I came into Port Angeles feeling chilly, hungry, and craving pizza, but I wasn't sure what to expect. After checking out Google and Yelp, Dead Low had great reviews, so I decided to give it a try--and I'm really glad I did. I originally planned to order a whole pizza, but was pleasantly surprised to see they offer slices. And not just any slices--these are big, New York-style slices! One slice easily filled about a plate and a half. The crust was perfectly thin, with just the right balance of sauce and cheese, and they were generous with the pepperoni (definitely more than the usual few slices you sometimes get). I asked for mine a little extra crispy, and they nailed it. I also appreciated how the toppings covered the whole slice--no big empty patches--while still leaving just enough crust to hold onto (and enjoy at the end). It was so good I ended up ordering a second slice--I couldn't resist! The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. If I had one small suggestion, it would be to add a bit more comfortable seating--but honestly, the quality of the pizza more than makes up for it. Port Angeles is lucky to have a spot like this for a quick, delicious bite. I only wish it were closer to home! Thanks for making my day trip even better--I'll definitely be back.

The best pizza on the peninsula!! Dead Low knocks it out of the park every time. Perfect crust? They got it. Good vibes? Always. Friendly staff? You know it!

This pizza was better than anything we get back home. Perfect Crust, sauce, topping ratios. Kids and adults in our group all loved it!

Great pizza by the slice. Good texture and flavor. The bacon pineapple was delicious (team pineapple) and the kids loved the pepperoni.

Outside may look very basic but indoors has comfy seats and an open feel. Recommend the Udon Bowl--try it at spice level 1 even if you normally opt for 0 spiciness (it's a sweet-spicy) and choose bulgogi beef if you like a smoky leaner meat or the pork belly if you're craving more of a rich fattiness. Also check the drinks fridge as you walk in--they have some choices you may not see on the menu such as Mexican Coke.

TLDR: Me and my partner got food poisoning from the chicken sandwich and had to call multiple times…read moreover the course of two weeks to get a partial refund from the owner. Me and a group of friends (8 total) were visiting the Olympic peninsula for a camping/backpacking weekend and stopped by Midtown on a busy Friday night and were quickly seated. The food tasted good and we had great service during our visit. Since we were a large group, and already had shared expenses for the weekend, when asked about the check we offered to put everything on one tab to save time. Later on that night however, after we had set up our tents at our campground, my partner began to experience intense stomach pains which turned into full blown food poisoning. I spent the next several hours helping them, before I also got sick. It was at this point we realized that it was from the chicken sandwich my partner had ordered at Midtown, since I had eaten her last remaining bites of the sandwich and this was the only food we shared that other members of our group had not also eaten (we all shared food at lunch earlier in the day). My partner and I essentially spent the night in the campground bathroom (we are extremely lucky they had one). The next morning we were feeling depleted, dehydrated, and decided to head home to recover while the rest of the group continued on the trip. We spent the rest of the weekend trying to get food down. I called Midtown the next business day and let them know what happened for their awareness mostly. They thanked me and told me their policy is a full refund if something like this happens and that the group should expect it soon. We didn't hear from them or get notification of a refund so we reached out a week later and they said they forgot and now the owner would only provide a refund for me and my partner's meals and that they never offered a full refund. They said since we had "12 people" on the ticket they wouldn't do it (our tab for 8 people was $186 before tax and tip) but if we had a doctor's note that could change things. I promised them we weren't making it all up and that I've never gotten food poisoning from a restaurant or even left a bad review before! Tired of the gas lighting I decided it wasn't worth arguing and let them know this will have to be my first. It's a shame their management is unprofessional because our experience in the restaurant with the food and staff was nice.

The list I had of breweries were all defunct save for one and so I never really made a point to come back to this corner of Washington in search of beer. But this summer I did for sightseeing purposes and came across Angeles Brewing and Supplies. It's more of a place that has guest taps but there was one brewery that caught my eye I wasn't familiar with. Social Fabric Brewing was what caught my eye. It's a brewery that recently opened in Port Toensend and the same owners of Angeles Brewing. I got the IPA called Ready To Start from Social Fabric. It was good and enjoyable! Flavor features with this IPA are hoppy and kind of citrusy. The malts make it unique with Pilsen, Flaked Oats and White Wheat with hops like Citra, Mosaic and Nelson Sauvic. Angeles Brewing is a nice addition to the town and adds variety of beers here that I feel Port Angeles could stand to have.

This place was surprisingly excellent. Far exceeded my expectations when I first walked in. It…read morelooked like it wouldn't have what I was looking for which was a decent beer/cider flight. Whoever puts the taps together at this place knows how to pick them. This was probably the most enjoyable flight I had during our visit to Port Angeles and surrounding areas.
