My daughter loves Asian cuisine and we were looking for a place to walk in and eat a late dinner. They sat us immediately and were so courteous and nice. The food was amazing. We had the pork soup dumplings, pan fried pork dumplings, veggie spring rolls, lava spring rolls, veggie noodle soup and chicken noodle soup. All of it was amazing. And the staff was so nice and happy. They have hibachi tables as well and the chefs that were making the food were so entertaining and enthusiastic. I would highly recommend eating here. read more

Overall the food was great with the soup dumplings being the star of the show, super juicy, flavorful and they make it onsite! Excellent Chinese soup dumplings and hibachi/teppanyaki show. My friends and I have never seen a fire so large at a hibachi show before. (It seemed perfectly safe and under control.) Excellent customer service, friendly staff. The broth inside the dumplings is high quality, because it is slow-cooked and contains pork aspic using collagen/gelatin-rich pork skin and neck bones. Great spot for a dumpling fix. Came here as soon as I landed from the airport. Got the combination lo mein and the crab/pork soup dumplings. Both were delicious and enough for two people! The lo mein had a strong flavor and the noodles were perfectly done. The dumplings on the other hand, were filled with a rich broth that went very well with the crab/pork meat inside. I really enjoyed our meal here. I was craving Chinese food, this place was close by and I'm so glad we stumbled upon it. We had the pork and crab soup dumplings. This was my first time having soup dumplings so I don't have anything to compare it to but I'm a fan. I didn't really taste any crab but it didn't really affect my appreciation for them. We also got the scallion pancakes which were a little different than ones I've had before but I thought they were good. We also had the chicken chow mein and the beef with scallions and both were delicious. I would definitely stop by again when in the area. read more

One of my friends was craving soup dumplings, and this was one of the few options that was open past 10pm on a Friday night (last call for kitchen was 10:15 I think they told my friend, it closed at 11) and had a lot of good reviews. We ordered the steamed pork soup dumplings, steamed crab meat and pork soup dumplings, shrimp dumplings, and scallion pancakes. The scallion pancakes were too crispy and not doughy enough, and the shrimp dumplings had too much filler in them. The steamed soup dumplings stayed together well enough, and I always prefer pork over the crab and pork ones, but both fillings didn't seem to be that much and hold together at all. It was reasonably priced for NYC (esp by Times Square) and it's a perk to have dim sum not only on Sunday mornings, but expect more average dim sum. read more

Ordered a small hot and sour soup and a basket order of pan fried pork buns. The wait for the buns to come was long but they make sure your water is refilled. The hot and sour soup was pretty good and interesting, probably one of the most spicy ones I had ever, as they're typically not super spicy and generally seasoned with pepper to give that spicy kick. The pan fried pork buns were, however a disappointment. The buns were not crispy on the bottom, and has tiny pork fillings with basic soy sauce flavoring, which reminds me of typical steamed meat buns you get from frozen aisles of the market. read more

This place is legit. Was intrigued by the high ratings and had possibly the best beef noodle dish in my life. We came at around 6p on Friday and the place was pretty empty so we were able to snag a table inside. We ordered a few things among them were the amazing beef noodles. The noodles themselves were perfectly chewy and the flavor was off the charts. The scallion, mushrooms, and the bok choy were nice touches. The beef itself was super tender and plentiful - the overall portion was generous as well for the price. The other dishes we ordered were the chicken dumplings - really great and super juicy - as well as the fried milk bread. The latter came with a condensed milk type of sauce which reminded me of frosting your own doughnut... it was good but nothing to write home about. Would skip this one next time. AVOID. Horrible-- I do not understand how this place got good reviews. Food-- even though we picked items recommended on Yelp, three were awful and only the pancakes with meat was even mediocre ( and that would have benefited from a sauce, as too dry). The Brussel sprouts were vastly undercooked with some odd sauce drizzled on , while the pork with crab dumpling was missing any sign of crab . WORSE was the noise --- Loud: possibly illegally LOUD. The restaurant was relatively busy but relatively quiet when we arrived. But shortly after our food arrived, three girls sat at the hibachi. They themselves would not have been very loud but the "server" put on a performance that depended on shouting and intentionally making continuous loud noises. In fact, at various times , he told them to shout again and louder!! The noise was like being in the midst of a drunken frat party or a tantrum of undisciplined Screaming 4 year olds . These aren't the best soup dumplings in New York (for that I'd go to Joe's Shanghai or Deluxe Green Bo in Chinatown) but for the area (Theater District) they are better than you'd expect. It's a good cheap and quick bite before or after you catch a show on Broadway. read more

Wanted to find a spot nearby for a quick lunch saw great reviews all around for this place. The place was empty and we were probably the first customers for the day. We ordered a Pork Soup Dumpling, Tofu with Crab Meat, Noodles with Scallion Sauce and Sticky Rice Shumai. Service was great and our server was super nice and friendly. Unfortunately the food was not good. The meat in Pork Soup Dumpling we got served was spoiled and sour so our server got us a new round which was pretty decent and the highlight of our meal. Everything else was just super bland and didn't have much flavor or umami. We took a couple bites of the tofu and left it alone. Not sure if we came here on an off day but the majority of the food we ordered was really subpar. I do wanna say that our server was too nice and comped the soup dumpling and tofu when she saw that it was basically untouched. read more
