The Long Beach/Island Park area is flooded with Pizzerias. DaVinci's, fortunately, stands out amongst the top two. DaVinci's Pizza is the perfect combination of cheese, sauce, and dough. Their toppings are fresh and well distributed. My favs include peppers, mushroom, meatballs, and olives - not all at once. If you really want to over indulge, get their fully-loaded specialty pie that has everything on it. It is absolutely amazing! I'm not a fan of pepperoni or sausage, but on this pie, amongst all the veggies, it really works! Aside from pizza, there is an amazing sandwich they offer that has been on my order for over 3 years - the Chicken, Mozzarella and broccoli rabe on a garlic bun. They call it a panini, but it doesn't resemble any panini I've ever had. It's more a gourmet sandwich. Ask for balsamic vinaigrette to dip your sandwich in for a great burst of tangy flavor. You will not go wrong with their pasta menu as well - everything from the spaghetti & meatballs to something called Gabriella. My only wish would be fresh, handmade pasta. I am so disappointed that I have to write this review. I was on team DaVinci's for so long- defended them to all who said they preferred other pizza delivery options. Tonight, I had the worst experience. I ordered a panini that came with broccoli rabe as per the menu, only to have it arrive with lettuce and tomato. I also received a salad with no dressing. Stopped in to visit a friend last night with my mother last night. We had cappuccinos and a tartufo. The cappuccinos were light and airy and the tartufo was fresh covered in the most delicious chocolate. The atmosphere is friendly, cozy, and classy. The sauce on this dish?? Phenomenal! Let me tell you, that it was the best sauce I've had in a very very long time!!! I took off a star because they weren't attentive to physical customers in the shop. I waited about 3.5 minutes, possibly 4, just to order one slice. Aside from that and the ant walking by my slice as I chowed down, I would recommend this place. Now for the slice, some sort of Sicilian vodka fusion that was awesome. The crust was golden and surprisingly fluffy considering the thinness of the slice. I'm not big on vodka sauce, but the pair with traditional marinara was a nice touch. You get a hint of the vodka sauce to give the flavor, but it's not overly creamy for your slice. I'll be back in summer when I hit up the beach!! read more

This place was so charming. After getting us a table, the owner gave us several suggestions of what to order. My husband and I both got things he suggested and they were great! (Chicken Isabella and chicken rotallini? It's chicken wrapped in prosciutto and it was awesome) the wine was so reasonably priced and went so well the food. Also the bread they give you is some sort of garlic bread with toppings, I have no idea what it was but it was INCREDIBLE. I could've eaten just that. There was also a man singing live, which added to the super Italian charm. The owner came over several times to see how we were doing, how we were liking things, and the waitress was just as attentive. PLUS it was the owners birthday and we got free cake (which was SOOO good) which was just so nice. Like its my birthday here everyone have cake. So charming. The whole experience was awesome. Went to DaVinci's on Wed afternoon with my Mom after a Yelp recommendation. We were early for dinner (4ish) and I was a bit apprehensive when the restaurant lights were low and no one was in there. We were warmly greeted by Celso and I am so happy we stayed to dine. DaVinci's is Delicious. We ordered a seafood salad. The calamari, shrimp, clams were fresh and delicious and the vinaigrette was amazing! I ordered the veal saltimbocca and mom ordered shrimp parmigiana. The pasta was al dente, the sauce was very flavorful and my veal was tender. The sauce with mushrooms on the saltimbocca was divine. The shrimps were large, very good and the portions were perfect (enough for a small doggy bag). I come here for break every so often and i have to say everytime i come its clean like the floor was just mopped kind of clean.....the gentleman that works the counter is a nice guy not to smiley but still kind. The pizza they serve is pretty tasty and not bad at all from plain to the bbq chicken ranch..im not a big chicken roll kinda guy so for me they didnt make my day but they werent too bad. We love DaVinci's even before we moved (I swear we didn't move around the corner just for the pizza)! Now we live in Island Park and every time people visit they ask us to order the Grandma Vodka pizza. It's absolutely delicious. They always deliver fast and the pizza is always consistent. The food is always good from here but terrible service when ordering for pickup. My boyfriend and I don't order much when we order for pick up they tell us 15-20 min and Its never ready. This is the 3rd they have done this if it was only 5-10 min more I had to wait for my food I wouldn't mind but over an hour, this is ridiculous. When we get there they tell us it will only be a few minutes. A few minutes to an hour is a huge difference. Seems like they care more about delivery orders first than pickup. Guess I'll have to start ordering for delivery then maybe i will get way better service but who knows. Very disappointed. read more

Let me start by. Me and my family decided to eat here , we were nearby shopping. The decor is beautiful. We had 5 appetizers and 5 main courses. The portions were huge. We we took them home for another meal tomorrow. Everything was amazing. Absolutely delicious. I felt very safe with COVID All servers had on there masks and tables were over 6 feet apart.
