Review July 2019 I was looking to get into the OTF game for carry knifes. I happen to catch a deal on IG as I have been debating on this company and their OTF's for a while now vs the other companies. They are fairly local to me and I am very glad I tried them out! Knife feels like good quality as well as functions flawlessly. These guys make you feel like they want to take care of you .... or at least the guy that came out and helped me. I ordered a total of three (3) knives from the company. One knife came to me with a blade that was not assembled. I sent it back, and it hasn't arrived from Ravencrest; it's been approximately a month. I received my other knives assembled properly and ready for use and work. I carried one for about three weeks, and it malfunctioned on me while out in the field. Customer and material, I am not impressed so far. read more

where is my knife? I paid $174.94 didn't recieved an email nor a text nor my bloody knife! I emailed them and they didn't respond if you try to call it doesn't go through. I bought it on January 29th and have still heard nothing from them. i am posting here to get them to hopefully see this and get me what I paid them for. I've been looking to get an auto knife from Ravencrest for quite some time and kept putting it off, but when their classic RCT1 went on sale at 50% off, it was a no brainer, I got one for my buddy too. Its a quality knife, solid build, and quick to deploy, whats not to like? My wife now wants one so what better gift for mothers day. I ordered them both online and picked em up at their shop in Mesa; which has much more than knives, from pistols to ARs, they have some pretty cool stuff in there. My RCT-1 Raven and RCT-1 Mini are awesome. Five stars for both. EVERYTHING stated about these knives on RavenCrest website rings true. Handy, strong, sharp and very tough! The ease to open with one hand is great while your other hand is holding what needs to be cut. I would highly recommend. Having the options to customize your knife with the color you prefer and the blade specific for your needs takes RavenCrest above the rest. The shipping is worth it. I have heard about this place a lot from coworkers and others. I've wanted a knife for quite awhile but always hesitated because of the price. I had a friend who went in and said they had some sales going on and I should stop by since it was around the holidays, so I did. Let's just say... I ended up buying four different knives and loving this place even more. The customer service and staff were all super friendly and just normal people. They treated you nice and were just real with you, we even joked around a bit. They have a big wall with the current "stock" knives for sale and will explain the pricing of each section. You can choose off the wall or have a custom knife made, which costs more. When I went they had several knives on sale for a REALLY awesome deal because of an issue with the design 'wearing' off in your pocket. Ultimately, I wasn't too concerned about the issue because I bought four of them... two for me and two for gifts (on two separate days.) The staff was just really great and remembered me the second time I came in. They have a bucket of $5 knives you can get. Usually they have a slight problem but there were some quality knives in there. They also have a knife of the month club you can subscribe to or you can stop in and buy most of the past months (new) knives for $10 each - still a great deal and a wide variety. I have been going to Ravencrest Tactical for years. It's a long drive for me but has always been worth it. Their knives are superior to any other everyday carry and I have gone through a lot of other knives. I'm the proud owner of 5 of their knives and today almost made 7. However, I went there today and had the misfortune of talking to a younger guy with a dark beard. I had 2 knives on me that needed the attention of someone that knew what they were doing. This guy was NOT that guy. My automatic knife is not deploying. It needs cleaning. My assist knife opens but is crunchy. It needed cleaning. I'm not sure this guy even looked at them when he went behind the counter. From what I can tell he did nothing. Nada. Zip... it's my fault I didn't check them there but I was so irritated with this guy thatni didn't do it. My bad. I asked about the 2 knives I wanted to buy. An automatic krambit and an automatic drop point. These knives (as well as all the knives I have) are in the neighborhood of $200.00 apiece. They didn't have the krambit in stock. Okay, that I understand. When I asked about customizing the drop point he told me they don't really do customization on the knives. He said this as he was STANDING NEXT TO THE SIGH THAT SAYS THEY CCUSTOMIZE KNIVES!!!! I was ready to check this guy for a pulse. I MAY go back at some point because I love their knives. And they now sell firearms. I asked 1 question about a gun. "Do you have a FN 5.7?" Answer: "no." "Can I order one?" Answer "no." "Can I have one sent here and buy it that way?" Answer: " you may want to call back and talk to Keanu." He hands me a card. I have this place programed in my phone but the card was a nice touch. Even if it didn't have Keanu's name on it. As bad as this guy was I asked if they ware under new owners or management. "No." I had had it at this point. I brought my crunchy opening knife and my sometimes deploys automatic and tried to clean them myself. No dice. I have no clue how to take then apart. I have to go back. Another 30 minute drive that will HOPEFULLY be a tad more productive. Please, go here and buy spectacular knives. Do NOT talk to the guy with a beard! Good luck. Obsessed! This place is great. They have many selections with different styles and combinations (handles/blades) and offers that can fit any budget. I "budget" for my knife collection and heard about a steal of a deal on OTF peices. Luckily on Saturday, Rionne was on duty to answer all my questions and show me around. We wanted to share the unfortunate and bad experiences we received when we went to buy a knife on 5/5/22 in Mesa, AZ. My husband has always been a loyal customer and was excited to go to the Mesa location. We live in Kansas and flew out to Mesa, AZ, with hopes to see my husband's friend (Joe), whom he met many years ago at a Gun Show. When we walked into the shop, we were received by a very bitter salesman; he kept being very pushy and seemed to be in a hurry to make a sale. Every time we asked a question, he would respond with an attitude and would walk away. If my husband wasn't so happy with your product, we would have left and not bought a knife. The worst part about it was that we were looking forward to going to the store and asking if my husband's friend (who was or is an owner of Raven Crest Tactical) was there. Once we walked in and asked, the salesman was rude and immediately responded by saying, " I don't know of anyone by that name" do you want to buy or see anything". We immediately felt so bad. I almost told him that he didn't have to be so rude. The moral of the story is that your customer service sales team doesn't represent the quality and pride you take in your product. read more

I purchased a Bravo Tach from RavenCrest. The knife arrived and it was sturdy, well built and the cerakote w matching screws gave a great look and feel. I had a small hiccup with the Bravo and reached out to RavenCrest, they went above and beyond to make things right. I now have a Covert Reaper from RavenCrest and I can tell you it is a second to none OTF. I have 10 OTFs from all the big companies and I promise you the Covert Reaper is my edc now. You can spend $2-300 more if you want, but you won't have that lifetime warranty and customer service, not to mention you'd be wasting that $2-300. BUY A COVERT REAPER. NO JOKE. read more

I was gifted a Ravencrest OTF Knife from a friend. It is a raven RCT1 Tactical in robins egg blue. It is my EDC. I can't tell you how much I value this little gem. Recently it didn't work as well so I called Ravencrest and the gentleman on the phone was great. Told me how to clean it and still it didn't work. So living here in Tempe I went to the store to get it fixed today and not only did they drop everything to clean it--they put a brand new blade in it! Handed me what felt like a new knife. I really couldn't believe it. I want to thank Martin Alvarez a customer service Rockstar for doing a me a solid on this knife.They do Honor their lifetime warranty. They deserve our business. I saw this place driving by this morning and decided to stop in and check it out. Am I glad that I did. They are going thru a renovation inside but the knives are awesome! Chris took the time to help me and answer questions about the different models and the features of them. Learned that they have a Monthly knife club where members pay $10 or something similar and every month they get a different folding or fixed knife - pretty cool! Chris is very knowledgeable on the products and showed me by example that their unconditional lifetime guarantee is for real. A guy brought in a knife while I was there, that was having issues, which was a model no longer in production. Chris took the old handle, and replaced the insides with a functioning assembly and made sure they customer was happy - all at no charge. Impressive! I ended up buying a Spartan model that was in the dents and dings section - barely even noticeable cosmetic ding which saved me over $20. Chris changed it to have whichever style blade I wanted inside and I chose the Tanto. I didn't want any serration on the blade. I'm thrilled with the results! I will definitely be back to see them again. If you are in the market, definitely go in and see Chris - he can hook you up! read more

They engraved it on the spot too!! Only down fall is they didn't have the color blade I wanted but that's out of their control during the busy season especially with shipments being delayed. Sucky Lifetime Warranty, Mediocre Customer Service, Questionable Quality I bought an OTF knife from them a little less than a year ago and had to send it in for warranty after a couple of the screws for the clip came loose and I couldn't figure out how to get access to in order to retighten them myself. I was also concerned about how wobbly the blade seemed in comparison to another OTF knife, so I asked them to fix that too. Much to my disappointment, I had to pay for the shipping to them AND to get the knife back ($24) after only having the knife less than a year. But okay, didn't think I'd have to utilize the warranty this soon, was hoping I never would and wanted the blade swapped out anyway. A day or two after sending it in, I emailed asking them to just swap the partially serrated blade with a non-serrated one as it was ordered by mistake or probably an error on their part as I've never been interested in a serrated blade. After not hearing from them for a couple days, I called and spoke with Keanu (I think that was his name) who told me that they received my request and had taken care of it. Much to my disappointment, I got home that SAME day and found my knife delivered on my doorstep with the screws retightened, but the same partially serrated blade that was still wobbly. I'm guessing that's how it's supposed to be as there was no communication from them on this possible defect, but disappointed that I will have to pay two way shipping AGAIN if the blade separates from the body considering I already paid for two way shipping with this concern AND that Keanu told me the blade had been replaced per my request when in fact it had not been. Kudos to them for having a turnaround time much less than their listed 2-3 weeks listed, but everything else is below par. read more

My dad gave me one of their knives and I fell in love. it is the best pocket knife you could ever own. sadly I misplaced mine and I missed it so much I tried to order a new one, well long story short Mr. Kent calls me after I sent an email and I told him that I lost the best knife ever. it was a spartan handle with a spear point blade, unfortunately the company had just discontinued the spartan handle but he had one left and he sent it to me to replace the one I lost. Went here and got one, no two as part of their st Patrick's day sale. With that awesome sale, I had to buy one and get another free. When they custom built them they took the time to make sure to get rid of the play/rattle in the blade. They could of just slapped it all together and waited for issues to arise. They didn't let a single one leave till they had it functioning to the best standards. These guys are top notch and take care of any issues you have. If you have any problems go to them and they will honor their work. I'm breaking the norm and leaving reviews for this kind of service and not waiting to have a bad experience. I've bought knives from them before. My only complaint is that no one answers the phone or returns your calls. They recently had a sale on one of their knives, but I had a question about the blade type before I made the purchase. I called numerous times over a two day period and left messages, but never made contact with them or had my calls returned. Obviously the sale is over with now. They may end up losing a good customer. read more
