition to the chicken slider. The restaurant is very clean. Service was prompt and friendly. Highly recommended when hot chicken sandwich is what you are looking for.

Staff was friendly. My first time here and I tried the 10 piece hot with Mac and cheese. Heat was there but I'll go with the mild next time for some flavor. Bites are better with honey which was a great suggestion from the staff. Dave's sauce is good. Pickles are good.

So good! Wanted to try something new, their chicken is unique and delicious . The Cole slaw is also absolutely bomb, one of a kind. Fries are delicious. Mac n cheese reminds me of KFC- not bad, not great. Zero complaints here!

Dave's Hot Chicken #3 Medium Spice. Contains a slider, tender, sliced bread, pickles, and Dave's sauce.

My first review in a while so yalla. When I first heard that Dave's Hot Chicken was opening a location in Toledo I was ecstatic. My family and I normally go to the location in Dearborn Heights, so the convenience of a Toledo location makes the experience of going to Dave's a whole lot easier. I ordered a #3--A slider and a tender, served with sliced bread, pickles, fries, and Dave's glorious and delicious sauce. The sauce is on point. The chicken is well seasoned and very crispy. The fries were well seasoned, and the pickles were a nice crunch to my already crunchy chicken. The decor is that of any standards Dave's location, which is appreciated. The service was good-- fast and friendly. Good to know that Dave's Hot Chicken is hiring good people to serve their customers. Overall, I give Dave's Hot Chicken five stars and will be returning soon.

Really cute place. Reeper needs a signature for reason! It's that hot! I think their food is full of flavor and worth the trip. Staff is super friendly as well... I do recommend!

The food was good. The customer service was excellent. The ambiance was amazing. The staff was very friendly. A very nice greeter would go around and make sure everything was going well during my experience.

The menu goes beyond the basic…read moreshawarma/hummus/falafel things to include offerings like braised lamb shanks, yogurt kibbe, a huge selection of meat and cheese pies, besides a number of "Americanized" choices. The chicken shawarma is excellent, nicely seared but still juicy. Salads have been very good, with strongly (but not too strongly) lemony dressings, Falafels are crisp on the outside, a little soggier than I'd like on the inside--not that that stopped me from scarfing them down! Hummus is about as good as you'll find. Good as the food is, the service can be a bit slow. The market side is small, doesn't have a huge selection, but still a solid representation of mediterranean cooking basics (and seriously...just how many brands of tahini do you need???). And it's clean! A very economical olive bar and well-stocked meat case are musts for a visit here. In the latter, you'll find a little bit of beef, a little bit of chicken, a little bit of goat, but a whole lotta lamb, everything from tongues to trotters, at far below supermarket prices. While I like to sample a variety of places, Muna is taking away my incentive to explore other middle eastern restaurants in Toledo. It's a pleasant rut to be stuck in.

Last person in our party was served almost 2 hours after we were seated. He boxed most of his food. We all did. People came and went and staff was wrapping up, we were all ready to leave. How is this ok to arrive anticipating a shared experience and leave paying a premium for carry out? We waited an hour for hummus. We were asked if we wanted appetizers served first, yes, which leaves the expectation that items would arrive timely and in order. One in our party asked for a drink on the house due to the unacceptable wait. And clarified "on the house" a second time. I felt like the acknowledgment was conciliatory and a show of good faith. I regret ordering a second drink based on that. When we got our bills, his drink was on the tab. Was there some disconnect? Plus an automatic 20% gratuity due to "large group" of 7 people. 20% is standard to me, but in this case doesn't help the cause of what might be assumed to be an overburdened server. And makes me think they feel it's the customer that's the problem for expecting anything remotely what the brand implies. The server was congenial initially, but avoided us the longer we waited for our food. No water refills, no updates. I don't blame her for not asking if we needed anything because what we needed was our food ....how uncomfortable....whatever was going on in the kitchen might be making her job miserable. 2 hours on a cozy patio enjoying decent food and drinks, yes. Waiting on food, not so much.
