Needed a quick replacement of our leaking water heater. Dave was very knowledgeable, providing easy to understand information to help us select the best water heater to meet our needs. I researched all the information I was given and everything Dave had said was accurate. There was no pressure selling, gave me the facts and then gave me the time to get more estimates. His labor cost was competitive, and he suggested a Bradford White Heater. Honestly, I had never heard of the company, but again after extensive research learnt that these units are very highly regarded for quality reliability and energy efficiency. After 18 years of service, we had to replace our home water heater and I couldn't be happier with the service I got from Dave's Water Heater Service. Hands down some of the best service I've had in a long time. I had a day where everything that could go wrong did and the way I started off that day was by waking up to no hot water. I knew I needed to get it fixed right away. When you call they have their technician text you for a time to get you scheduled in. After texting them we agreed on a time. He gave me a hour and another 10 min. Notice before coming over which was awesome! Another reason why I chose to use them was because of their reasonable prices I know anything getting done with plumbing wouldn't be cheap but they actually gave me a good price since the repair was only going to take less then a half hr. I moved into my house not too long ago, everything was great, until, the hot water heater broke. Made an appointment with these guys. When I called in the technician called me back and asked me to get some photos for him. Easy enough I texted over my photos of my water heater and he was able to give me an accurate quote just over text messages. I had originally gotten another estimate from Spartan Services to replace our water heater, but I was put off by the fact that they kept trying to upsell me on warranties BEFORE I even agreed to have them do any work!! So, I decided to try out Dave's. I called because I had no hot water, and after my boyfriend figured out that the gas was still on, I begrudgingly began calling around to different plumbing companies. I explained the situation over the phone, and the fact that money is very tight (of course after I had a bit of savings :()Dave was SUPER and EXCEPTIONALLY helpful, and understanding of my issues, and was able to get a plumber to come out few hours later to look at the problem, free of charge for the consultation! I already had a good feeling about it..the best I could at least ha. The plumber called me as promised a couple of hours later to say he'd be here in 20-30 minutes. He was very prompt, a few minutes early actually. I explained the problem, and he immediately diagnosed the issue, explaining everything (to someone - me - who knows nothing about this) in detail. I probably looked at him like he spoke another language LOL :) Unfortunately, I'll need a new water heater, as the problem I have will simply keep returning if I don't get one. The plumbing tech was wiling to schedule my service for the day after, but I had to decline, but only because I cannot afford a new water heater and they will not install a used one. That said, he offered to get the hot water on, but because the problem will likely occur again soon, it would have been a waste of the charge to get the hot water on again. He saved us the service charge by being upfront and honest with us about that, so now instead of feeling cheated, we can put that money towards the hot water heater replacement, which is what it really needs. Honestly is so rare these days.. Don't get me wrong, the price is certainly reasonable compared to many other plumbers I called. Some wanting nearly twice as much, but being on a fixed income, we simply can't afford a new hot water heater.:( Overall, prompt, courteous, and fair pricing. I called in on Friday afternoon and they were able to get out to me just a few hours later. They were out to my place by 6pm. I have had this water heater for awhile now. I had it professional installed and it's absolutely amazing. It always seems to have hot water available, and I do love my long hot showers. Travis was an amazing plumber who accommodated our every need. When we realized our hot water quit working we were feeling super worried. Thankfully, Travis offered to repair it. Travis stated he normally doesn't work on our brand of water heater, but thought he could get it fixed by replacing the pilot light. An easy and thankfully a relatively cheap fix. Travis said "even with replacing the pilot light, that there's still a chance that the water heater could go on since it's so old. He told us though to start saving money now so that he could replace it down the road and it wouldn't put us in a pinch. Travis was so considerate and caring in the situation! I've never met a more genuine company who cares about people rather than just making as much money as possible. He replaced the pilot light and our water heater has been working great ever since. Imagine your halfway through your shower and the water goes cold. I know this can be an exhilarating experience for some. But for me it sent me down the drain spiraling into despair. It was not an emergency situation ours was 15 years old and we knew nearing end of life. I called not expecting anyone until Monday but he was in the area so he came out that day. After arriving, he assessed the situation and said nothing would need to be done to bring it up to code so he quoted me a reasonable price and said he would be out on Monday to install. AWESOME company!! I found that my hot water heater was leaking all over the ground one morning. I called Dave's Water Heater Service and the lady who answered the phone helped walk me through how to shut off the water and gas. She asked if I could text message pictures over so that when the technician called back he could give me an exact quote. The technician called me about 15 minutes after I sent the photos over.
