Dean's Diner open 24/7. Well we've been driving past Dean's for years and finally gave it a try at 1:30 AM. Dean's offers a full menu and breakfast 24/7. The waitress was friendly and attentive. We rolled the dice and ordered grilled pork chops and a simple breakfast eggs with sausage and home fries. If you're eating late go with breakfast. We had a pleasant late night bite.

I'll keep this review simple, honest and fair, just like the typical experience one can expect during a visit to Dean's Diner. I love this place. I visit every time I am in the area! Dean's is your typical nostalgic, quintessentially American diner. Food: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 (it's an old school diner!) Staff: 5/5 Finally, here's a pro-tip... do not leave here without having a slice of one of their MANY pies!

It was fun checking out a new place. The breakfast menu was very small & limited. The food & service was ok. The restrooms were very clean.

I stopped here for the first time two weeks ago while having a nightmare of a work day, in the hopes that a decent pancake would make the day less of a nightmare. When I tell you these were the best pancakes I have ever had in my life...so fluffy, so thick, and easily the size of my head, for less than $5. The photo I took can't do them the justice they deserve. The diner is adorable, the staff are friendly, and the pancakes could turn your worst day around. I can't wait to go back

Slow, slow, slow!! Stopped by for breakfast last Saturday, 7/27 around 11:25 am and won't be back. The breakfast rush had gone but it still took 45 mins for a simple breakfast of two eggs over medium. Two young ladies who ordered before me only received their meals (cheeseburger & fries) when I was nearly finished mine. The eggs were ok, home fries flavorless and the pre-made sausage patties were cold. WTF took 45 mins? I've since read other reviews stating they're understaffed and this is the norm. Don't eat here unless you have at least 2 hours to spare

Had a late breakfast this past Sunday & it was delicious. Had peanut butter chocolate pie for dessert. The price is great for all the food we got! Will return!!

We stopped at this "restaurant" on our way home from state college. We just barely beat a slight rush of folks, if you consider 3 groups of 2 a rush. It took over a half hour for several meals. We had nothing extravagant: grilled cheese, grilled ham and cheese, and two burgers. I use the word burger loosely. The "deluxe" burger was 2 smash patties on a 3 layer bun which came with coleslaw (we never received that), and fries. If you've ever bought frozen fries at the grocery store, then undercooked them, that's what you'll find here. We did hear that the pies were good, but we ended up cancelling that piece of our order. After 3 of the 4 at our table found hairs in our food, we lost our appetite. Our server was genuinely surprised when we didn't have a craving for hair pie after we alerted her to the hairs in our food. According to the marquee they've been in business for 90 years, now that is the real surprise.

    Meatloaf!

I saw this diner while driving from Indiana to Connecticut. Decided to try it on my return. Delicious and friendly! The raison pie was not my favorite "mince"--but points for having it! I love diners.

Bland low quality food catered to people in their 80's who no longer have teeth. The pie is good though.

Waitress was great. Food was a little sketchy. Nothing but your basic dinner slop. Coleslaw was fantastic.

Old historic dinner but food kind of average - won't be a DDD stop anytime soon. Service is lackadaisical at best

The food was overcooked and the uncooked food was stale. Their only salvation was the pie was on point.

Always looking for that special greasy spoon with something to rave about. Nothing special here. Not bad but nothing to rave about either.

Josie's is a home town, family restaurant in Coalport, PA! Home of delicious wings, lobster wraps,…read moresalads, pasta, dinners, and a huge breakfast challenge! I can't recommend this place high enough. We usually come in two-three times a week, and are always greeted with excellent service, a big smile, and we feel like family....not customers. There are so many items on her menu that we love, but some of our go to favorites are: Sweet and Sassy Wings (both wet and dry) Lobster wraps Turkey dinner Breakfast (I recommend eggs any way you can think of them, omelettes, bananas foster French toast, S'mores French toast, and you can't forget her fresh sausage patties!) Cobb Salad Meatloaf dinner Loaded French fries (cheese, bacon, chives, sour cream) Fresh soups (can't go wrong with any of them) Country fried steak dinner As you can see we can go on and on. Now not only is the food delicious, but the service is quick, the coffee is fresh, and your order is cooked fresh regardless of how busy they become. You can't beat the quality!! Last, and certainly not least, is owner JoAnn who not only will check on you, but follow up on any compliment or complaint, will sit and have a conversation with you, and take any suggestion openly and graciously. She gives so much back to the community and we love getting to know her more during every visit! You owe it to yourself to check this place out! You'll be glad you did!
