Many cocktails served in fun souvenir cups. As a waterside restaurant I wish they had more seafood options but this is mostly an American restaurant with nachos, burgers and sandwiches. I ordered the captains chicken which was a grilled chicken breast topped with crab dip. It was delicious but served on the smallest bedding of mashed potatoes. Not the most generous portions. Fun vibes! We were able to sit outside on a very nice day. Since there was 7 of us we had to split into two tables but we're still close enough to yell at the other table. I got the salmon avocado wrap and fries which was an extra 3$. The fries were pretty fantastic and crispy. The salmon wrap was kinda small for what I paid for but still pretty good. My friends enjoyed their meals as well. We also split the Gekgo which was good but had too much sugar. Tasted more of mixer than alcohol. Overall meal was okay! When it started to get darker, there were lights everywhere which made it even nicer. We enjoyed ourselves, especially our daughter. Fun place to eat if you have kids. I had the grilled chicken Cesar salad wrap with a balsamic vinaigrette dressing. My hubby had the chicken Paloke which had mango salsa, a Thai chili glaze that sat on a bed of rice. So imma keep my review as right to the point and not bullshit, the food was mid, you'd be better off going somewhere else if you want a descent portion for the price you pay here, so I'm saying the food here is pricey for something I can make at home and still cost less. For example I got a bacon cheese burger, most restaurants will include a side and most people will choose fries, at the Lizard you get chips with your burger and if you want fries they are an extra $4.99, so your already paying for a burger that costs $16.99 then adding on the fries just ups it to a higher price and it's basic food, nothing special. This place is good for nachos and drinks that's it, in my opinion, it's worth stopping by and trying just those two things, Ask for prices for the drinks in advance, also the drinks aren't strong, they are good but just not strong and way to much ice. We were at the farthest table from the kitchen, right along the bay! It was a hike for the wait staff. Drinks were good! Food was good as well. Our party had the fish tacos, fish and chips, pork tacos a salad and the Chula chicken stack was mine. The stack was really good and their "chula" sauce is really good as well. What a fun place!! Food was great, nice portions but a little pricey. We were a table of 10 ladies there for a Bachelorette party and we saw a few other gaggles of hen's out on the town! Wana, the waitress, was so kind and took great care of us. Our orders came quickly and the drinks were poured just right. The minus one star is only due to the fact that when we were checking in, we arrived at 7:37pm for the 7:30 reservation and the woman barked at us saying that they have a 5-10 minute grace period. She said that she "reassigned" out tables and was visibly irritated that he had arrived. She phoned the MOH in the uber 2 mins behind up but missed the call and tried calling back immediately to let them know we were all close. We ate at this restaurant last night. We don't have any complaints. The food was prompt, it was very good, and there was an area for the kids to play outside. The waiter was very accommodating and prompt in getting us whatever we needed and offering suggestions. I had the Blackened Fish Tacos with the chips and salsa. As an appetizer we had chips and cheesy crab dip, which had large chucks of crab on top. We'll definitely be back. read more

We came to ocean city for a brief little getaway and since this restaurant was close to the hotel we stopped there. Honestly everything was great. Our food was delicious, our server was super sweet. I got the salmon wrap which was delicious as was the delicious greens. So I'm not going to lie, I was a bit surprised when the bill came. I knew my salmon dinner was $26 but my wife didn't look at digital scan menu on phone and she ordered from a menu waitress gave her. She ordered a chef salad and shockingly it was $23. She said they didn't have any prices on her menu but still I feel that was a lot. Food was okay and not great. We ate earlier in the day and food was much better was half the bill. Other than atmosphere I don't really recommend this place. read more

I'd like to start out by saying this used to be our favorite restaurant in oc. The atmosphere is amazing ! Service was okay kinda slow and waiter forgot things multiple times ! My main problem was the food! We have been going here for years. First thing was the wings, we have always loved in the past. Definitely a frozen wings jumbo and rubbery. Second I was told they only cook burgers medium well. For people who will not eat pink or how about pregnant women who aren't supposed too that's extremely disappointing. Again we have ordered here many times we ordered the burgers and when they came out they couldn't have been more then 1/8 cut if that paper thin. I would say less meat than a McDonald's single burger. Not what they used to serve. My daughter got the chicken tenders and they were gewy she was disappointed as well. The food was bland and fried food was mushy. We were sat outside in direct sun and when we asked to be sat at a different table, we were told it may not be an option (despite MANY EMPTY tables- there was more empty than seated). We were not given menus and told to use the QR codes. My kids do not have devices so that wasn't an option. The sides for burgers can not be substituted for fries. So you have to purchase a $9 basket of fries. Having not been there- there was no clue as to the size of the basket. I got chicken fingers and fries- they were clearly frozen and the WORST CHICKEN FINGERs I have ever had. It was difficult to get a server. Instead, people were walking around trying to take pictures to sell you. We were no where near the playground we had heard about. The salt in the shaker was wet. No one got silverware. We asked the server to slit our bill and she told us we could split it equally in 1/2 or could give cash and each pay our portion to pay the total but it would not be split between my family of 4 and my parents. Our bill for fries, burgers, chicken sandwiches and chicken strips was just as much as when we went for crab cakes and lobster the night before. I visited OC during Labor Day Weekend with my best friend and dad. I haven't been to OC since I was little, but my friend and her dad have gone more frequently. They both had their favorite places but De Lazy Lizard was something new for them! Our condo had a Lizard coozy and that's how we heard of it! We didn't wait at all to get a table and was brought back to a booth near the bay. The atmosphere was so cool with the lit up palm trees and fun music that was being played! My friend and I both had a Crush drink to start. I chose the Watermelon and she had Orange. Really delicious and refreshing! I recommend both! I had the Boathouse Burger for my meal. It was topped with crab dip, cheddar cheese, lettuce and tomato...and it was delicious!!! Everyone else enjoyed their meals too - including the Mango Tuna Wrap and Tropical Trio (which is a little bit of everything!). Overall, great atmosphere and delicious food! We were lucky to be one of the first in line. We said seat us anywhere and got in quick as everyone was waiting to eat out side. I do have to add that parking can get filled up quickly. I ordered the blackened fish tacos (You have to "fish" through the menu to find them) they were some of the best tacos I've had! I also ordered a pineapple crush that tasted great! Where to start... The waitress failed to take my drink order and assumed what I wanted to drink. One draft beer that was ordered had a straw in it. We witnessed the manager remove straws from other draft beers before being served. Others at our table received bottle beers instead of draft. One of the wings was undercooked (pink slightly bloody). The biggest issue was one of our orders never made it to the table. We were told it was busy but the food ordered was simple so it was assumed it was forgotten. We ended up canceling that order. The manager came out to say the order was ready but we rejected it. No apology was offered. The biggest issue here is the management. This should have been handled much better than it was. It was obvious the waitress had no clue what was going on which reflects on management again. Stay away from this place. read more

This place is decent. I think its a place where you can sit for hours and just drink and talk and munch. We got pretty lucky to be seated so quickly and to watch the sunset. Ordered a tuna wrap, which is outside my zone - but pretty good. I ate it all. They have hoop tea here which is a plus. Our waiter, Chad, was fairly attentive. Other girls got these monstrous drinks shaped like trees? I think this is a good place to go on a low key night, and save places like Harrisons for another night. Its a good balance. Lol.. as we left we noticed painted lizards on the pavement pointing us in the direction! But once we got in and situated we had such a great time! Our server was polite, friendly, and super helpful!
