This visit the order can out undercooked and cold...I paid before I complained, but when I did, was told by the wait staff that: well, sometimes the cheese doesn't melt. I'm from out of state, stayed at a local hotel. Saw this business on yelp, did little research. Totally impressed with all the fundraisers this local business does for kids and the community. Then I looked at the menu and had to come try for myself. I called from the hotel 30 minutes before they close. They offered to take my order over the phone and had my food ready when I arrived. The restaurant reminds me of my favorite home town tavern, except spotless. The decor is tasteful well lit and relaxing. The staff was incredible friendly, I felt like I was home with friends. I ordered the Philly and a small masterpiece pizza. The Philly had great flavor, the meat was lean and tender. The bread was crunchy and toasted perfect. Still the best pizza in Frankfort, Lexington, and for sure Georgetown, but for a Saturday night, they are way short on help. Table hasn't been cleared. Still waiting on check. And this is really peculiar... they have no knives!!! Been at least a year without knives. We really enjoyed this pizza! I'm not a big pizza eater - I don't stray toward it when I'm hungry but will eat it if it's there. This pizza is definitely up there on the flavor factor. We also had the garlic knots (which were just ok), the buffalo wings (pretty good) and the salads were AWESOME! This is one of our Go-to pizza places in Frankfort, and for good reason. They have been here forever. The pizza is constantly good. The crust has just the right amount of chew to it. The ratio of sauce to everything else is perfect, something that alot of places get wrong. I just started the Keto diet and wanted to try the cauliflower pizza that everyone says is so good. My coworker mentioned DaVinci's had them so we decided to go after work. Cauliflower pizzas here only come in one size 10". We looked over the menu and once the waitress arrived back with our drinks we ordered. I ordered the DaVinci's Special on cauliflower crust. My pizza arrived shortly and it was just at room temperature with not much cheese on it compared to my co workers pizza which was steamy hot. I went ahead and proceeded to eat it anyway, I was hungry and didn't want to be there very long. The pizza itself was good and tasty with the cauliflower crust which was a thin crust. We asked for boxes for the rest of our pizzas and checks. I was surprised to see that there was a $3 up charge added for the Cauliflower crust. Didn't see this anywhere listed on the menu nor was it mentioned by our waitress. All in all, I'm not sure that I will pay $15 for a 10" cauliflower pizza again. I'm from St Louis and we have a variety of styles that I like, Chicago, New York, Artisan Firewood and this place here in Frankfort is some of the best pizza I have ever eaten! Their crust is perfect. A thin hand tossed , crispy, but not like a St Louis crust which a lot of people claim is a cracker crust. The sauce was delicious and they put more meat on there than any pizza I have ever had! Outstanding job Davinci's!! Plus they have a drive thru. Amazing customer service! I walked in on a Monday pouring down rain and was greeted and thanked for coming in. They only had one person serving as they had a no show and let me tell you Tanya was amazing. They were busy but she was attentive and talking to every customer and that didn't slow her down at all. The triple pepperoni is the best pepperoni pizza I have ever had. The pepperoni didn't just touch but looked like scales. I took the family to try DaVinci's and noticed they had a large group in the middle but nothing too busy since they had a table (4) and large booth available. We sat, waited on the staff for about 10 minutes, then went up to get our own menus. After deciding what everyone wanted (another 15 minutes), we called for the waitress several times without being acknowledged. At this point, another group of 3 entered, sat at an available table and the waitress that passed us by several times(even after us verbally calling for her) acknowledged them and went to get them menus.
