I went to Davids Bridal to try on dresses in order to see which style etc I would like. When I first got there I was greeted very nicely at the door by someone who seemed to be a manager there, if not, she was awfully nice. My consultant met with me and asked me what I was looking for, and wrote it down. She then got me a slip (brought my own bra) and had me change in the little room. My bridesmaids were with me and waited for me to try on the first dress. I honestly did not like more than half of the dresses that she brought to me, I honestly felt like she was not listening to what I was telling her I was interested in. My bridesmaids decided to go and look for dresses for me, because they were at least listening to me. The consultant was helping another bride, but it towards the end of her appointment so I thought that maybe she would help me a little bit more, but NO. She would disappear for periods of time and leave me in a dress that I said I didnt like, therefore I had to wait for her to help me get out of the dress, well I had enough of waiting so I had my bridesmaids help me in and out of my dress mostly the whole appointment. The consultant seemed like she did not want to be there any longer and that she just wanted to go home. She was not very personable or talkative. She told me that I only had enough time to try on two more dresses, and it was a hour into my appointment. Wow! Fantastic service. I showed up on Good Friday expecting to be greeted with a 'Sorry, you don't have an appointment.' However, this was not the case! I have one week before my sons wedding. I have a backup plan dress but decided I wanted to see what I could find. The in house selection is vast and the variety is wide. Morgan was very hands on in helping me select and try on dresses. She was knowledgeable in style and colors. The cost varies and I was able to find the perfect last minute MOG dress for $150 total & walked out dress in hand one week before the big event! I will definitely keep this David's Bridal in mind for my next formal event. read more

I was nervous to go at first because I thought I wanted my dress to be special, as in nobody else would have it, and not just something anybody could order. I had been helped from the start, from getting situated, looking around and then trying on. Shannon helped me out and he was a sweetheart. He followed my vision the entire way, not bringing me things that I simply didn't ask for, only dresses he knew I would like. The last one was the one. Thank goodness. I will give 5 stars to Shannon because he was wonderful as well as Markisha, the manager because she was also incredibly helpful. 4 stars because the corset bra, the slip, the other few things that I didn't quite want at that SAME moment, as my wedding is almost a year away, were basically being pushed to sell which was irritating.. Just let me have a chance to find my own thing! Besides that, I felt very welcome to the store, so did my guests. Having a rush wedding, so needed a dress that fits me. Found a dress here in a size 4 that was set to arrive 10 days before my wedding. We made it clear there was no time for alterations. Dress that arrived was a size 10. They are clearly ordering bigger sizes to get the alteration income. This is a completely shady way of doing business. Anyway, was told by the manager that she would ship the size 4 to arrive Monday...it is now Thursday and it is still not here. Luckily I was able to find another dress at a different store that they are altering for a rush fee. Thanks for nothing, David's Bridal. For the record, I am not a fan of David's Bridal, but that is because I don't like the entire bridal/wedding industry. There is a lot of hysteria-creating, gender-role conforming, price-gouging, dress size-enlarging, bridezilla-faking, bridesmaid-shaming, blood diamond-wearing, etc...but then again, I have only had to deal with this 2x and not as an invested person. But, let me get back to why I gave this place 3-stars, which really is A-Ok to me (versus 2 or 1). One, a good friend of mine worked here last year. She encouraged me to check this DB out so she could help me, give me a discount and generally "hook-a-grad-student" up. She did and in the process I was generally surprised by the size of the place. It's pretty large. I was not prepared for the sheer number of bridal gowns that made me think, "Jesus Christ." I was not shopping for one, but I was amazed by the sea of white. There were also a number of bridesmaid's dresses (duh) but the the bridal gowns outnumbered everything. The dressing rooms are roomy too. And there is room to move around to shame yourself into dieting for the next however many months. The bathroom is up a short flight of stairs, which is odd to me. So, I go in this year hoping for a great deal on a bridesmaid's dress much like the deal I got last year. I looked online, I found the dress for $100 or less, I get in my car to go to the store to buy the dress. I meet Leah. Leah must speak bridesmaid. I didn't have to explain my budget. I didn't have to slog through a billion dresses. I showed her the printout of the dresses I was interested in and she said, "Unfortunately, the online store and the physical stores are pretty separate, but let me find something close for you." And by close, she meant inexpensive. And, overall, she was a great sport. She fitted me, gave me info on the size I should order if I ordered online, zipped me up: just an all-around good employee. I would definitely go back to this DB if the entire universe really dislikes me as much as it seems to lately. read more

I know David's gets a bad rap, but I had a great time working with them. I loved the dress I chose -- such a beautiful gown for only $450! I ordered it in a special order (they only had another shade in the store) and they made it clear I would be able to exchange it if the white version wasn't what I wanted. Well, it was, and I was very happy. Where I have the most praise though is for their alterations department! I worked with two women who both were very willing to make tweak after tweak to get the dress as close to "made for me" as possible. I don't know much about fitting bodices, but when I knew something wasn't quite "there," they worked with me to fix the problem and deal with my anxiety when the bust was suddenly too small (growth spurt or them taking the dress in too much on the first go? Who knows...it got fixed in the end!). Also, that corset-type bra thing that comes down to the waist? What a wonderful invention! Well worth the $80. Best undergarment I could find anywhere, even the high-end specialty stores. read more

No issues so far. I took my girls there on a Saturday to browse. They were very busy but we still had enough room to try on dresses. Each girl went back in on their own to order their dress with no issues to report. Best part of all, the dresses came in much earlier than the expected dates! They have a good assortment of dresses at fair prices. Comparable styles to J Crew. Watch for specials & sales! They will price match if a dress was purchased within 7 days. My only complaint would be they didn't carry every size of each style to try on. read more

I have heard so many mixed stories about David's Bridal. I had a particularly annoying experience as a bridesmaid in another state a long time ago. However since they have a huge selection, I thought it would be a great place to start. Right away, Kelly, our salesperson was amazing, helpful, and had great suggestions. She was super patient with my family and with all of my requirements that I wanted in THE dress. (and also very respectful of my price range) Kelly ran around to pick all the dresses I selected online and also threw a few she thought might work into the mix. As it turns out, THE dress was the 3rd or 4th that I tried on and after a 2nd longer visit with my sister and Kelly's help, I got to ring the little bell! The alterations department was super flexible, so I didn't have to take off from my 9-5, M-F job to get fitted and my dress looked great! read more

What a wonderful experience I had. My 3 year old niece, sister, parents and I went here this April to get her maid of honor dress. It was an off the rack dress because we came here so close to my wedding date. Luckily, we were able to find one in the color scheme of my choosing that could be altered. Every single employee here was so friendly and helpful. We were approached for assistance by at least three different people. Not a single person said they couldn't help us on such short notice. This really made me feel at ease because wedding planning is so stressful, especially when you put off experiences that you know will be unpleasant...such as trying to go mother of the bride shopping. The professionalism here is beyond top notch! No one scolded my niece when she was running around the whole back area and on the stage playing peek-a-boo. There weren't any clients in that area and everyone was all smiles. Once again, their professionalism is astounding. I say this due to the fact that my mother was being rude and starting to throw a tantrum right in front of someone who was being so kind trying to help us. This employee [I forgot her name :( ] was trying to make jokes to lighten the mood and she was so attentive. I apologized to her immediately in front of my rude mother who was still going on saying she didn't want to wear a dress and heels. My mother was complaining that David's Bridal hardly has any pantsuits. I completely disagree with my mother and I loved the mother of the bride dress/sweater combos. Alterations were a breeze. My sister had one fitting, a week before the wedding. This was our one shot to get it right (again, not on them for the time crunch). The rush fee was fine. Our seamstress completely listened to us saying it needed to be taken in a tiny bit extra. The dress fit perfectly and was completed on time. It didn't even look as if alternations were made! We actually got a discount on my sisters dress because they said it was missing a belt. We really appreciated their honesty as we had no idea that it came with a belt. It was funny due to the fact that my sister and I were talking about getting her a belt in that section when we were told it was missing one. They took a bit off of the price which was already on sale. That was really nice as this didn't make us feel like all they cared about was a sale. David's Bridal has sales throughout the year which assist in staying on budget. I recommend getting this started/done months in advance so you can order the dresses you would like ahead of time and have that stress gone! One of my best friends bought a bridesmaid gown at the location in Burbank, CA and described it as "where gowns go to die," so you could imagine that my expectations were a bit low for DB... "Boxes! They're just shoved in boxes!" Visions of bridal gown mills with confined, unsanitary conditions filled my head. This budget bride was fully prepared to encounter the saddest of ugly bridal gowns in her journey to find an elegant, nonbeaded dress that didn't break the bank. I went online the morning of (granted, it was a Monday), wrote down the style numbers of some of the dresses I was interested in, called the store, and got a 1pm appointment. The consultant told me that the standard appointment lasts for one hour and forty-five minutes; I told my sister we'd be back by 2:15 at the latest. I'd heard that DB designs were flawed in either one of two ways: either the material was supposedly cheap and the design was great, or the material was great and the design sucked, but I was curious since the gowns I was being shown at the $1500 range at all the other stores I'd been to were way too beaded and stuffy and...not me. I was beginning to wonder if I was really looking for a less pricey dress after all. I'd walked into a Torrance, CA store on the way home from work one day, only to be completely ignored by all the sales staff--not one person even said hi to me! Here, the girls were, in a word, awesome. In more, they were laid-back, understanding, receptive, funny, and incredibly helpful. Shonna was fantastic--she's actually getting married herself next month, and is the portrait of calm and collectedness! I loved loved loved the first gown she put me in. It was $480. The third had a completely different feel, but was also gorgeous--$500. Wha??? If you told me two weeks ago that this would be where I'd find my dress, I'd probably laugh and snort in your face. But I had so much freaking fun with Shonna and Araceli that I'd have given a great review even if I didn't find it here. I'm the kind of person that has a hard time making big purchases--I have to walk away for a bit just to clear my head and make sure I'm making the right decision--and Araceli was the first one to point out the two (badly-needed) Starbucks locations nearby. I left the store and came back, caffeinated, half an hour later, ready to get my gown! All in all, I think we spent about four hours there--totally atypical. Shonna was totally flexible and let me try on the dress again, for the 4,000th time, no problem. Ladies, if you can do it, go shopping on a workday--you'll thank yourself for it! I also purchased the dry cleaning program at 50% off, which I'm pretty excited about--where else are you going to get dry cleaning and preservation for $99? Maria helped me find my perfect, Vera Wang dress. I tried on at least 8 dresses in various styles...A line, mermaid, sheath, you name it. Whew! What a workout for both me and the consultant! They didn't have my size in the dress I ordered but I got a good idea of what it will look like on me when it arrives. I had such a hard time deciding between two dresses so the manager came over to help. Both ladies were patient and super sweet. Literally walking me through questions to get into my thought process and make a better decision. Who wouldn't want someone who took the time on such a special occasion? David's bridal isn't a super fancy top of the line Michigan Ave. type store but they made the day super fancy for me! It was a little more than I wanted to originally spend but so worth it!! I am also purchasing a MOH dress from this location for my best friend's wedding and they were great with locating and ordering a dress not in the store (available at Orland). Tip: Try to schedule your dress hunting during the week in the evening. The weekends are a mad house and you'll get more attention in a more relaxed environment. While I did end up buying a dress from this location, I was not at all helped by anyone. The only person who took care of me was Deandra when I was checking out but that's it. Other customers were tended to while employees walked right past me. For more context I am a teenager who might look like they won't spend much money, but as someone who has worked in customer service, I understand the importance of checking in on people and seeing if they need anything. It would have been helpful for at least one person to check on me, but that didn't happen. No one spoke to me when I entered the store or even checked if I needed anything while I was trying on me dress. The dresses are beautiful in this location, but for sure I won't be coming back due to this lack of service. Again Deandra was a nice employee who did help me checkout and buy the dress. I had a great experience at this location from the purchasing of the dress, tiara and veil to the alterations process. Last July I had found the dress I wanted at Aurora location. My family drove 1.5 hours to come see it before I made the decision. We got to Aurora and the dress was GONE. I was so frustrated because I had just tried the dress on 4 days before and the ladies knew I was coming back with family...and now it was gone because it was "discontinued" - they called Lombard and Todd said they had it. So we drove 30 minutes to the other location and I am SO GLAD WE DID! I had the best experience with Todd - he had the dress and everything ready to go when we got there. The alterations ladies (Eleni, Melinda, Angela, Mary) did an AMAZING job. They created beautiful straps for my blush/rosegold dress that matched perfectly. They all took the time to make sure it looked perfect and that I was happy with the way it looked. I am so excited to wear my dress on the big day. Word of advice for Operations at the Aurora store and other locations - before sending dresses back you may want to check the profiles of your upcoming appointments to make sure someone plans on trying on in the next few days - and if so, give a courtesy call to let them know. It was a stressful experience that could have been avoided. read more

You know, I wanted to dislike David's Bridal more than I actually do. I ordered a bridesmaid's dress here for a friend's wedding. I went three times--once with another bridesmaid so that we could report sash choices back to the bride, once to try on and order the dress, and finally to pick up the dress. The staff member that helped me all three times (I can't remember her name, unfortunately) was friendly, professional, and helpful. She wasn't overbearing and knew exactly when to leave me alone and when to step in and offer help. The actual ordering process went smoothly enough, though I know that another bridesmaid's sash was the wrong color upon pick-up. My dress and sash came in ahead of schedule. My only real complaints are that the dress has a sewn-in belt with a rhinestone clasp--one of the rhinestones was missing when I took the bag out of the dress--and that the sash was given to me with frayed strings. But for $75, I'm easy to please. Would I go to David's Bridal expecting luxury or the royal treatment? No. But I now know that I can expect prompt arrival and inexpensive dresses. read more

I am not a big shopper, I was excited to go try on dresses but nervous at the same time, I do not do good with shopping for a long period of time. The first time I went, I went by myself, I made an appointment. I do not remember the name of the lady that helped me, I had logged a few dresses I liked from the DB website and gave her the numbers and she brought me my dresses. She kept saying how is was such a good idea to come by myself. She was kind of annoying. Anyway anytime she would put me in a dress, when we were done she would undo me but leave me in the dress to wear i would be holding it up, so she could go get another dress, thankfully the manager kept coming by to pin me up so i could stop standing there like an idoit, I was not happy when i left there My 2nd visit with Ashley (who no longer works there) Was great, It was a last minute thing me and one of my bridesmaids decided to do since we were together and our plans got changed on us. Got in just fine with no appointment, Ashley took it upon herself after asking me questions about what i want and what i like and what i have already tried on and brought me a few dresses she thought i may like. Well she was right, I found one I loved!!!!! Needless to say I bought it! A few months later brought all the girls in for their dresses and got that all done, everyone there was helpful and friendly, Minus my first visit where I had them note I did not want that lady again! I don't know why anyone had a bad experience here! Honestly, I went twice and the women were lovely, helpful and made my visits amazing. It's a great starting point if you don't know what style you want. You can try on dresses quickly and in a variety of shapes and sizes. I purchased from this David's because I had the best experience at this Boutique (and I visited several high end boutiques) and they had the price and style I wanted. If you are looking for $5,000 dress, than David's Bridal is not for you. But if you are looking for a $500-$1500 budget then I highly recommend making an appointment. Online was easiest for me. I went to the Lombard IL location on September 19th to check out a wedding short dress I found in the online website. I wanted to see and feel the dress in person and perhaps try out a size. My mom and I were greeted promptly and checked in. I was impress with the attentiveness of the staff. I didn't have an appointment and yet they were still very accommodating. I was told that an assigned stylist will be with me in a moment and I could start shopping around while I wait. I was quite impress with the cleanliness of the boutique. At first I thought why are the dresses in plastic? That's when my stylist came and said "to keep the dresses always nice and white." Jacqueline was my stylist. She was fabulous the minute she introduced herself . She was very attentive, courteous, professional and was a very good listener. I showed her the dress I like online. She said they don't carry it in the store but she will definitely help me find my right size. We fitted a dress similar material to the dress I like. After doing that she took my measurements and were able to pick the perfect size wedding dress for me. She even helped me order it online. She also helped me complete my whole look by getting a few Russian Tool to choose from, which I did. Jacqueline was so sweet. To top this all off, I didn't know after you find and choose your wedding dress that there's a tradition you will need to do.... That tradition brought tears to my eyes... What is it? You might just need to find out for yourself my future brides By the way I almost forgot the prices are wonderfully affordable as well. AMAZING SERVICE!!!!!!!!!! Shannon was my consultant and he was so great! From the moment I walked into David's Bridal I was greeted very nicely by Bridget, I think her name was and Shannon immediately attended me, even though I was early for my appointment. He thought about everything I was telling him with my low budget and what i was envisioning. To top it off, my wedding is in two weeks! They were all so patient and accommodating when I was staying in dresses really analyzing them. Even the Store Manager came in and helped me change out of dresses. I said YES to my DRESS! My daughter was with me and she was crying for a piece of gum because she had saw some in her aunts purse, that happened to be empty. Shannon and the store manager went above and beyond and found her some gum to make sure she stayed happy so mommy could find her dress. I had a great experience! It's crazy to see all of this nice reviews on here. I've had the worst experience at the Schaumburg location as well as Naperville and Lombard. My worst so far has been Lombard. I had all my Bridesmaids order their dress from here. I went to pick up one dress from the Lombard location the other day. I walked in and saw an employee with a customer. Waited a few minutes to see if she'd say anything. Walked back and forth and looked around a little. Few more minutes went by and I walked around the store to see if anyone else was working. Couldn't find anyone. So I walked back up front to see if the employee would say anything to me and she didn't. So I asked her if anyone else was working. And she said 'um yeah what do you need?' Well I've been here for 15 minutes and no one has even acknowledged me yet. 'I need to pick up a dress.' She said she'd get someone. I didn't say anything. Bc at that point I was mad. She then said, Rudely ' did you hear me? I told you someone was coming' I said I did hear you, but I have nothing to say to you since you didn't have anything to say to me.' Granted, I shouldn't have been that way, but once you give me shitty customer service I'll give it right back. She then went back to the customer she was working with and was talking about me, because they both looked at me and she gave me a dirty look. TEN MINUTES LATER someone came out, who then got a phone call and didn't bother to put it in hold. STAYED ON THE PHONE the whole time, and then after he hung up he proceeded to help me. Another lady brought me the dress who was very nice, but everyone else was HORRIBLE! I HATE THAT I FOUND A DRESS AT DAVIDS BRIDAL BECAUSE THEY ARE THE WORST. read more

I'm only giving a star because I wasn't charged extra for an extra alteration. I bought my dress which was a decent experience, except I pretty much had my mind set on the dress from looking online. Fast forward, I did a payment plan. Paid on time each time. After my final payment they said they would call or email me when my dress got in. 1 month goes by no call no email, I call still not in. Another month goes by no call no email, I call, they say it's not in. Now a 3rd month goes by I call again. They tell me it's been sitting in their store and I had two days to come get it or they were sending it back. Uhhh what?! I go to pick up my dress (which they had the balls to call me the day I said I'd pick it up) and ask where I was. Fast forward to the alterations, I had lost a bit of weight, the woman placed the pins so it would fit like a glove (Mind you I came in the time they told me was enough time before the wedding). They told me the dress would be ready 2 weeks before my wedding.. ok. Fine. At least it's 2 weeks and not 1. And it cost 600$ to alter. So my "final fitting" appointment two weeks before my wedding, I come in, put my dress on and it's still loose everywhere, like they didn't even do anything except sew the cups into the dress. So they say they will alter it again at no charge to me and have my dress ready by next week (a week before my wedding). Fine, stressful but fine. Next week I come back in, fits better in my hips but still doesn't fit my bust at all. At this point there's no time to alter any more (my wedding was out of town). So I spent an extra 600$ for my wedding dress to not fit me properly. I don't complain often but this from beginning to end was a horrible experience. BUYERS BEWARE. read more

I've never been a fan of David's Bridal but the most recent wedding I am standing up in on 10/20/12 has me involved with them. My dress was ordered, came in, received an email as well as a phone call when it did and that went smoothly. Decent price too. I had to order dyeable shoes. I placed that order in the Lombard location. I was told by the sales lady that they would be in by 10/1/12 and dyed as soon as possible. The whole month of October I've been wondering if or when my shoes will come in. Now due to being sick for two weeks, I was unable to make calls. 10/15/12 I call the Lombard location and the lady checks and I give her all my information and she says yes the cranberry ones. (not my color!) This was a slip of the tongue, she put me on hold and then comes back and says, "They've been here since 10/1/12; they are ready to go." Why wasn't I called?! Poor customer service on your part David's Bridal. read more

I've been to this David's twice, once to get my wedding dress and once to try on dresses for my maid of honor. We were assisted by Jackie both times, and she was awesome both times. I felt like I was shopping with a friend - there wasn't a lot of pressure to buy right then and there. She was especially helpful when I was looking for my bridal gown. The only downside during the two visits was that, during the first visit, my mother and I ended up waiting about 25 minutes after our scheduled appointment start time before someone was available to help us. When I called Bridget, the manager, later, she apologized and said that should not have happened. Overall, I think Jackie is awesome, and I enjoyed the variety and styles of the dresses. I didn't actually go in, but my terrible phone conversation was enough. I was looking at places to try on dresses with my bridesmaids for my upcoming wedding. Since there are different David's Bridal locations I wanted to make sure they had the dresses I needed my bridesmaids to try on. I called to see if they had the style number and a very rude lady answered the phone. It appeared my call was very annoying to her. I asked if they had certain styles and the lady on the phone stated "haven't you just come in to look" ... what?. I told her I was calling to see if they HAD the dress so I DIDNT have to drive there for no reason. So she transferred me to another department. I waited on the line for 10 minutes before ANOTHER rude lady answered the phone. She too seemed annoyed that I would call and ask her to provide customer service instead of traveling down myself to do her job... how dare I... anyway, I had a few dresses I wanted to inquire about. She asked for the style number which I provided her. When I went to give her the other style number she interrupted me in the most annoyed voice and said, "I'm sorry we can only look up two dresses. Feel free to come in if you have more though." What?! I feel like they didn't grasp the concept that I didn't want to waste a trip unless they had the dresses I wanted my bridesmaids to try on. She clearly just didn't feel like doing her job and made up a "company policy" At this point I realized you can't argue with.... ignorant.... so I said thank you and I called the Aurora store (who looked up 5 dresses for me by the way) and was very pleased with the customer service. Since David's Bridal has other locations I wouldn't make this your first stop. read more

Our stylist, Felicia, was the BEST! (Lombard location) Her vivacious personality and willingness to help made for an awesome experience. Felicia even managed to save us money by keeping us under our budget. Her keen eye for detail helped amp the dress to the next level. Felicia was awesome, and we are grateful. :) read more

I went in to simply try on wedding dresses, and look around. We are told we needed an appointment, so we agreed to wait an hour and a half to have a sales associate be assigned to us. When we showed back up at our appointment time, we found our appointed associate to be busy. No big deal. We get to trying on different dresses, here's where the issue comes in. I ask for a different style / size in a couple dresses, for my associate to take the dresses away, but never come back with another. By the second dress, the sales associate was no longer interested in helping me, but the other bride, who had a different associate helping her. So, now I'm left stranded having the people that came with me help me with trying on dresses. I felt ignored, as well as, disrespected. I would NEVER buy from this shop, for the mere reason of how I was treated or better yet, not treated. If I could leave a negative star, I would. read more

Sitting in the parking lot after purchasing a dress and just had to write this review before I left. I made a last minute appointment today for a dress for an event on Saturday- calling it super close! Maria helped me find a dress that was cheaper and more beautiful than I expected to end up with. I didn't even give her a budget, she outright picked so many beautiful and cost effective options. The entire appointment was low stress, accommodating, and she really helped me feel awesome. I went in planning on just trying dresses to see what I liked, but walked out having purchased my dress! Maria was so amazingly helpful and really helped me narrow down what I was looking for. She was so knowledgeable and offered suggestions and reassurance for every "what if" that I had. read more

When I got there they greeted me nicely and seemed very attentive. Once i met my consultant things went down hill. She would not listen to my price range nor even my style of dress, did not even get close. What was worse for me was being left in the fitting room for 30-45 minutes because like she said "well I am helping 3 other woman" after 45 minutes waiting and the wrong dress again, my FIANCE went out and picked out 1 dress (my style suggestion) and I fell in love with it. The ONLY reason I am giving this a 3 not a 1 is because the alterations department woman was extremely helpful and nice. I sadly forgot her name but she was middle age Russian woman, she was just wonderful and I could not be more thankful. read more

Let me start by saying I had such an awful experience when it came to buying my dress. I would have wrote a one star rating. The lady was barely present I had to find my own dresses in my own sizes. Once I found the dress I was told the belt and dress I wanted both came in true white. That was a lie. I had to wait 20 mins standing their like a fool waiting for the lady to come back and take write the number down for my dress and belt, half way through my bridesmaid appointment, still hanging on to my wedding gown and belt, a manager finally came over and asked if everything was ok. Who knew your suppose to ring a bell and make a wish when you find your dress!?!?! BUT THEN I GOT TO ALTERATIONS. As I had already mentioned, me dress could come white but not my belt. This is where I met Sue. She said they could put a white ribbon on and turn my belt into a white one to match the dress. It gets better, the lady was not only sweet and kind to me but she treated me with respect. Since getting my dress was a nightmare to which I summed up very briefly without details above, this woman actually made me enjoy my experience. I've had a lot of experience with delivering customer service and when someone goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and wanted, you write about it. Once I returned to try my dress on again, after all the alterations were done to it, I was once again treated with the same wonderful treatment as before. Sue is a great asset to David's Bridal and the only reason this review got a four instead of a one. (I still take off a star for the way not only myself but my mother, flower girl's, their mother, and Bridesmaids were treated when we went for our dress appointments.) I hope they realize what a great employee they have. If you ever need your alterations done at David's Bridal, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SUE! read more

I have never been more impressed with a store helper than I was with Anna VT!!! She was so patient with my opinions bouncing everywhere. She gave me so many options as my thoughts changed from style to style. She not only helped me stay within my budget but even helped me as I was in and out of different sized dresses.
