My oldest son wanted milk tea boba after watching Hoppers so I yelped the closest and best place to get drinks and hangout for a bit. The first place to pop up was Timeout Tea and it was a no brainer after I saw the 4.9 rating. I also noticed that a lot of the people I follow had left reviews, so I knew it had to be good. The shop is located in a strip mall and I don't know if we arrived at the wrong time but that parking lot was tight and packed. I managed to get a park in the lot right next to it so everything was good but you've been warned. Once we arrived, we were greeted by a super friendly employee who helped with our order and gave a few recommendations. We talked about the yelp elite event they had there a few weeks ago and she offered "thank you" cookies for every item ordered. We ordered pina coladas, an original milk tea boba, a caramel milk tea with boba, a Berry hibiscus ice tea and a brownie and fruity pebbles cookie. After our orders we sat at small tables that had fun games at them while you wait for your order. The kids had a blast playing games like connect four, uno and other cool games. The drinks were good and everyone finished their drinks and snacks without any complaints. The shop was extremely clean and keep the kids occupied for about 45 mins. They also play some dope r&b music in there. They made me pull out the Shazam a few times. Overall, we'll def be back to try other drink options on the menu. I would also recommend this place to my friends. OOOOO 5 out of 5

I have ordered from this place so many times. We love everything that we have tried. The place is clean, they have games on the tables, the person that took our order was helpful and friendly. I love that they use fresh ingredients. Love, Love, Love this place!

It's time to spill the "tea" in SFV so make sure to stop by here! One of the newest boba cafes in my area and one of the best! ~Taro Smoothie is excellent 5/5 ~Passion Fruit Tea 5/5 Inside is very bright and welcoming. Plenty of seating if you want to hang for a bit. Drinks are made well and quickly. *They offer a rewards program so make sure to sign up using your cell phone number. *Parking lot can get full but be patient a space will open. ~ and that's all I have to say about that ~

So adorable!

Amazing service, friendly staff and locally convenient for me. I stopped by yesterday evening due to sweet cravings and I knew the perfect spot--here! My favorite drink here is the pistachio smoothie with original boba. So I ordered it again. 5/5! Then I checked out their cookies and they had the "Oreo s'more cookie" with the center having marshmallow amazing!!! Especially after being heated up. This cookie made it to my top list for sure.

Solid spot. Stumbled upon this place after getting some fried chicken sandwiches from another business in the same shopping center. Young kids were working on a Saturday evening. Got a free cookie for being my first visit. Pleasant experience with the mango tea that I got. They've only recently opened and it's worth a try.

This place is located in a strip mall in a corner of an intersection. The interior is bright and white and there were tables with games placed upon them. The side wall had a big cloud couch that looked more fluffy than it was. The service was nice, answered any questions I had, and was slightly awkward but polite. The menu was fine, if a bit uninteresting (to me). I ordered a strawberry matcha and jasmine sunrise (jasmine + Thai tea) but as of time of review, only had the strawberry matcha. The drink was very heavy on the strawberry side but pretty good, if a bit grainy. I was told they use matcha leaves and fresh strawberry since they wanted to avoid sauces and powders as much as possible. As refreshing as it was, the slight grit of the drink is a bit unwelcome. This was a good drink though and I believe this business has potential. Additionally, I was provided a cookie for my first order at the location. The red velvet cookie was tasty. Moist, slightly nutty, and having a great red velvet flavoring. All in all, I liked the place. There's room for improvement, but I would likely come back again.

Came by for another banana choco shell and it was just as good as the last time. Consistency is key! And I always appreciate the service with a smile! Thank you!

Such a cute spot with tasty drinks, yummy snacks, and games on every table. The customer service was great! We even got a cookie since it was our first visit. The environment, at the time we went, was pretty chill. I really liked my drink, it was a latte (can't remember exactly the name but I think it's the only latte they have). Parking lot is big, but at least when we went, it was packed and not easy to find a spot. Will absolutely be back! Especially because they're open a lot later than other places (& because I really enjoyed my drink and my time there!)

I had a craving for a smoothie tonight and decided to try out the Dubai choco shell smoothie at Timeout tea club, thank god they close at 22:00, I had thought of getting a pistachio smoothie but I was informed that the Dubai choco shell smoothie is basically a pistachio smoothie enhanced with Dubai chocolate. It looks a little different from the display, where you see the hard chocolate hard shell on top where you can see it but on my order, the choco shell is on the bottom of the cup, the top of the smoothie has Stuff that looks like fiber which I was told is what goes inside Dubai chocolate (chopped kadayif (a type of filo pastry)) it adds a crunch with the pistachio. Overall, it was a good smoothie. Good for my occasional craving.

Finally came back a few weeks after the Yelp Elite event since we've been craving it! I really want to try their Thai Iced tea but I needed my coffee for the morning and this was the perfect spot since we were in the area. Parking was better this time, luckily found a spot right up front. However, leaving the way I came was not an option as there was suddenly a homeless cart blocking the way without the person anywhere in sight.. We walked in and Yuna was there to greet us and even welcomed us back! Love that she remembered us and love her overall energy! I ordered a Bang Coffee this time and forgot to ask for boba but luckily she was able to add it in after. My bf got the assam milk tea with boba and while waiting, she offered us early birds some freshly baked cookies! There was red velvet and chocolate chip but we just shared a chocolate chip one which was super delicious! Love the crisp edges and the soft center. The drinks took a bit to come out but we had nowhere to be so it was okay. The drinks were good but the boba was on the softer side this time around which was a bit sad but still drinkable! It was also a bit sweeter but not overly sweet to where I couldn't drink it at all. They had Pokémon, the original classic, playing on the wall from a projector which was really cool. Definitely still a great spot and looking forward to coming back to try their Thai tea! IG: @ammysalamii

Chocolate chip walnut cookie and macrons

Stopped in a few weeks ago and such a cute space with so many yummy options. Everyone was so friendly and the space is fun and inviting and was decorated for Halloween. I ended up ordering the paradise fruit ice tea with rainbow jelly, a chocolate chip walnut cookie, and some macarons. Everything was tasty and they warmed up to cookie too. Only downside is the parking lot gets pretty packed, but everything was so good I would still come back.

Love Timeout Tea Club! So happy we found our new favorite coffee specialty drink and milk tea boba spot in the San Fernando Valley. This is now our go to for coffee drinks, milk tea boba and Korean snacks. Timeout Tea Club ambiance is so welcoming and positive. The staff is so welcoming and kind. We've stopped by Timeout Tea Club several times a week whether in the afternoon or on weekends. The staff always provides excellent customer service. They are consistent in providing both excellent customer service and delicious specialty coffee and milk tea drinks. This shop is so unique in sense where they have a modern set up with a fun dreamy vibe. The place also has huge windows so it's bright inside bringing in natural light. As soon as you walk in there's plenty of tables and stools for seating as well as a huge cloud like couch with plushies. Very picturesque and comforting. They also have board games available for use. Our daughter likes coming here after school and weekends for her usual milk tea and shakes with cookies and cheesecake while we the adults get coffee drinks. Our favorites at Timeout Tea Club are, The Bang Coffee, Matcha Milk Tea, Coconut Strawberry Shake and Mango Smoothie to name a few. Did you know that they use matcha leaves and customized to your drink? Yuna informed me they use matcha leaves and that's why it takes them a little longer to make the Matcha Milk Tea. That's why you can actually taste real matcha. You can tell the quality and it's not powdered down. Thank you Yuna and your awesome staff for always providing excellent customer service and delicious drinks and baked goods. We love supporting small businesses in the San Fernando Valley especially if they provide both excellent customer service and delicious quality specialty coffee drinks and milk tea bobas. We've told our family and friends about Timeout Tea Club so a lot of our social circles now frequent Timeout Tea Club.

Lovely boba spot on Sherman way close to the 170. They have your usual options of milk tea and smoothies but what separates them is they also have cookies/macarons/cake slices and Korean snacks and Korean drinks. I got the taro milk tea with boba and it was super delicious. Felt fresh, not too sweet. Wife got the mango iced tea and she got a welcome cookie as a new customer. The employee Yuna (sp?) was just lovely and welcoming. Want to come back and try the taro smoothie.

Ask the Community - Timeout Tea Club

Is this on the way from Burbank airport to the 118 West by any chance?

Hmm not really but sorta - meaning that you can still catch the 118 from around this area but not, not directly in the middle like you are asking.

Being a huge matcha fan, I was all set to order one, but then I spotted a unique drink on the menu called "Fluffy Hojicha." I got curious and asked a staff member what hijocha was. They told me it has a distinct roasted flavor, which really intrigued me. Not knowing what to expect from a roasted tea, I decided to give it a try. The wait for my sister's drink, along with a crème brûlée donut and a strawberry donut, was just a quick 3-5 minutes. The first sip of the Hojicha caught me off guard; it wasn't my favorite right away. But with each sip, I started to appreciate and eventually really enjoy the unique roasted flavor of the tea. The crème brûlée donut was a lovely addition - just the right amount of sweetness without being too much. ELNO is located in a building with other small vendors, and there's a seating area that fits only two to three people. I found parking easily since I went on a weekday around 4 PM. My sister mentioned that on weekends, parking is a real hassle. It's definitely worth stopping by if you're in the neighborhood.

I paid $32 for a small cup of fried items and $15 for a halo-halo drink, and neither came close to justifying the price. The fried food was dry, bland, and tasted like it had been sitting out far too long. There was no freshness, no flavor--just oil and disappointment. For that price, I expected something at least memorable... it was memorable, just not in a good way. The halo-halo was equally underwhelming. It was noticeably watered down, lacking the rich, creamy flavor you expect. Again, for $15, that's pretty unacceptable. What makes this more frustrating is that this was at a festival, where vendors should be putting their absolute best forward to attract new customers. If this was their "best," I'd hate to see what a normal day looks like. Between the high prices, tiny portions, and poor quality, this felt like a complete miss. I don't mind paying premium prices at events--but the food has to back it up. This didn't. I wouldn't return, and I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

Who knew a pop-up dessert place could be this good???…read more Okay, call me a snob, but I believe a dessert location should have four walls and some little colored tables and chairs. My favorite pastry shops and ice cream parlors all fit this description. The idea of chocolate-drenched strawberries doesn't quite match the hustle and street noise you find next to a carnitas or falafel truck. So I drove by this brightly lit, cheerful, stand for almost a year before I decided I had to try it. In a war between my love of chocolate and my love of propriety, my snootiness could only hold out so long. And boy am I glad I caved! When I ordered a Dubai Chocolate Strawberry dessert, I got a big clear cup with layers of cut strawberries, warm chocolate syrup, pistachio syrup, and shredded crispy filo dough, which is like sweet shredded wheat. It all mixed together in a dessert that was TOTALLY DECADENT! They also sell gourmet Dubai Chocolate bars that have the same mix of chocolate, pistachio and filo (no strawberries). These days, I think about this place more than I should. Recently, they were absent from their corner next to Gelson's in Valley Village, and I was so worried they'd moved, I called the owner!
