The cashier greeted me kindly and was very patient and helped me identify the pastries I wanted. There was an enticing display of donuts with many different kinds - sprinkled, glazed, sugar, maple, twist, etc! I ordered a small box of a variety of donuts and donut holes for a very affordable price. I received so many compliments when I brought the donuts for my team breakfast. My team praised the fluffiness and level of sweetness and were extremely satisfied. The donuts were not too sweet like how I've experienced at other donut shops. Daybreak Donuts & Ice Cream was a family favorite and my daughter was exceptionally fond of their breakfast sandwiches. Unfortunately, the quality in taste has declined, prices have increased, and you're getting less for that extra bit of money you are paying. WompWompWomp. The plaza looks and feels a bit ghetto/small/with a liquor store down a few doors/coffee & tea place/service salon/etc., but the tiny donut shop is worth stopping by, especially early in the mornings. There's table booths inside. Very clean and organized. Cambodian lady cashier was so nice, friendly & welcoming. She is experienced in this business. You really get service here for your order. Not only do they have plenty of donuts to choose from, but breakfast sandwiches are great and they do have regular juice beverages. Nice. Add your own condiments to coffee by the window area. Not much foot traffic and you can hear the peaceful silence all around after 8am on a Monday morning. Cashier has a happy smile and high energy. Love it. Old donut shop hasn't lost its traditional touch for business. I had a delicious and generous portion size of the all-everything breakfast sandwich $8.75/on soft croissant. Yes, ham+bacon+cheese+sausage. Very good fulfilling size. I was stuffed. I ordered the dozen donut holes under $4. Medium hot chocolate too. Nice cup. In addition, I saw the $7 orange pineapple iced beverage topped with cream, so I ordered it too. Convenient, very good size, and not bad at all. I had a great experience coming into DayBreak Donuts. We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon to grab some coffee and snacks. Right away we were greeted and welcomed in. The service here is fast and friendly. When we were going to order our coffees, they told us that they ran out, but the owner overheard and said she would make a new batch of Vietnamese coffee for us. That alone right there was worth the 5 stars. It's so rare to see such great customer service. The Vietnamese coffee's had a nice bold flavor with just the right amount of sweetness that wasn't too overwhelming. I also ordered the breakfast croissant sandwich that hit the spot. The cheese was melted right onto the egg & sausage and the croissant was really soft and buttery. The donuts are made daily and did not disappoint. They are located in a small plaza and parking is limited, but shouldn't be a problem since that area doesn't look too busy. I would recommend any one in the area to try this donut shop. read more

Another neighbor doughnut shop. They have the standard cake and yeast doughnuts. For the regular doughnuts I give them a 3 . But the reason I go is for the stuffed doughnut holes. I grew up with YumYum donuts but stumbled upon Daybreak Donuts on Yelp and oh boy have I been missing out!! I don't get too many different flavors when it comes to donuts as I personally just love sugar coated (rings or twisted), maple glaze and donut holes; unless I'm feeling adventurous. Apple Fritter - a bit smaller than most places, but it was crispy and filled with apple pieces. Service was great and quick. Customer service is a little different, but maybe because I don't know them yet but donuts taste great and have a little bit more options now. I always loved coming to Daybreak when I was attending to the high school nearby here. I was actually worried that they would be closed during the pandemic. I actually came here ok the weekend when they were going to close and they actually offered a free donut as well. That was so sweet of them. I got a dozen and all of their donuts are so fluffy and fresh. When it comes to pricing, it's definitely worth the price and it is a bit cheaper than other places. It's a wrap for this donut joint. Been going here for more than 15 years. Recipe definitely changed with the new owner. All I taste is oil with every bite and the donuts aren't fluffy. Croissant sandwich was also a huge let down, it only had one piece of bacon that was cut in half. The croissants weren't buttery or flakey, everything was just off about it. Donuts are totally my guilty pleasure and I love trying different donut places/shops/joints (especially after a bad day or terrible morning!). The unexpected treats people speak of in reviews (Google & Yelp) that Daybreak Donuts selflessly gives is totally unheard of!! POSITIVES: ooohh my goodness, the donuts are so soft and fluffy and how can anyone forget the surprise treats?! NEGATIVES (-1 star): The donuts did leave me with a grainy and slightly bitter after taste (I don't know if this is the usual since this was my first visit). I was left disappointed when I asked for a recommendation (because usually in my experience, shops have their #1 or their most popular product). Some of the donuts are similarly priced to other shops (such as the regular donuts and twists) but others are pricier than other shops (such as the apple fritter and donut holes). It was close to closing time for Daybreak and I thought I'd try a few of their donuts, thinking they'd be stale and with a small selection. I was correct about it being a small amount to choose from, but they were all high quality. Nothing like Top Pot back in Seattle. The donuts there are dense and flavorful. These donuts from Daybreak was like eating tasty pockets of air -- so light, so beautiful. Even their white frosted sprinkled donuts were light. No grease came spilling out. This is a place where donuts are done right. Get there at opening for maximum choice. Or, you can be like me and be happy with what you can get at close to closing time. Carrie and her family has amazing customer service and at times throw in an extra few donut holes to our order! Early fishing dayz they are open by 5 am and you can call advance and they will start making your breakfast sandwich.
