IN ALL HONESTY! My first time here and I was extremely disappointed. I ordered a small pizza over the phone, but for the high price I did not expect it to be literally a personal pizza (for almost $10), and low quality at that. The menu did have lots of variety but you're better off at Little Caesars (you will come out way cheaper). However I hear their wings are ok, I will never return and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Just go to Pizza Hut, dominos or papa johns. Went for lunch and I ordered the chicken philly. It comes with only chicken, onions and cheese so don't forget to add green peppers and mushroom. This sandwich melted Right in my mouth. The bread was very fresh and soft and the chicken was seasoned very well. The only thing is the combo does not come with frys it comes with a drink. We visited daVido's today for lunch. I chose this place because of positive Yelp reviews. Thanks fellow Yelpers; the pizza was delicious! I was looking for a non-chain, cheesey, yummy pizza and I got it! We had the DaVido's special. The crust was crisp, not super thin and not thick; we ate in store and the pizza was fresh, hot, and delicious. Additionally, the young gal working the counter was delightful, kind, and thanked us several times for coming in. I don't live in the area but am in the area a few times a year. I would definitely come back again or even pick it up for dinner on the way to visit my family. I give it 4 stars only because I only tried one thing but next time I'd like to try their wings, too. Inside dining is available; they have 6 tables that would accommodate maybe 20-25 people total in-store. read more

I usually have a good experience but lately my orders have been mediocre at best. Skimpy cheese dry pizza

The pizza was not bad. The service was lousy. The older lady didn't care that they got my to go order completely wrong. I placed an order over the phone. The man I spoke to said that my pizza would be ready in 15 minutes. I got there 20 minutes after calling in my order. I got my order about 25 minutes after I arrived. So it took 45 minutes instead of 15 minutes for my initial order. When I pulled into my driveway, I live 2 miles away from restaurant, I noticed they gave me the wrong pizza. So I go back and gave them the old pizza. When I got there I was hoping to hear, we're sorry that we messed up your order and inconvenienced you mam. And hopefully we will do better next time. That's all I wanted to hear. by this time it was over an hour since I placed my order for a small pizza! She didn't care about me, the customer. All customers should be treated the same. In the customer service industry, the customer is the bread and butter and the reason why anyone in that industry has a job/business. Everyone should be treated with dignity and respect. And please don't mistreat someone because you don't like the way someone looks. Or you're the owner or management and you think it's ok to be arrogant and speak down to the customer. It's ok to say that you were wrong to the customer. It will make your business better. Nobody is perfect, only God. read more

My husband is a fan of Davido's but I prefer Mellow Mushroom. A week ago we decided to order pizza from Davido's and watch movies. We received poor customer service from beginning to end. Our experience was very unacceptable and we have decided not to return, have mentioned to our family and friends to take there business to Mellow Mushroom, and not to refer anyone there. Before we left the restaurant, the pizza appeared to be ok, but once home and ready to eat discovered the pizza was like a brick. After traveling 25 minutes from the restaurant, we go right back to speak to the manager/owner to receive a replacement. The owner had no concern, he was ok with the young lady's poor customer service, he didn't offer an apology but replaced the pizza. The attitude he took was unbelievable. I am still Wowed! We will not be returning and neither will our family or friends. BTW, the Lithonia location is way worse. They are out of control over there!!! These are some of the reasons black businesses don't last long. Very disappointed customer! read more

I used to enjoy going to this Davido's location until they hired new staff. The young (light skinned) girl that takes the orders clearly made an error, considering I order the same thing every time I call. I understand that people make mistakes but she proceeded to argue with me and told me that I made the mistake. When I insisted she ring the order up again, it rang up the amount she quoted over the phone, which means it was her mistake. When she realized that she was in error, she simply mumbled, rolled her eyes and did not apologize. While I was standing a customer brought his entire order back and insisted they replace it. I went there again and this same girl got the order wrong again, and when I corrected she rolled her eyes again and came back to the table with a surly attitude. To make matters worse she cannot make change without a calculator. She gave me too much money back, which I returned to her. Again, not a thank you - just attitude. My family and I spend a lot of money in Davido's but will now rethink our patronage. I have to be fair, however, by saying that the service at the Flakes Mill location is very professional. Unfortunately, the Covington location is more convenient to my home. And no, I did not complain to the manager because everybody working there seems like family members or personal friends. So why waste my time complaining. There are hundreds of restaurants that sale what they offer. I try hard to support our businesses but, again, they just don't seem to appreciate their customers. Davido's should rethink hiring young girls with attitude. I will never go back to this location and maybe just stop going there all together. read more
