The best thing about this Hotel is the Staff & their customer service ! They are authentic, and very warm & welcoming. They recognized we had a special event (the USMC 250th Birthday) from the moment our group walked in, to the moment we left everything was 5 star service ! We asked for some advice for local restaurants or things to do? They were spot on with their sage, local advice. The Hotel is unique with its accommodating and charming lobby with a fireplace and community table that provides a warm, relaxing atmosphere. Thank you to Kinga & Maggie the managers. I really enjoyed our stay! Booking was easy with the Hilton platform. Check-in was digital/contactless. The host was personable and helpful with my questions. Easy to park near the room and short walk to the parking slots. The pool was near our room. This is a smaller hotel. Very convenient to downtown Gettysburg and local shopping/eateries. Quiet. Onsite restaurant is small; the hostess was personable and the food was excellent. Great for a couple or small family, although a reunion was on-site during our stay. Very clean and everything in working order. I decided on a hotel since the B&Bs/Inns were booked, and I am very happy with our choice! Highly recommend and will return. I don't stay at this chain often. A little more expensive than I would like to pay. The room was nice and big and clean. T.v. didn't work when we got there and we got no support for fixing it. They also don't have a C.B.S. affiliate in Gettysburg apparently. Mattresses were worn out and needed replacing. Also due to the property layout, parking is not too great. read more

We arrived during the start of an ice storm and hoped for an early check-in. While I understand hotels charge a fee for early arrival, we were told there would be a fee even though we were only an hour early. We chose not to pay and instead drove around and grabbed appetizers at a local restaurant while waiting for the standard check-in time. It would have been nice if an exception could be made under these circumstances, but I understand the hotel's policy. After our first night, the beds were made, which I normally appreciate, but unfortunately the housekeeping job was poor (see attached photos). Which made me wonder how clean was the room? The rooms feel slightly outdated. Breakfast is offered at a fairly high cost, which is notable since many hotels include it in the room rate. Free coffee is available, which is a plus, but on the first morning it ran out and my husband had to ask for more. When he returned for a second cup, it was out again, and he did not bother asking a second time. Overall, while the hotel has some conveniences and the rate was good, the experience wasn't quite up to par. That said, we would stay here again if the rate is right. read more

We spend one night here while visiting the area. The hotel was nice. The lobby was large and spacious and had a lounge area and a restaurant area that they use for breakfast in the morning. The room was fine, but it did feel a little dated. The location was a little hard to find because its off the main road, but when you see the hotel and the sign, there's no driveway; you have to turn and drive to the shopping center behind the hotel, then there's a turnoff from that that goes to the hotel. Anyway, our stay was good. I have to say though that I was disappointed with the breakfast - we usually stay in Hampton Inns, which have free breakfasts. This hotel, although of similar quality, charges you for breakfast and it isnt cheap. As a result, we went to the Starbucks a little down the road instead. Overall, our stay was good and I would stay here again. read more

Staff was very friendly when we checked in , gave us. A list of recomended restaurants and stuff to do and see. Also provided a map of the area too. Now I do like to pick my own restaurants. Always give the not listed ones a chance, they can surprise you. The rooms are very nice and clean .The bathroom is very nice too , has a bathtub and shower. Defiently recommend this hotel , it has a awesome grocery store and gas station behind it. Only thing is you have to drive to town. Still worth it. Provides soap , a nice bath sponge for you and coffee is nicely stocked for you. Frigerator and microwave is also provided. read more

A very nice hotel just outside historic Gettysburg. The rooms are clean and the staff is helpful. When we arrived, we were put in a non-smoking room, as requested, but when we walked in, it was more than clear that someone had been smoking cigarettes in there. We called down to the front desk and they changed our room immediately. We had some issues with the WiFi, which was a little inconvenient, but it wasn't a huge deal. We would stay here again. read more

Conveniently located next not far from the battlefield. My wife and I decided to stay after spending over six hours there. Hotel is well-kept and clean. Our Queen room was very nice and large! There was a slight smell of a bologna sandwich? But dissipated. We had dinner and drinks at the restaurant bar. It was terrific. The only down check was in the laundry room. There was a sign noting that both the washer and the dryer had 30 minute cycle times. It was true for the washer; however, the dryer was 45 minutes. Very happy about that as 30 minutes to close still were damp. read more

GPS as Natural Springs Rd and turn at the Arby's as you can't get to the hotel from York Rd and will end up in a bank parking lot with no way out to the hotel. Turn only at the traffic light! Hilton's Clean Stay policy at this hotel includes that they only do daily housekeeping upon request. I'm sure this has to do with staffing shortages as well as COVID concerns. However, they gladly provide you what you need to replenish and will send housekeeping up to clean if you ask for it early in the day. The breakfast was simple and prepared to order with choice of eggs, meats, omelettes, pancakes, etc. Served to your table politely. Very inexpensive, but not free unless you have an HH perk. Our room was well-maintained, comfortable, and clean. Lot of available parking, but hotel was far from busy. Front desk was helpful and friendly. read more

Restaurant and bar in the lobby, fitness center and pool, clean, quiet, comfortable. The property is located a mile or so away from downtown Gettysburg and the tourist areas. That's a good thing. Overall a nice comfortable hotel. Great freeway access, close to shopping and restaurants. Had one issue with a flickering ceiling light as you entered the room. Called for maintenance and a man claimed he was just part-time, and never fixed these type of lights, and needless to say he spent alot of time talking and trying to fix it, so he thought, he left and 5 mins later it did the same thing as before, so we chose to keep it off. Not quite sure what qualifications are needed at this hotel to become a maintenance worker. read more

TERRIBLE! The designing of the room was bad!!! Our room was $188 and neither dinner or breakfast were included! Coffee was $2 for plain and $3 for "fancy" (creamer, sweetener, ect.). The only reason I didn't give this place 1 star is because of the pool. read more

NOT RECOMMENDED The Hotel was clean, the rooms fine. But the management is unresponsive and rude. I was told in a phone call prior to arrival that the pet fee for our two night stay would be $75 for our two dogs. Upon leaving , I was presented with a bill for $150 - $75 each. When I asked the receptionist about it, and mentioned what I had been told, she said: "well, that's your word against ours." I was directed to call the manager, which I did, but my 2 calls were never returned. So much for customer service. Add that to the greedy attitude I saw in many interactions - a $25 fee for an early check in, $2 for a cup of coffee, and $13.95 for a mediocre breakfast (all of which Hampton and others supplies for FREE) I wished I had booked at one of the many other options in Gettysburg. read more

Sad to say I'm not impressed. Handicap parking is not close or convenient. Unless you're a Hilton member that's the only close parking. Pretty much amenities are ala-cart. Bottled water in the room is $2.00 each unless you're a member. Room is nice but 30% higher than our regular stay next door. No continental breakfast and high priced for a minimal breakfast that's just average. Clean and nice room but that's it. People at the desk are a little condescending (but nice about it) about why they charge for pretty much everything. Oh finally, the Internet was extremely slow and useless. read more

This low score is due mainly to their poor customer service. The hotel itself is not bad. Pretty much on par with what you would expect for this price range. Our tour group had about ten rooms for one night on the night of March 6th. The one thing that the front desk was instructed was to give us all a wake up call at 7am. We told them they forgot to do it last year when the group was there last and they assured us that they would. The time came and went and no wake up calls so we had to wake up the rooms ourselves. We also did not get a list of the other room numbers which the other hotels always provide so waking the other rooms up was a treasure hunt. When we asked the day manager about it she said that she was not told about the wake up call from the night manager. The other thing was that the day manager did not know where our breakfast for our group of 25 was being served so we had to wander around for a while until we eventually found it. Overall it seems like the front desk people don't have their act together which is too bad because the other hotels that we use are great. read more

Great HGI location near the town of Gettysburg. Perfect for traveling with kids. There are many conveniences nearby (wal-Mart, McDonalds, Peebles, CVS) which are really helpful. The indoor pool is awesome and this location has a whirlpool which was a nice bonus for parents who need to relax at the end of a long day of adventures in Gettysburg. We didn't try breakfast while we were here because there are so many other options nearby that are more affordable. Our room was clean and comfortable and we were not bothered by any other noise or guests during our stay. The business center was well stocked with brochures for things to do in and around Adams County. There was ample parking outside and also a nice fitness center onsite. I would absolutely stay here again on our next visit to Gettysburg!! read more

This was a 5 star stay all of the way. It was approximately 10 minutes from the battlefield and very quiet. The hotel was very clean and the checkin was very easy. The room I got was huge. I really enjoyed my stay here. One thing that was great about the hotel was that there is a grocery store behind it. It was very easy to run there, get a few snacks and drinks, and have them in the room for the next day. This will absolutely be where I stay the next time that I am in town. read more

We had a very bad experience with this hotel. In the middle of the night I woke up with 12 bed bug bites. We moved rooms in the middle of the night. The following night, in the second room, my daughter got 2 spider bites. Not once did the manager communicate with me face to face. On top of that, when we ordered room service, they didn't bring us the complete order. Our phone was broken so I had to go down to the bar to let them know they messed up out order. read more

The hotel was lovely. The check in/out staff were friendly and quick. Our room was large and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the wifi was easy to access. The parking lot was big and the hotel was less than 10 minutes from Downtown Gettysburg. Our room did smell like smoke (the hotel is non smoking). It wasn't terribly strong, and we informed the front desk as to avoid getting blamed for smoking in the room when we don't smoke. The receptionist quickly offered us a free breakfast, noting that the hotel was full. We were appreciative of the free breakfast. However, I don't recommend eating at the restaurant. We waited over an hour for our breakfast. They had one cook, one waitress, and one hostess/busser. There wasn't any clean tables when we arrived and after waiting for 10 minutes we cleaned our own table. The food was cold and many people got up and got their own food because it sat at the counter for so long. It was a mess. Additionally, the hostess and waitress fought out in the front which made it extremely awkward. read more

The hospitality and competence of the front desk was some of the best I have encountered. Amanda and Tim went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. The rooms were clean and the location is convenient but it was Amanda and Tim that made this hotel stand apart from others. Comfortable, clean hotel with a 24 hr access to a pool, our kids had a great time. In the morning, went down to the lobby for a coffee and breakfast, they have no soy milk for coffee or oatmeal, the lady standing behind the desk (check-in) suggested I go grocery shopping to get some if I wanted coffee. That's fine, I did. Non-dairy milk is really cheap, they can stock a small amount and sell it to their customers instead of telling them to go grocery shopping, a lot of people don't drink dairy. read more

The property was attractive and the evening staff was welcoming upon our arrival. We stayed for 3 nights, I was traveling with an elderly family member with special needs so the handicapped room came in very handy. We did have to ask for a shower chair, but it was not a hassle and was installed when we returned back to the hotel. The housekeeping staff was accommodating and very friendly. The lobby was clean with coffee/tea/water bar accessible 24 hours, the breakfast was not included however seemed to be nice place for families to gather before they began their day. Mattress and pillows were clean and comfortable. Pool and Hot tub were both open during our stay, the area was clean and relaxing. Location was perfect for what we needed, we were only a few minutes from the heart of the Battlefield and the Outlets. The only thing that caused confusion when trying to find the hotel was the sign placement. The sign is placed by the bank's parking lot, however I could not access the hotel from the parking lot. (turn by the traffic light beside Arby's.) Price was very reasonable for this time of year and for all of the attractions that are located close by.
