We ordered the Deccan Special Biryani with chicken, the vindaloo with shrimp, samosa, garlic naan & bullet naan, and some chutney & raita. The chutneys were amazing & they have a good drinks menu. First time coming in today. They just opened up and the place looks so nice. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, they came up a few times to ask us how we liked our food and we chatted. Food was delicious. I ordered chicken korma and garlic naan and honestly I think it's the best I've ever had. The prices are not too high so overall I highly recommend! read more

Great new Indian restaurant! I had the Butter Chicken and Saag Paneer. Both dishes were delightful! The complimentary chips are different than the usual pappadums served at Indian restaurants. And the Badan Lassi is lovely! Definitely recommend this place. read more

Great for dine-in or take-out. The buffet on the weekends is amazing. On Sunday they also have a brunch special with buffet and mimosas. There's always a full bar with very high-end cocktails. Went to Saturday Buffet today and found it superb. Excellent, fresh food. The butter chicken was GREAT, a lamb stew was surprisingly delicious, curry shrimp was fabulous, Indian vegetarian fare and of course plenty of rice. Efficient friendly and very warm service. Deccan Spice is one of the better restaurants to go for Indian Food. Last Saturday I took a large group of friends there for brunch. They recently started their lunch buffet and that was the reason I chose them. Indian food is best enjoyed when you can sample a variety of the offerings and is a cuisine that the dishes get tastier when they are allowed to sit and the sauce gets a chance to get absorbed. It was a good selection of dishes, and each of them was flavorful with a distinctive taste. On Sundays they also serve fresh made Dosas. The price for the lunch was $21 per person which is very reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the food you get. The only negative thing I can say about the buffet is that since it was being served from one side only, with no clear direction in which way to go, it was a bit confusing. Besides the service being good, the restaurant has an attractive ambiance. I would definitely go back and tell anyone to go try it out. read more

I went to a foodie Facebook page, Let's Eat South Florida, and asked what the best, most authentic Indian cuisine was in Palm Beach or Broward County. Deccan Spice was the winner by close to 90 percent of 102 responses. We ordered a variety of dishes between the 6 of us. Outstanding food and service! We ordered everything mild with hot sauce on the side so everyone could add the heat they wanted. We will definitely be back. read more

We love this new spot in Pompano. The staff is very friendly ( we have only bought carry out ) and the food is always delish! We loved the deal they had with the bottle of wine as well. The only reason I am leaving 4 stars is because the portions were a bit smaller than expected, for the price. We will continue to go and I look forward to the brunch. read more

Our first visit. We had a very helpful server, Ledeige, who explained everything to us and made good recommendations! We tried a veg appetizer Samosa in pastry. Then Butter Chicken and Lamb curry with rice. Very good. Also good wine list and drinks. Buffet available 11:30-3:00! Great way to try everything. read more

This place was so nice & the food very yummy. It looks like a chic french restaurant, but It tasted like true Hindustani hyderbadi food. I definitely recommend their Szechuan fried rice, their badam milk, and their rosemary naan. I haven't had badam milk in America that amazing since visiting India years ago and I haven't had a naan that distinct in flavor. The biryani and chicken 555 were great too. read more

The Food was amazing. Well flavored sauces and divine and authentic Indian dishes. From the appetizers to the Naan and the soup to our main dishes! We absolutely enjoyed. The dessert was phenomenal. The food seems to be slightly catered to American flavors/taste with the Korma being overly creamy and medium spicy was not very spicy at all. Soup and lamp chops were very salty. Whoa!! This place is gooood! I fked up not getting the garlic naan but in love with the andhra curry butter chicken is soooo over rated. I got out of my comfort zone and this is ten times better. If you're sensitive to spice get mild. If you like SPICY get medium. More people should know about this place! read more

We ordered 6 dishes plus Naan tonight and extremely happy with everything. We loved the Samosas, paneer Tikka, lamb Rogan Josh, kabuli Chole and Telengana Aloo. The Saagwala was a little salty for us but some minty chutney helped. Best Naan I have had in south Florida and best Indian food I've had in a long time. Check your blood pressure after eating here!!! Everything I ordered was overly salty. The daal was so salty we couldn't eat it. If the salt doesn't kill you the ghee floating on top of the entrees will. This place has no clue how to cook! And they obviously don't care about serving healthy food to their patrons! read more

From the front you would not expect what you get on the inside. Located in a shopping center next to a Walmart. We fist ordered delivery and we're so impressed we went to try the restaurant. It is beautiful on the inside and the foot is amazing! We have tried nearly all of the menu items and they are all amazing. The fried rice is our family's favorite. They even have a buffet on the weekends!! The layout of the buffet could be improved, either way the food is amazing! read more

A new Indian restaurant that opened in the middle of the pandemic - we have to hand it to them for their courage! The food is authentic and excellent!!! My husband and I lived in an Indian neighborhood in Queens, NY, and are used to authentic Indian food. When we left NYC, we thought we would not find really good Indian food again, but we've found it in Deccan Spice. Really good Indian food - I am vegan and my husband is vegetarian and they accommodated our requests easily and with great suggestions for us both. The sauces are creamy and with great depth of flavor and spices are complex and satisfying. We hope they do well and are around for a long time!!! read more
