Wall of knives! Many options and you can pick your blade style.
    Sam W.

I have heard about this place a lot from coworkers and others. I've wanted a knife for quite awhile but always hesitated because of the price. I had a friend who went in and said they had some sales going on and I should stop by since it was around the holidays, so I did. Let's just say... I ended up buying four different knives and loving this place even more. The customer service and staff were all super friendly and just normal people. They treated you nice and were just real with you, we even joked around a bit. They have a big wall with the current "stock" knives for sale and will explain the pricing of each section. You can choose off the wall or have a custom knife made, which costs more. When I went they had several knives on sale for a REALLY awesome deal because of an issue with the design 'wearing' off in your pocket. Ultimately, I wasn't too concerned about the issue because I bought four of them... two for me and two for gifts (on two separate days.) The staff was just really great and remembered me the second time I came in. They have a bucket of $5 knives you can get. Usually they have a slight problem but there were some quality knives in there. They also have a knife of the month club you can subscribe to or you can stop in and buy most of the past months (new) knives for $10 each - still a great deal and a wide variety. You can trust me when I say... I will be back!

I have been going to Ravencrest Tactical for years. It's a long drive for me but has always been worth it. Their knives are superior to any other everyday carry and I have gone through a lot of other knives. I'm the proud owner of 5 of their knives and today almost made 7. However, I went there today and had the misfortune of talking to a younger guy with a dark beard. I had 2 knives on me that needed the attention of someone that knew what they were doing. This guy was NOT that guy. My automatic knife is not deploying. It needs cleaning. My assist knife opens but is crunchy. It needed cleaning. I'm not sure this guy even looked at them when he went behind the counter. From what I can tell he did nothing. Nada. Zip... it's my fault I didn't check them there but I was so irritated with this guy thatni didn't do it. My bad. I asked about the 2 knives I wanted to buy. An automatic krambit and an automatic drop point. These knives (as well as all the knives I have) are in the neighborhood of $200.00 apiece. They didn't have the krambit in stock. Okay, that I understand. When I asked about customizing the drop point he told me they don't really do customization on the knives. He said this as he was STANDING NEXT TO THE SIGH THAT SAYS THEY CCUSTOMIZE KNIVES!!!! I was ready to check this guy for a pulse. I MAY go back at some point because I love their knives. And they now sell firearms. I asked 1 question about a gun. "Do you have a FN 5.7?" Answer: "no." "Can I order one?" Answer "no." "Can I have one sent here and buy it that way?" Answer: " you may want to call back and talk to Keanu." He hands me a card. I have this place programed in my phone but the card was a nice touch. Even if it didn't have Keanu's name on it. As bad as this guy was I asked if they ware under new owners or management. "No." I had had it at this point. I brought my crunchy opening knife and my sometimes deploys automatic and tried to clean them myself. No dice. I have no clue how to take then apart. I have to go back. Another 30 minute drive that will HOPEFULLY be a tad more productive. Please, go here and buy spectacular knives. Do NOT talk to the guy with a beard! Good luck. I added a pic of my "kids".

I will be a Ravencrest supporter forever! These knives are extremely durable. Easy for everyday carry. Customer service and the owners are easy to work with. They care about their customers and quality of their product. Great business to support

Obsessed! This place is great. They have many selections with different styles and combinations (handles/blades) and offers that can fit any budget. I "budget" for my knife collection and heard about a steal of a deal on OTF peices. Luckily on Saturday, Rionne was on duty to answer all my questions and show me around. She was super helpful and i couldn't help but make a purchase that I've bragged about all weekend. A holiday discount, tshirt, and a great Monthly Membership plan later... i am really happy to recommend RavenCrest Tactical to anyone with a penchant for knives.

    Covert reaper

I purchased a Bravo Tach from RavenCrest. The knife arrived and it was sturdy, well built and the cerakote w matching screws gave a great look and feel. I had a small hiccup with the Bravo and reached out to RavenCrest, they went above and beyond to make things right. I now have a Covert Reaper from RavenCrest and I can tell you it is a second to none OTF. I have 10 OTFs from all the big companies and I promise you the Covert Reaper is my edc now. You can spend $2-300 more if you want, but you won't have that lifetime warranty and customer service, not to mention you'd be wasting that $2-300. BUY A COVERT REAPER. NO JOKE.

I saw this place driving by this morning and decided to stop in and check it out. Am I glad that I did. They are going thru a renovation inside but the knives are awesome! Chris took the time to help me and answer questions about the different models and the features of them. Learned that they have a Monthly knife club where members pay $10 or something similar and every month they get a different folding or fixed knife - pretty cool! Chris is very knowledgeable on the products and showed me by example that their unconditional lifetime guarantee is for real. A guy brought in a knife while I was there, that was having issues, which was a model no longer in production. Chris took the old handle, and replaced the insides with a functioning assembly and made sure they customer was happy - all at no charge. Impressive! I ended up buying a Spartan model that was in the dents and dings section - barely even noticeable cosmetic ding which saved me over $20. Chris changed it to have whichever style blade I wanted inside and I chose the Tanto. I didn't want any serration on the blade. I'm thrilled with the results! I will definitely be back to see them again. If you are in the market, definitely go in and see Chris - he can hook you up!

Huge BPS store! This one is in Mesa. We were staying pretty close by, could've technically walked…read moreover had it not been so hot. Spent a couple of hours one afternoon. We love visiting BPS's, it's like going into the wilderness without the prep and mosquito bites. We're only semi-outdoors people of the paved or at least graveled/dirt-road variety, and not too much rugged terrain please for my getting-old bones. Pros: - It's for pros, hence the name, lots of specialty brands. - I feel like I'm a pro when I come here, only need to trick me. - My kids get such a kick out of this place, it's got all the cool gadgets to make camping and other outdoors adventures high-tech and fun - So many taxidermy animals, my wife hates seeing them and get squeamish, but the kids and I find them fun to look at. I personally think they're cool. Too bad I can't bring one home. - Some things on sale are pretty reasonably priced. - Huge place to walk around in, get your exercise done indoors in perfectly temp-controlled environment. - Clean bathrooms and the whole place is kept up nicely. Cons: - Some items are definitely full-retail prices - mostly hiking shoes, water sandals, didn't see much if any discounts for those. - Other items seem even higher than retail at other stores - grills, camping equipment, some knives (although I don't know prices for those as much). All in all, a great place to visit, stick to sale stuff and you can find some decent to good deal for your next outdoors adventure. Service from staff is good if you need help, just ask, otherwise, it's more a hands-off, self-serve, wander-as-you-like type of place which I prefer anyway.

I came here a few days ago looking for vertical ascend gear out of caves. I was greeted by Jason and he was really helpful and knowledgeable. I needed very specific gear, and Jason was very patient with me and showed me where I could find sit harnesses, chest harness, chest ascender, hand ascende, foot loops, etc. I didn't find exactly what I needed but got a good idea on the things I need to build a personalized vertical gear set for myself. And of course, while I was looking for cave gear, I wandered around looking at all the fabulous gear they have, I was like a kid in a candy store. I could spend hours in here. I started looking at hydration packs as I need to replace mine and found a very nice military edition and will come back to purchase this soon. I also saw plenty of Petzl bags, and very tempted to purchase another. They also carry so much Petzl gear, you will be in heaven here. Also, some great hiking shoes and some sleek, but we'll performing water shoes. I then wandered into kayaks and Jason even showed me the Padillac they have! I've gotten into paddleboarding and kayaking for the summer and now want one of each! This place rents them and sells them. I then went to check out some wetsuit gear, and they have a really nice selection of wetsuits, gloves, booties, etc. I really love this place and it is definitely gonna bankrupt me, but so worth it. High quality gear, more extensive selection than REI and the staff here know what they are talking about. If you need something specialized, this is the place for you. I'll be back here soon!

After he unloaded everything at the back of the store, the employee came over and said "thanks for your trouble" and handed me a $20 bill. I have consigned clothing, designer handbags, and sold books, sporting goods and household items to different businesses so I completely understand that businesses need to make a profit. I also know used items are worth much less than retail, but $20 for that entire load felt incredibly insulting and completely unreasonable given the amount and condition of the gear. It just did not sit right with me. I went back inside and asked for our things back. We loaded everything back into the truck and brought it back home. I decided I would much rather donate it all to a nonprofit where I know the items will actually help someone which will make me feel so good rather than accept $20 for everything. I would have actually preferred getting no offer at all. I'm sure this works for some people but based on my personal experience, cannot recommend selling here expecting a remotely fair offer.
