2 meat platter with chicken and brisket, with coleslaw and beans.

Wonderful!!! Such a gem hidden in a shopping center. Went to NASA and stopped here after. Here's what we got! Kids: corn dog- huuuuuuge. Like can't finish it good. Kid 2: burger with cheese - Holy crap. I hate burgers (I know) but that was insane. 2 meat plate is better than 1 because for 2 more dollars you get another meat and 2 sides. Brisket and sausage on my plate- brisket was slightly dry but we got the leaner end so that is to be expected. **I shared this plate with my dad, and was stuffed.** Husband did 2 meat and got chicken - it was huge! Sides: Def do the green beans. Perfection. Great meal and great ambience. Super casual and divey.

Breaded pork tenderloin sandwich, with a couple of bites missing.

Oh my goodness was the food delicious at Dave's. I had the breaded pork tenderloin sandwich, which I have not found in Texas until now. Growing up in a state where this sandwich is king, I have been desperate to find one here. Now I have. As a matter of fact, it may have been the best one I have eaten ever. The meat was tender and juicy with a perfect amount of seasoning in the breading. One bite and I thought I was in heaven! My husband had the pulled pork sandwich and indicated it was delicious as well. The fries were crispy on the outside but tender inside and the serving was enough for 3 people. I like fresh brewed tea, but the gold peak fountain tea was an okay substitute. The desserts looked yummy.

They did not miss on loading up their large BBQ baked potato! Hot, tasty and delicious! To order was very easy and quick! Small quaint smokehouse with lots of decor! Definitely recommend trying Dave's Smokehouse!

First time getting the chicken fried steak plate and it was really good. Huge portions. I've had the pulled pork and brisket sandwiches and they were just as good.

My co worker was being nice and brought one of his favorite BBQ for us to try out. So I gave it a try. I ate it three hours later, so my okra was wet and soggy, but I like any kind of okra so I still ate it. The rib was two bones unseasoned and dry, sauce was definitely required. Brisket was the only thing I enjoyed. It was sliced and long. Sausage link was too many and not tasty to me. I didn't even eat the potato salad because of my experience thus far. Not knocking this place, but I've had better around town. Brownies were good and fudgie.

This place was the perfect example of good ol down home TEXAS BBQ and Market. Portions are HUGE and plentiful!!! Enjoyed everything about this place and even bought Smoked Boudin and put it on ice to take back to Georgia... Ohhhh Man!!! Wish I had a freezer FULL!!!!

Searching for the perfect hole in the wall que joint? Look no farther than Dave's! Mostly local clientele as far as I can tell by eavesdropping conversations around the restaurant. Went for the chopped brisket sandwich and cheesy Mac. Better than the Astros for sure.

Always a good little lunch sport for the Clear Lake area. I must admit I don't come here very often. I ordered a brisket sandwich with potato salad as a side. Overall it was a good sandwich with a decent amount of meat and bread ratio. I did put bbq sauce on top of the pickle and onion that comes included with it. The potato salad was pretty good tasting and filling. I'm glad I did not order any more or else I would most certainly gone into a food crash. My coworkers bought the all you can eat lunch plate and were extremely happy and content. What was even more surprising is that they let you take a to go box . I would give a tip to anybody in the area that anytime after 1130 is probably a little on the late side. This place will fill up and the order line gets a little backed up. I always didn't like the layout because the drink machine and cups and silverware is all next to register. So there's a lot of cutting through people. Wait times are all dependent on how busy they are. There is an attached meat market. I've gone there a few times and have been impressed with the quality of their meat. I will say sometimes in some cuts of meat you will pay for that...but that's life right!? Ha Hope it helps....

I used to come here all the time with an ex-boyfriend but haven't been back in years. I made the drive from Katy to Bacliff to pick up some vintage garden trellises, and at just two miles away, I immediately knew lunch had to be at T-Bone Tom's. One of my favorite things about this place is the absolutely massive outdoor seating area. It's covered, so normally it's a fantastic place to sit without roasting in direct sun, but after several days of heavy rain mixed with Houston humidity and temperatures around 90 degrees, there was absolutely no convincing anyone in my party that sitting outside for lunch was a good idea. Only my second time ever sitting indoors here. The place was already bustling by 11:30 and packed by noon, which tells you everything you need to know. We were greeted immediately when we arrived, and even though we came through the back entrance for patio seating, the hostess was cheerful and accompanied us to the dining room, where we were also immediately greeted by one of the indoor hostesses. Our server Joshua was excellent throughout the meal--friendly, attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and always on top of things. We started with drinks and boudin balls, which came with four and ranch dressing. I tend to go through phases of what I'm addicted to, and right now it's boudin balls. If it's on the menu, I'm ordering them. These were fried to perfection, hot, and delicious. A great appetizer to start the meal. While we waited to order our main course, there were two things our table seemed to rave about: giant drink glasses and crackers. It sounds silly, but not having to constantly wait around for refills makes a big difference. And crackers on the table? It seemed like memory lane for the older members of our party, who quite enjoy bits of nostalgia. So few restaurants bother doing little things like that anymore, so my lunch selection was awarding me kudos before the lunch even started! Mom and Mark split the 14 oz. ribeye with spinach and potato salad. Although splitting two sides might have been enough, Mom added a side of mashed potatoes for herself. It's always a toss up with restaurants and steak. True mediums aren't always a true medium--you have to order medium rare or medium well to get it just right. But the medium here is actually a medium. Mom kept talking about how delicious the steak was and said it was one of the best she's had in a long time. If you know my mom, compliments don't come easy. It's a big deal. Ha. I ordered the plate I always get: the Monterey chicken with fried okra and spinach. It may have been years since I was last here, but this dish is as excellent as it has always been, if not better. The chicken was incredibly tender, cooked perfectly, and covered with flavorful mushrooms and onions. I also really love that their vegetables are homemade rather than straight out of a freezer bag. The fried okra and fresh spinach were wonderful. Berta ordered the chopped beef sandwich with potato salad. They gave her so much beef, there was enough for two people to enjoy that plate. She ended up taking more than half home. We finished the meal with vanilla ice cream and their infamous bread pudding, which was warm, rich, and easily enough dessert for four people to share. Mom had ordered it for herself and said she didn't want to share, but when she saw how big the portion was, she asked Berta and I to join in. T-Bone Tom's is a popular place among locals and tourists alike. It offers great food, a fun atmosphere, friendly service, and remains one of those places that still feels uniquely Texas in the best possible way. We'll definitely be back, and much sooner this time!

A small one crawling on the wall near our table and someone from my party saw a larger one crawling near the kitchen. And boy was it stuffy in there. I asked our waitress if she could move a floor fan near for some relief and to detour the gnats, she said she go ask but she never came back and when she did she completely forgot my request. We weren't seated in the greater eating area where it was cooler and maybe where the gnats were less of a bother. The food was delicious and homemade, you can tell it was made with high quality ingredients and that Southern skill that you can only get from helping Grandma in the kitchen. BUT the roaches made us lose our appetite. Such a shame. It seemed like the building went down. They don't seem to put as much effort into the condition of that place as they do the food. Dusty ceiling fans and crummy floors. I appreciate the homey vibe but it looked really junky, more stuff piled in unoccupied corners as before. I gave a lot of things the side eye, I mean it there has to be maintained asthetic. They charged an 18% gratuity on my tab for a party of 8 but I arrived with 4 people, the other 4 had already been there, paid and was almost done with their meal. Then of course the cashier/waitress still mentioned an additional, optional tip. I didn't think that was fair. At the end of it all she wasn't the best waitress.

I said 'Wait!, this isn't right! Why is my food is OPEN and I am missing a lot of my order'....the delivery driver simply ran off shouting over her shoulder that she'd have her manager call me.
