Ten years ago, we had a major rodent infestation in our home (attic, subfloor and walls). These…read moreguys came out, sealed our home, cleaned the attic and subfloor areas, re-insulated and did not consider the job complete until there was no more evidence of the infestation. For the last 10 years, we have been rodent free. Recently we had major plumbing work done and some of the sealing work may have been compromised. We called The Original Rodent Proofers to come out and look at the prior job and tell us what needs to be done to re-seal the house. The inspector (Brandon) said that the plumbing contractor did a good job re-sealing but would look at each entry point and make sure that the job from ten years ago was still in good shape. This is being done at no charge since they stand by their work. These guys are a 5 star business.

They were…read morecompetitive, not the cheapest, but Shannon Lee sold me on their work, along with Brandon (owner's) call to check in and answer any questions. Their warranty on work done was another key factor. An electrician found a dead rat and droppings in the attic, so I needed clean up and rodent proofing. In the crawl space, a bunch of the ducts were unattached by wear and tear and plumbing work that had been done in the past (which I didn't know. No wonder my gas bill was so high over the winter!). Shannon and team cleaned everything up, sanitized, reattached the ducts and rodent proofed the whole house on the outside. Apparently the attic was vulnerable, as prior owners' foam had been chewed through in the eaves. After they were done they set traps which will be checked every few weeks. I will update if there are any further rodents but I am confident in the work by the company and team. I highly recommend this family owned company.

It is a large square footage single story on a very large lot in Tracy, so we had been seeing our fair share of spiders, earwigs--the usual suspects. We were previously with a different pest control company in town at our prior home, and while they did a good job, their rates year over year would consistently rise to the point where it wasn't feasible. I found Pro Active Pest Control on Yelp and immediately noticed their exceptional rating with lots of reviews. When calling, I spoke with Raymond who walked me through their services and was able to quote me right over the phone. Their pricing was extremely competitive and Raymond had me scheduled for service within the next day. The technicians arrived within the timeframe they said they would and gave a courtesy call that they were 20 minutes out. They were cordial, took the time to review the property and a few spider "hot spots" and immediately got to work. If I had one minor gripe, it was that we anticipated to have our interior treated as well on this initial service visit; but it wasn't communicated that we (pets and humans) would need to be out of the house for about ~2 hours after the interior service was completed in order for them to do it. That unfortunately didn't make sense for us that day, but they said to just call them at any point to schedule the interior treatment when it made for sense for our schedule. All in all, very accommodating, great price, and while we're only 24 hours in, I have yet to see any critters that we were getting pretty frequently around the property, so I feel great about becoming a Pro Active customer!
