Was nearby and looking for something quick. This was a great option. Service was quick and very friendly. I ordered a chicken pesto pizza. It was pretty good. I've had better sure but this wasnt the worst. They have wings but I didn't try any. If I'm ever in this area, I would order from here again.

They have vegan cheese, therefore, I had to give it a try!! The pizza was very good, and I loved the variety of toppings. I've tasted better quality vegan cheese but overall, I would definitely return. Good service, good food, reasonable prices.

Personal pizza. 3 blend cheese, green bell peppers and pepperoni.

Food is always consistent. Open late hours. Delicious pizza and friendly staff. I usually take to go but the location is convenient since it was close to my hotel. Have eaten here a few times.

We were staying around the Dupont Circle neighborhood and wanted a quick pizza lunch pick up. DC Pizza was close by and had decent Yelp! ratings, and so we gave it a try. It was a fun experience... The setup is very efficient. Once you walk in, you pick up an ordering sheet to fill out. You can build your own or choose one of their few preselected combos. Then you head to the left and hand over your order form to the staff at the first station. Within less than 10 minutes, your pizza passes through each station wrapping around the store in clockwise fashion til you get to the cashier to pay for your pizza. They'll call your number and your pizza is ready all boxed up to go. A 10 minute walk back to our hotel and the pizzas were still hot, fresh and crispy with the thin crust...just the way I like it!

I would've loved this place for my own love for pizza before. Unfortunately with my family having to go gluten free and dairy free (GFDF), having pizza is just not the same. I'm glad DC pizza has an option for persons needing the same dietary restrictions. My son wanted a pineapple pizza. He was thrilled to 1. get GFDF pizza, 2. watch them make the pizza, and 3. eat it while it's hot! I tasted it thinking it won't be that good cuz my experience with plant based cheese has not been meh - it was actually pretty good. It was too toasted though so maybe next time I'd ask that when making the gluten free pizza to either run it shorter in the oven or lower the heat. I lie, one more thing, it was pretty pricey for opting for GF and vegan cheese. Like $5 more. The cash register saw my shock of the price so she offered I take two cookies for my two kiddos. It was a generous and kind gesture. I sadly declined because they weren't gluten free but it was still very sweet of her. I'd come back for the GFDF pizza for my son again. The place was tight inside. It could probably seat 5-7 people inside. There were definitely a lot more seating in the outdoor area.

Good pizza, great prices. The concept is really cool. You basically order like a "Subway" style and they make your pizza right there at the counter. I opted for The Marty which has: Naturally Sweet Tomato Sauce Three Cheese Blend Banana Peppers Pineapple Pepperoni Sausage Sweet Red Chili Sauce (finish) I loved the flavors together and it was fresh and hot! The cheese was wonderful and plentiful. The sweet chili finish was a great complement. My friend made her own pizza and admittedly didn't have as much cheese as mine did. It also took them longer than the promised "3 minutes" (maybe 10/15). Maybe just a one-off? I'd definitely recommend DC pizza for a quick and tasty option. You really can't beat it for the price and convenience!

The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance of Parisian cool and casual, making it an excellent spot for a mid-morning, work-ish get-together. I stopped in around 11:00 AM. Since I was already over-caffeinated for the day, I skipped the coffee and opted for the Martha Stewart spritzer with mint. It was exceptionally lovely and refreshing. For a midday breakfast, I ordered the omelette with spinach, roasted red peppers, and feta cheese, which came with a delicious green side salad. The execution on the food was excellent, and while I didn't grab any pastries this time, the entire display looked incredible. The staff were incredibly kind and gracious, upon learning, it was our first time there give us a humongous cookie! The only downside is the standard neighborhood reality: Georgetown parking is a notorious pain, but you know that going in. It is well worth the effort for the quality of the food and the environment.

Quantum. call me Ishmael…read more Call me famished. Some hours ago--never mind how long precisely--having little or no provisions in the pantry, and nothing particular to interest me at home, I thought I would stroll about Georgetown and see the Levantine offerings of the city. It is a way I have of driving off the spleen and regulating the digestion. Whenever I find myself growing grim about the mouth; whenever it is a damp, drizzly November in my soul; whenever I find myself involuntarily pausing before mediocre sandwich shops, and bringing up the rear of every uninspired lunch line; and especially whenever my hunger gets such an upper hand of me, that it requires a strong moral principle to prevent me from deliberately stepping into the street, and methodically knocking people's hats off--then, I account it high time to get to Yellow as soon as I can. This is my substitute for pistol and ball. With a philosophical flourish Cato throws himself upon his sword; I quietly take to the cafe. There is nothing surprising in this. If they but knew it, almost all men in their degree, some time or other, cherish very nearly the same maritime longing towards a perfectly wood-fired pita. Stand at the counter of Yellow, your eyes fixed upon that golden, puffy vessel, blistered from the hearth. Why did the old Persians hold the sea holy? Why did the Greeks give it a separate deity? I found my answer when I plunged into the hummus--a swirling, creamy expanse of whipped chickpea, earthy za'atar, and rich sesame. As every one knows, meditation and tahini are wedded for ever. The pita, warm and impossibly soft, served as my vessel, navigating the golden pools of olive oil just as a Nantucket ship cuts through the Atlantic. There is magic in that dough, pulling you away from the shore of the mundane and into a deeper, richer abyss of flavor. If you are feeling a damp drizzle in your soul, do not take to the sea to drive off the spleen. Take to Yellow. Five stars.

We stopped in on a Tuesday for brunch to avoid the crowds, and it turned out to be a great time to visit. The restaurant is smaller than I expected, but that's part of its charm. It's cozy, packed with historical photos, and does a great job preserving that old-school tavern feel. Each booth has a plaque commemorating a particular person or event, although I wish more of them were included in the history brochure at the table. If you're going to give me a history lesson, Martin's Tavern, I'm ready for the full syllabus! We started with the Shrimp & Calamari, which was fried perfectly--crispy without being oily or overly salty. The mandarin-orange aioli was an excellent pairing. My wife ordered the French Onion Soup and absolutely raved about it. It had generous chunks of bread and onion, and the flavor was fantastic. We both went with the Lobster Roll, with regular fries for her and sweet potato waffle fries for me. Huge props to the fry cook because BOTH were out of this world! The portions were also enormous. The lobster rolls were tasty, but personally, I prefer mine with just warm butter. I felt the shallots and herb mayo competed a little too much with the lobster's flavor. One thing I really appreciated was how upfront they were about the DC surcharge. It's clearly printed in the menu, and our server made sure we knew about it before ordering. I've been to other DC restaurants where the surcharge mysteriously appears on the bill like a surprise DLC, so I appreciate the transparency here. There are still SO many things on the menu I want to try, which means I'll definitely be back.
