ive been to a couple of grooming places in the area but i will say that Dazzling Pup has been one that works for my maltese mix Coco. I rescued Coco just a year ago and she gets very frighten easily. Grooming has always been an issue because Coco always come home very frightened and traumatize. When i went in to my first appointment with Coco I informed the groomer that Coco can be very frightened when it comes to grooming. They told me that they will give some extra time for Coco and the session might take a little bit longer in case Coco gets aggressive or too stressed. I noticed that they take their time to let Coco warm up because taking her in for the grooming. after 3 hours i got a phone call updating me and ensuring me tat everything is going well. When i return for Coco she was active and happy. they also gave me some tips on getting Coco to "break the ice" with new people. 5 stars! read more

My 8 months overly hyper baby was well taken cared off by the owners of Dazzling Pup today (2nd time back)! We love the staffs here...they are super nice and friendly...they genuinely love your pet(s)!!! They taught me a lot of puppy tips and provided a lot of recommendations...this is above and beyond what a typical groomer would do. I wanted to get my uncle's dog, a 50 pound labradoodle, washed and trimmed the next day. I knew it was a stretch, but I called anyway. Jonathan picked up right away and gave me an appointment for the next day. We were greeted by Jonathan and he's great. He is friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. He asked what kind of cut we wanted and provided recommendations when we asked. Milo had a lot of mats and being a bigger dog, it took longer than usual. Jonathan called to provide an update which I appreciate. He did a really nice job and I will definitely go back. In my opinion, the prices are reasonable. read more

I took my poodle brownie to dazzling pup yesterday and got a grooming session. I go to different grooming places around the San Gabriel valley and noticed dazzling pup. When I walk in the store I was quickly greeted by their staff. They sat me down and asked me exactly how I want to groom my dog. I noticed that the staff will first hold on to my dog first and make sure that the dog is comfortable with them. I thought that's very considerate. They will call me when my dog is ready. When I went back to pick up my brownie, they tell me exactly what they did and observed during the grooming. My brownie is all happy and look super fluffy when I take him home. I will bring him back to dazzling pup again! read more

First time here and I couldn't be happier with how my little Lizzy looks! Upon arriving I could immediately tell that the employees were dogs lovers. I didn't feel nervous at all about leaving her there. I couldn't believe it was her when she came out! She has never felt softer or smelled and looked so good! And I was able to tell that she was so happy with her makeover. They also have adorable clothes, beds, treats, toys and dogs for sale. Amazing customer service, everyone very sweet and polite. First time bringing my pet to dazzling pup. Very nice, caring, and friendly staffs! Also a very clean and tidy shop. The staff carried my dog to the back just incase he had fleas and didn't want to contaminate the shop and other pets with fleas. I'm very happy she did that because the previous grooming shop I took my dog to, my dog came back infested with fleas! They also gave me feedback on how my dog was acting with them(very calm!). Love this place a lot! Been bringing my maltipoo here for a while and I still enjoy their service every single time. Not only do they do the grooming part well, they also give me plenty of advice on how to care for my maltipoo since it's my first time having a dog. Although I live in Irvine, I still go to San Gabriel every three weeks for grooming (see how much I love this boutique). My maltipoo is pretty afraid of strangers but she always seems comfortable and happy when I pick her up. I will always come here for grooming service and I highly recommend this place to whoever that is looking for a clean, friendly and professional grooming boutique. read more

my maltipoo was super knotted and most of the grooming shop in the area want to shave it off and charge me 70-80. i got a hold of Jonathan in the shop and he wanted me to bring my dog in the shop. when i brought my dog in he took time to check on my dog and told me what he can do. he quoted me $65 if he really have to shave everything off but he really want to take a look and see what he can do because making that decision or charge me the extra. I can tell that he really cares about his project. He told me that my dog might take a little longer than 3 hours. I still decided to drop off my dog because he seem genuine. i got a call an hour later and he told me that he will need to shave my dog which i was little disappointed. another 2 hour past and he call for me to pick up my dog. i will be honest here i was going back with a little disappointment because i know that my dog is going to be shaved to the skin. but i thought that at least he is going to be comfortable. when i got to the store i noticed that Jonathan was walking out with a smile and tell me that the session when very well. my first thought was "well doh, you just shaved my dog..." he took out my maltipoo but he look very good! He had to shave the body but it was still have a good length but what shocked me was that he was able to leave the head fluffy. He explain to me that he knew that i will be disappointed if he shave everything down so he decided to comb out the head as much as he can. i did paid $65 for the work but i can tell that he put in a lot of work into the grooming. i left the store with an extra $20. read more
