The main problem and downside is that they are very expensive and overcharge. Despite the Yelp page saying that the company provides a "free estimate", I was quoted $49 for the technician to travel. In addition, if I had not chosen to go ahead with the repair, the company would have charged me an additional $150 diagnostic fee. Essentially, despite the yelp profile stating a "free estimate", it will cost you closer to $200 to get a quote. I see this as false advertisement. In addition, when the technician concluded that the problem was the capacitor, I received a final quote of $600. When I googled the price of the same capacitor online, the price range was in between 75$ - 150$. Essentially, they are charging a premium of at least $450 per replacement for a single part (capacitor). Despite their professionalism and quality work, I do not recommend this company for the reasons stated above. If price is not a concern for you, and you would rather pay twice the market value for a job then you should definitely choose them. EDIT: I actually googled the price of a capacitor and offered to buy my own. I was told that by the technician that if I purchased my own capacitor that the company would not install it. In conclusion, they did not address any of my concerns. Unfortunately, after reading the other bad reviews, there seems to be a consistent pattern of discrepancies between what they tell customers and what they instruct technicians to say on site. Making an honest living is so much more rewarding than making it dishonest living.

A bit later he came in and flushed the drain with water. He reset from the electric box. He was done. He requested I pay with a check, which I did. Rate was Very Reasonable. I felt I got a good deal, as you know some businesses charge an arm and a leg around here and try to sell you on products. I received none of that nonsense today. Then I let him know not to order for the part, instead, I would order it. Now, the replacement part is ready and this company is requesting $250 for labor fee which we already discussed. Moreover, they are changing their speaking as if it was about distance of location. What is funny my home is pretty close to their location around 15 min most. New HVAC filter, reset breaker. Thermostat batteries are fine. Still not kicking on. Sent Yelp message to RES because they have always been quick to respond. And they did this time as well and the woman who gave me a call was nice and tried to help. Pretty disappointed that they can't quickly swing by today. From what I've read, it's likely a dirty flame sensor or the ignitor switch (neither of which is a long job - I just don't have the tools). HVAC less than 5 years old, so parts are under warranty with RES; however, I had to call someone else. Bottom line: Someone else is coming today, but I could end up paying for parts. Kind of feels like my current needs weren't lucrative enough for RES to make a concerted effort to swing by.
