The food here is phenomenal and my husband and I went quite often, but had to quit going because we couldn't get past the smell. I know it's not their fault, because that's the downside of being located on Merritt Island. I do recommend the food, just recommend getting it to go. read more

Stopped in on a whim; Siri told me it was the closest diner to me. Glad I listened to Siri! I ate at the counter and ordered a Fried Green Tomato BLT and fries. Both the fries and green tomato had a cornmeal-like batter on them. Both crispy and hot. The bacon on my BLT was noticeably lean and cooked just right - not too crispy and definitely not limp! 5 stars for the Fried Green Tomato BLT. The servers here all seem to get along and help each other out. Between ordering, coffee refills and paying, I'm not sure who exactly was my server -- they all provided great service! A local at the counter struck up a friendly conversation with me. Nice, laid back vibe here. The restaurant was very clean, orderly and definitely not a "dive." This is a cute little greasy spoon. They have a pretty standard selection of breakfast and other diner items, and everything we got was cheap and delicious. Their biscuits are ~heavenly~, and their home fried potatoes were perfect. The waitstaff was all so very nice. First time here. Has more parking behind building. A lot of locals eat here. Very clean with a friendly staff. 2 of us had the flounder sandwich with friend okra. The other had a cheese burger. We shared a plate of fried plantains. All was YUMMY! They have homemade desserts as well but we were too full. Would certainly stop her again. read more
