First time here. Went for lunch and had the lunch special. Service was friendly and food was good. I'll definitely come back.

Good service, one of the best but food was alright. Maybe great for the location, not a lot of Indian food around here, it was similar to cafe style. Food came out fast, and you get to order at the counter so it's self serve, tip optional. Place is huge, nice interior design. Food was good but wasn't special, can't compare to Irving/carrolton area. Would not drive all the way out here for it. Overall good but doesn't satisfy my craving, maybe I need to order other items from the menu.

    Garlic naan-undercooked and wilty.

We ordered for delivery. The menu offered 4 different levels of spice. Since it was our first time, we went with mild for the paneer with peas and medium for the tikka masala. The food was so spicy, it was inedible. The food also was not presented in an appetizing way. The garlic naan was undercooked and wilty.

A friend recommended and so glad he did. The food was delicious! Service was good. It is byob and there is a liquor store next door. Will be back.

I always crave the masala dosa from Deccan but this time wanted to try a new dish and got the tandoori chicken daal tadka and I've never had anything like it. It was full of flavor and spice. Service was exceptional. Our server, Shashi, brought out pickled mangoes for us to try and some yogurt for when the food got too spicy. Grateful to have this restaurant so close to home!

Good naan. Butter chicken mild was plenty. Friendly service. Great to have some variety.

Walked into Deccan Spice today, I'd like to start off to say it smells absolutely delicious inside as soon as you walk inside. The bathrooms are very well kept, private and clean. At the counter there were 2 very kind gentleman who told me welcome and helped me pronounce what I was ordering because I asked how to say certain words, and took very good kind and care of me. I absolutely love the seating environment I chosen by the window with the nice warm sun. The art on the wall is beautiful as well, really makes the experience a whole lot better! Such a nice place tucked away just off the highway. Seating is absolutely comfortable and the tables are spotless and clean. Is the prices worth it? Absolutely!!! In fact I would think it would cost more for how much I'm getting!! This place absolutely is amazing, this is my new go to food spot! Everything cooked to perfection. Definitely will be back again!! Desert topped everything off! I 100% recommend coming here.

Expectations were high but food was marginal. The people in the restaurant were really lovely when I picked up, but the Korma was not great.

All the favorites are on the menu--potato greens, cassava leaf, palm butter, palava sauce, check rice, dry rice--you name it! They also have other great African and Caribbean dishes, including egusi soup with fufu and oxtail with rice and peas. The egusi soup, in particular, is hands down the best I've tasted at any restaurant in DFW. The food is consistently flavorful, authentic, and satisfying. The customer service is easily a 10/10. The owner is such a kind, sweet, and welcoming lady who always goes above and beyond to make sure her customers are taken care of. Every visit feels warm and personal. Great food, generous hospitality, and excellent service--this place truly has it all. If you're looking for authentic African food in DFW, especially Liberian favorites, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. You won't be disappointed!

When we stepped up to order, the young lady (I am so sorry I forgot her name) was so polite and helpful. The food does take a few minutes to come out but that was definitely expected as everything was made hot and fresh to order. We both ordered medium spice and that was perfect. Just the right amount of heat in everything. First was the chicken pie. It was light, flaky and absolutely delicious. And huge! 10/10 absolutely perfect. The grilled chicken with jollof rice was also very good. Very favorful. The fufu and egusi were also good and such an interesting experience. It was good but we enjoyed the other dishes a little more. I would say we enjoyed the beef egusi more than the goat only because the goat has a lot of bones (which the young lady at the counter warned me about ahead of time) and was difficult to eat in a public place without making a mess lol. The flavor of the goat was fantastic though. The fufu was hot, fresh and super light. My DIL said the consistency reminded her of a bao bun and I think she nailed the description. Next time I think we will have to try the Snapper! The portions are also very generous. I would definitely recommend a visit here. There are also several other dining options that look good in the dining hall as well as a cigar bar and brewery. Roanoke has grown up quite a bit!

It's in what appears to be a converted livestock exchange just off the main highway through Justin - don't worry, any direct evidence of the livestock has been expunged - only the utilitarian architecture remains. The crowd is definitely local in flavor - lots of worn denim, hats, boots, and a bit of wind-burn. I've only been there during breakfast hours. In about a dozen visits, I've had a very consistently good experience, on both the food and service fronts. The breakfast specials cover the basics - eggs, pancakes, French toast, etc. Familiar food at good prices. If you're after eggs Benedict and mimosas, you're in the wrong county. Save room for a cinnamon roll. These things are about 7 inches in diameter and 2 inches high, not counting the optional (but essential) pile of pecans on top. These aren't the overly gooey messes you get at a lot of places - there's structural integrity AND good taste. Getting one of these to bring back to the wife is an essential part of my marriage maintenance program. Over the coffee station, look for the vulture sculpture fashioned from a coal shovel. It serves as a constant reminder to tip generously and put the mask back on before I get up from the table. It would be nice if they'd extend the breakfast hours past 11:00.

After noon, you can expect the crowd to significantly increase and it will become busy. We ran into that, towards the end of our visit. With the increase in traffic, it was nice to be tended by more than one waiter. I didn't think about it then, but I would have loved to tip the second person, as well. When going to Postino's, I always try to get something new and they never fail to impress. Drink: The Mockingbird (Mocktail) - bright pineapple, a touch of Italian orange, and toasted almond bitters. This was very good and is something I'd get again. The Board: Brie, Apple & Fig Spread - this is a repeat for me, I absolutely love it. The apples are always fresh, crisp, and juicy. This is so perfect! Prosciutto Di Parma, Fig & Mascarpone - another repeat, I can't go to Postino's without having this on my board. Mushroom & Mascarpone - If you're a lover of mushrooms, you'll enjoy these little bites. I did notice, we did not get the green onions this time around and I was okay with that. They were removed, due to the current outbreak. Great thinking, Postino's! Salami & Pesto - This always closes the board for me, I love this combination. Although, I will add, I think a different type of salami would work best with this combination. West Coaster Panini - (Smoked ham, smashed avocado, arugula, roasted garlic aioli, pickled red onion, Calabrian chili, feta cheese. For my side, I chose the tomato soup, my goodness, was it good. I must say, it is the best tomato soup, I've ever had. It was creamy, packed with flavor, and complimented my panini so well. Also, they add cheese tortellinis to the soup as well. So, good! This was very delicious, the ham stood out and wasn't muted. However, I think I will get another bread next time. I chose the focaccia, it was a bit too much bread for that particular sandwich. I will admit, it doesn't beat their prosciutto and brie panini; that sandwich is divine. Hot Donut Dots - (House made ricotta donut holes with salted butter chocolate, caramel and vanilla glaze dipping sauces.) These are superb and packs a lot in one bite. The cream in the middle is so smooth and full of flavor, but is very heavy. I'm not a cookies and milk person, but this dessert craves a tall glass of milk. They were hot, fresh, and I appreciate the fact that even when fried, they were not swimming in grease. The vanilla dipping sauce was my go-to, of the three sauces. They did well with this dessert, it hit all of the bases. Postino's is a great place to visit with friends, a date, or even as a solo-day/night out. They are one of my top 5 restaurants and I don't see that changing, ever!

I was traveling in the day before the event and really needed them to provide everything from A to Z. I really don't host parties like this and really didn't have a good idea of what I needed or what to ask for. Lisa didn't make me try and decide on the exact menu, she did it for me and that was a huge help. I just made some tweaks to the menu and updated her with the RSVPs as we got closer so she could adjust quantities. Everything they did just completely blew away any expectation I had. The meat and cheese display was gorgeous and delicious. LIsa suggested some items that sounded a little boring to me but she promised they were delicious. She wasn't just over selling it. Every bite of everything was delicious. Even the salsa for the chips and dips was one of the best I've ever had. The queso was a huge hit as well. They make these little twice baked baby potato bites that were out of this world. You'd think a chicken skewer would be boring, but not these. They provided literally everything for the guests down to little baby forks for the cheese. We opted for staff to help manage the offerings and food and it was worth every penny. Chef Matt was busy assembling fresh hors hor d'oeuvres while Cindy and Mary were diligently attending to the guests. They mastered the art of being there when needed but not over doing it. They passed the appetizers which was such a classy touch to the experience. Matt took great care in preparing each and every item. He made them look as delicious as they were. I could go on and on about every little detail they executed perfectly. Every guest commented multiple times about how delicious the food was and how wonderfully it was presented. They arrived early, setup in perfect time for the event and then cleared everything out and wiped down the clubhouse kitchen as if they were never there. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Based on my experience, this company excelled at the trifecta of Service, Food, and Experience. Priceless catering was the key to make our party special for my parents. Bravo!
