We ordered 2 signature salads from Davinci's for lunch. The salad is normally large so the container of dressing doesn't go far. I ordered one extra which you must pay additional fee for. I didn't receive the extra dressing that I paid for and the other salad didn't receive any dressing. My grilled chicken was cut to less than pinky fingernail size, so therefore I probably received about 1/4 cup of chicken on the $12.00 salad. They advised to come back up if we wanted to pick up the dressing. read more

Do yourself a favor and try the pepperoni bread! We have had the Philly calzone and the Davinci special pizza. The cheese bread is also great with a butter sauce. Great ingredients. My son and I love this pizza restaurant. The pizza is amazing with generous portions of ingredients. The dough reminds me of real New York pizza and the cheese quality is great. We are new to Frankfort and have been looking for a good pizza place. Based on all of the positive reviews about the food, we decided to give it a try. They did not disappoint! We had the garlic knots, a pizza, and a calzone, and everything was delicious! Given some of the reviews regarding service, we went in expecting a long wait for service and food, but that was not the case at all! The place was pretty full with only a couple of empty tables, and all the places at the bar were taken. We were greeted right away, our food order was taken in a timely manner, and we didn't wait long for our food. Our excellent waitress, Casey, anticipated our needs and checked on us just enough to be there whenever we needed something! Finally made it back in the evening to order off the menu. I really enjoyed the lunch buffet and dinner did not disappoint. The extensive menu provided something for everyone. I was with a party of six and each of us tried something different. I tried the chicken bacon sub sandwich. It was great. Served hot off the grill, it was huge. I could only eat half of it. The homemade potato chips were also really good. My friends who ordered the small pizzas were impressed. Again, piping hot right out of the oven with quality toppings. The Philly Cheese Steak was also highly recommended. The hometown atmosphere is a definite draw. All of the servers are great. Visiting city for Bourbon trail, wanted pizza. Some them on Yelp and tried. Both pizzas we ordered were awesome.

Ordered through Grubhub. Never showed. They called me saying order was sitting there for hour and half. Only issue with that is I never had direct contact. They got my phone through grubhub, so one of them (grubhub or DaVincis) messed it up. A can speak for food quality because it never showed. Just know might not be best. read more

I've had their pizza and it is very good. Decided to try a few other menu items -Parmesan Chicken, house salad and garlic knots. The Parmesan chicken came with spaghetti, marinara sauce and mozzarella. I've never had Parmesan chicken in which the chicken is cut up chicken tenders. Weird and very little of it. Spaghetti WAY over cooked to almost mush consistency. The marinara was ok. Melted mozzarella disguises how little chicken is the dish. House salad is a fresh lettuce mixture with 2 red onion rings, a smattering of chopped tomatoes and croutons. Hard to mess up. Tasted good. Garlic knots are I assume made from the pizza dough. Garlic definitely not what you taste when eating. Most prominent taste is salt. The butter in the bottom of the basket is orange. They are also ok. I think going forward I will stick to the pizza. Haven't tried the cheesecake yet but for the price, it's a tiny sliver. Overall disappointing meal. read more

Simply asked for no onions on my pizza and it was flooded with onions... maybe it had something to do with my email saying it be ready for pick up at 8:18pm , I get there and it wasn't even started so I had to get out of the drive thru line and wait at the front of the establishment for another 20 mins then to find out it was an onion fest I jus said for get it and went home... I have tried a variety of things here and it has always been good! From the Fettuccine to the garlic knots you can't go wrong! My favorite pizza is the Greek because not many other pizza joints make this type of pizza and if they do, it certainly isn't as good! I'm also a fan of their chicken bacon ranch and Hawaiian pizza. Yes, I'm "one of those" that loves pineapple on their pizza. They put banana peppers with it which is a nice twist! They have a vast selection of pizzas that I have yet to try, but look forward to doing so! The prices are very fair for the quality of food you are getting. As far as "pizza style" goes, I would call it "kiddie style." Tastes like Chuck E Cheese pizza. Sauce is very salty. Not much tomato taste. Crust is under-risen and underdone. They use conveyor ovens (sigh.) Cheese is good quality. First visit I got the Davinci special. Too many veggies and they were not cooked enough. I don't want my veggies to "crunch" when I eat them on pizza. Veggies also looked like they came chopped in a bag. Veggies also seeped their water into the crust making it soggy or "gooey." Second visit we went with plain pepperoni. Super salty. We sat at the bar. Waitress told us our ticket got lost and that's why our pizza was taking so long. We also heard her tell another table the same thing, so... Is it the ticketing system or our waitress? Restaurant is small but service is overwhelmed. Beers are served unopened and you have to pour it yourself. Why do people who know (or care) so little about good pizza open pizza joints? read more

I like the food, but I've eaten here 4-5 times and all but once I've had issues with the service. Mainly very slow. Slow to notice you are there, slow to get your order, no refills. This happens when crowded or not crowded. Now, I realize this can happen anywhere, but at almost every time I'm here there's a consistent problem. It's so frustrating. If you like to fight for food on a buffet that can be wiped out by a table of five, be packed in like a sardine, and can't even order their own Davinci special pizza as an alternative because they don't have all of the ingredients then this place is for you. I will choose to spend my future dollars elsewhere. I ended up with spaghetti which wasn't horrible but not much above average. It might have been better if I had gotten the garlic bread before I was more than halfway finished. So food gets 2.5 stars, the experience gets -1.5 stars for a total of one star, barely. read more
