The tomato sauce, like many reviews have noted, is more like a marinara than a salsa. It works really well with this particular dish. At first, digging into it, I didn't think much. But when I scooped the potatoes, which absorb a lot of the flavor and fat of the cheese, and piled on some of the tender, otherwise somewhat underseasoned but nicely charred carne asada, the flavors melded in absolutely heaven! The carne asada managed to be juicy and tender, despite being finely chopped. Again, this shepard's pie type of dish really takes advantage of mixing together all the finely chopped ingredients. I highly recommend getting this if you're going to visit! The lime wedge and salsas feel essential too. I don't know how I feel about packaged salsas - the green and dark sauce were both delicious and maybe packaging it seals the freshness. But I guess if they're going for ultra fast prep and scale it makes sense. The dark sauce is smokey, like a less sweet and deeper version of mole. The choco chip and almond cookie is also excellent. It's very sweet, and the edges caramelize and are crispy due to the amount of sugar. But it's a decently balanced cookie and loved the almonds in it.

The restaurant has a cute seating area and you order at kiosks before seating and bussing your own table. Arrived a bit after 1PM on a Saturday and there were only a few other parties seated with most of the tables available. Vampiro: So I quite liked the crunch the tortilla got / maintained even with the very generous mountain of meat piled on top of it. Unfortunately, I just wasn't that big of a fan of the meat itself; it was very tender, but I want almost a smoky crust on my carne asada and this was diced so finely that it optimized for a overly soft texture. Their red sauce also felt underseasoned / a little watery.
