Multiple visits and the food is always fantastic. Determined to try one of everything on the menu! Love the steak or burgers. The chilaquiles have to be on my top. You can't go wrong with the jambalaya if you love a good spice! Service is always welcoming and friendly. Last visit, they were a little short handed. But everyone worked with each other to get the service done. Much appreciated staff! The vibrate colors throughout the restaurant are so pretty! Love the hand crafted drinks and lattes

First things first--Drar Dad's offers complementary validated parking. A paid parking lot is located on the corner of Washington and Davie for $7. I was in a bit of a hurry so I ordered a Biscoffe Latte (iced) and Belgian waffles with a side of turkey links. The waffles were good, but a little too thick and dry. They're not true belgian waffles, which have a light, airy inside. The biscoffe latte was delicious and could have been a stand alone meal.

We had a nice experience at Dear Dad's in Downtown Greensboro. The wait staff was really nice and attentive. They checked on us throughout our visit to make sure we were enjoying everything, which I always appreciate. The restaurant is on the smaller side, but it's decorated really cute and has a cozy atmosphere. When we went on Friday, they had live music with a singer, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I thought the food was good, although it was a little on the pricey side--but honestly, that's just the cost of eating out these days. I definitely want to come back and try some of the other dishes and different drinks they have. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back to explore more of the menu!

Had a special occasion brunch w colleagues a few weeks ago, and everyone was highly satisfied with the service and food. The interior is so aesthetically pleasing and chic! Of course, gotta go back for more!

This beautiful restaurant compliments the awesome staff who work here. They are hospitable from the moment you walk through the door. They always have a wait, which should speak to how good they are! We were seated within 15 minutes with a party of 4 on a Sunday morning. They make really good coffee here, so I started with a vanilla latte with an extra espresso shot in it. It was rich, balanced and flavorful! My entree was the Skillet over home fries with chorizo and scrambled eggs. I also ordered sourdough bread, which I love because some restaurants do not have sourdough as a bread option. This dish was great! Not greasy and just enough for breakfast. Everything came out hot and fresh. This is a great restaurant for a good brunch in the Triad!

I finally made it to Dear Dad's downtown Greensboro location after visiting their Battleground location, and I'm glad I stopped in! The new location is really cute and has a nice brunch atmosphere. I came in for a quick brunch with my son and ordered the brown sugar latte and fresh-squeezed orange juice. The latte had great flavor, and you could definitely tell the orange juice was freshly squeezed -- you can actually see the machine making it. For food, we tried the Seafood Duo and the Salmon & Waffle plate. I really like that you can customize your meal with so many different options and combinations. The waffles were really good, and my son enjoyed the catfish. He wasn't a fan of the oatmeal, though. The service was a little slow in the beginning, but once things got going, everything was fine. I also saw so many good-looking dishes coming out to other tables that I already know I need to come back and try more of the menu. Overall, I had a good experience and would definitely recommend giving Dear Dad's a try if you're looking for brunch in Greensboro!

Ordered the birria quesadilla and Spanish rice and beans with a side of French toast to go. By far the best rice and beans. The red onion adds in the perfect crunch and flavor. The quesadilla was delicious. Enough for two! It was filled with meat and cheese. The broth, I could've just drank that by itself soo yummy. The quesadilla came with their salsa verde. Loved it just as much as I the did the consome. My only complaint was the French toast was a little burnt on the back side but other than that the meal was delicious.

Service was excellent. The menu is top tier. I almost got the carrot cake pancakes, but I made a quick decision and picked the breakfast club. The club was absolutely delicious. It had layers of fried egg, thick bacon, sausage, fresh tomato and lettuce. I asked for light mayo. The bread was toasted perfectly. My side was hash browns and they were good. My coffee was fresh. This is easily one of the best restaurants in Greensboro.

Our meals were excellent. The food was prepared perfectly and the taste was incredible. I love the long hallway and it has that bistro feel. Brightly appointed. Dad's has super staff but the service is slow because they are so busy. It took awhile for drinks, refills, and our food. That is why I am giving them 4 stars.

We had lunch at the Dear Dad's downtown location. We are so glad we stopped by as lunch was great from start to finish. The hosts greeted us and we were seated right away. I loved walking through the hallway that was covered with flowers hanging from the ceiling . Our waitress was so friendly & attentive. I hate I can't remember her name . I really appreciate how attentive everyone was, from the guy behind the bar and especially our waitress. Our food came out fairly quick .I picked out the dry aged sirloin & it was absolutely delicious. It had so much flavor on the steak that I didn't need to add sauce. It was so flavorful. I highly recommend this dish to the steak lovers out there . My husband got the fried catfish and he raved about it too. It was fried perfectly and seasoned well. Our sides were also packed with flavor and seasoned well. We can't wait to check out their breakfast & brunch on our next visit .

We went to the downtown GSO location. They told us it would be a 45 minute wait but it was only about 15 minutes. The inside is gorgeous! Flowers hanging from the ceiling and the decor was beautiful. They do have breakfast all day. I had the French toast breakfast that came with 2 eggs, bacon and 2 slices of French toast with a choice of side. Everything was amazing. Our group of 4 all enjoyed everything. The service was outstanding! If you get a chance to go. I highly recommend. We will be going back!!

Hands Down!!! All 5s...I can't wait to return!! This cute business hits the spot every single time. I feel welcomed everytime I enter. The service is top notch. Food = 5 Stars!! My sweet potato pancakes were overly cooked. They returned them and brought me back fresh pancakes. So yummy!! The blueberry hush puppies melted in my mouth...and those truffle fries = delicious!!

I've always wanted to try Dear Dad's, and decided to go to their new location in downtown. Walking inside, you're immediately led to a hallway and greeted by a beautiful floral decor. It's just so peaceful and lovely inside! The service was wonderful, and the server very helpful with suggestions! We ordered the omelet and pancakes, to try different items. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious! Omelette was also amazing! And I loved that they had shredded hashbrowns. (If you read my other reviews, you'll know I'm obsessed with them! ) The only tiny wish for improvement was the coffee. It seems a lot of restaurants have challenges to keep their coffee hot. By the time you doctor your coffee, it gets like warm. But aside from this small thing, the entire meal was delicious! The surroundings were lovely, and the staff was fabulous! So all in all a great place for breakfast!

After hearing so many great things, my family and I finally decided to try it this weekend, and all I can say is... WOW! What an incredible experience from start to finish. First, let me say that Zee, the owner and chef, is one of the most welcoming restaurateurs you'll ever meet. He not only prepares amazing food but also takes the time to personally greet his guests, making you feel like family the moment you walk in. We started with the Hummus and Fresh Flatbread, and it was absolutely outstanding, fresh, creamy, and full of flavor. Next came the Börek (Ground Beef and Feta Cheese). Think of it as the best, most flavorful "egg roll" you've ever had, but with authentic Turkish flair. Simply delicious! I had the Bugu Kebabi, served in a clay plate with red onions and tomatoes. Sealed with baked bread. I'm usually not a lamb person, but when Zee explained that the lamb is marinated for hours in an onion-based broth, I decided to step outside my comfort zone. I'm so glad I did! The lamb was incredibly tender and packed with flavor. The presentation was also unique and memorable, with the delicate thin bread cut open right at the table. It was more than enough for my daughter and me to share. My wife ordered the Beyti Kebab, is a Turkish dish consisting of ground beef, grilled on a skewer and served wrapped in lavash and topped with yogurt sauce and butter sauce. Every single bite was bursting with amazing flavors. Another outstanding dish! All the desserts are to die for, many are imported from Turkey. Before you leave, don't miss the opportunity to enjoy an authentic Turkish Coffee, Turkish Wines, or a Turkish Beers to complete the experience. If you're looking for a restaurant that offers healthy, authentic, delicious, and very reasonably priced food, Zeeyum Kitchen should absolutely be on your list. The service is exceptional, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and there's plenty of convenient parking. Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back!!!

My husband and I were in downtown Greensboro on a Saturday afternoon and decided to hit this place up for lunch. When they called the place The Bodega, they really mean it's a bodega. The cashier brought our sandwiches out about 10 minutes after ordering. I ordered the Turkey Caesar. It had turkey, shaved parmesan, marinated cherry tomato, house-made Caesar dressing, onion, and romaine lettuce in an 8" sandwich roll. It was a little pricey at $15, but it was worth the splurge. The dressing and parmesan cheese were unbelievable! Since this is in downtown Greensboro, there is no dedicated parking lot but we easily found street parking nearby. It was on the patio and fortunately we had beautiful weather. Without that option, it might have been quite a wait. So many delicious looking pics on Yelp that I was torn between numerous lunch options. I chose the meatloaf sub. Meatloaf on a soft hoagie bun covered with melted cheese, and a side of onion rings. The rings were nice and crisp and actual rings, not the premade minced onions that some serve. I didn't care for the dipping sauce so, when I was able to catch another server, requested ketchup. The sandwich was delicious with the meatloaf nicely flavored. It included a pesto spread which I didn't care for but some might. I would have preferred a marinara base but everyone has their own taste. I'll add this to my return-to places as I'd really like to try their brisket grilled cheese and meatloaf bowl.
