It was a used bow and I brought it in to have them check it over before I bought it. They told me what they thought it was worth and didn't even try to sell me on anything new. They were very helpful. After I bought it they helped me out a ton. Set me up with arrows and everything else I needed. They even let me shoot at the range in the back room till my wife called and wondered where the heck I was at. 8 months later I'm 6 days away from my first hunt with my bow and I dry fired my bow and broke the string. I called them and said they could get me dialed in before my hunt, just needed to track down a string for my 6 year old bow. I called around town to compare pricing but literally no one in town could get it for at least two weeks and at this point my hunt was 4 days away. Ed told me to bring it by and he'd see what he could do. The shop had my bow restrung and tuned 3 days later. They even took an extra hour to help me get my bow tuned specifically to my shot before I left. This shop has been very helpful every time I've gone in and are always willing to help out with anything extra I need.

Due to recent events in the past year including covid-19, they've had to place visible signage at the front entrance stating that they are NOT a business selling firearms (a similar business is the area is called "Mil-Spec Armory). This is a business that sells morale patches, accessories, and MSM branded apparel. I will be sad to see this business go, as I enjoy talking to the employees when they're not busy with the phones or boxing up merchandise to ship out. As of 04/28/21, the MSM warehouse in San Jose, CA will close their doors permanently on FRIDAY 05/28/21 and relocated out-of-state.

This initial visit I felt like everyone was pretty friendly so I thought when I ordered a rifle that was hard to find online I would have it shipped here to pick up and do the FFL paperwork. I ordered my rifle and paid for it online from the company across the United States and they shipped it right over to these guys and I got my Fed ex confirmation at 10 AM in the morning yesterday so at 2 PM yesterday I stopped in to grab my rifle thinking that should be an easy process. I was told by the older gentleman there that they had 50 guns come in that day and they had not finished processing them and told me that he would call me when he was ready for me. I felt like that wasn't the most polite thing since I had already driven there and it wouldn't have been hard to go and grab the big long box with my name on it and just do the paperwork and have me out of his hair. So I left went about my day and waited and never heard back. Finally today they called me after they had had the gun for over 24 hours and told me I could come in to pick it up. The older gentleman took care of me again and I am guessing he remembered me and was still annoyed that I had the nerve to show up at a store without having an appointment which was not a policy on a sign or known to me so it wasn't the happiest of interactions. I filled out my paperwork and wasn't even given a chance to look at my weapon before I was handed it to me and sent out the door. It is $40 to do an FFL transfer here from another dealer. This seemed a little high to me since I usually pay $20 or $25 at the other dealers that I normally use. All in all I probably wouldn't come back here since they have steep transfer fees and the service just wasn't there. The customer shouldn't feel like they are bothering someone there when they show up to pick something up that they've already paid for. I feel like this is a pretty fair and accurate review of my experience here since I subtracted one starfor making me return another day instead of helping me the first day I came when they weren't any customers in the store anyway. I subtracted the other store because it just wasn't a friendly experience. I will say the younger guy does seem more friendly but he was sitting at the desk and not the one helping me.

I just recently received news that my order would be available for pick up on 1/16/25. This has almost been two months! I did receive feedback after I expressed that I would not be paying for this order due to the time involved. I am including their response. After reviewing their email there is no actual customer service, meaning no "How can we make this better, we can give a discount for the time it took" etc. Just sorry it took so long. I will never refer this company out again. Here is their response: I apologize that you have issues with our turnaround time. I do want to note that it was Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Production warehouses, our screening team, and our store are all closed for various days through out those weeks due to the stated holidays, which in turn delays the turn around time. It was not relayed to me that these were Christmas gifts. If that had been made known to me, I would have done my best to accommodate your request. Our standard turnaround time for ALL screened products is about 6 weeks. This is for all of our departments that place orders with us through out the year. We're sorry to hear that you found a new vendor, but we understand that we cannot meet the demands you are looking for.
