The space also has a bit of a bakery/café vibe, making it feel like a place where you could stop in for a quick grab-and-go item or stay awhile for a full meal. The staff made a great impression too. The people at the front were incredibly helpful to my guest, who was having some trouble with their phone. I also ordered one of the specialty drinks but asked for it without alcohol. The bartender absolutely nailed it--it was so good that my only complaint was that it didn't come in a bigger glass. For food, I had the grass-fed burger and fries (see photo), and it exceeded my expectations. The burger was so juicy and flavorful that I ended up cutting it into pieces just to make it manageable. Every bite was delicious. What I appreciate most is that I left feeling like I hadn't even experienced everything the restaurant has to offer. Well, thanks to The Tavern we had it all. :) On a beautiful Wednesday evening we came here for dinner and sat on their patio. It has been quite some time since we have dined here. The view was stunning since we had the perfect seats to watch the sunset. I honestly could've stayed here forever. Our server Megan was friendly and kind. We both started off with a few drinks. I had their Sparkling Pear Martini which was good. We were both starving so we ordered our main dishes and skipped the apps. I had their Grilled Swordfish and my husband had their Baked Scallops. Both were fresh and hot, but mine was a bit overcooked. I did mention this to our server and she kindly apologized. The vegetables that came with it since I substituted the rice for Carrots were delish, flavorful and healthy.
