This is the cutest coffee/bagel/ice cream spot I've ever been to. The person who took my order was absolutely lovely and the food came out quickly on a busy Sunday morning. Unfortunately I was not a fan of this bagel, it was a bit too toasted for my liking and it had way too many pickled onions and not enough salmon. I would not return for a bagel, but I would come back for the amazing homemade ice cream! They also have so much seating indoors and a back patio that is dog friendly.

We've been coming here for some time, I think probably from when this place started or at least from when it was way less elaborate than what it is today. They make very good coffee and matcha here and now they even make ice cream. There's plenty of seating and I hope the add some more outdoor seating soon. Service is always nice but can get slow when the place is busy. I tried the soft serve ice cream and it was ok too. We will keep supporting this place.

Finally got out to decent bagels and my only regret is that I didn't visit sooner. The shop itself is so cute, the service is lovely and the bagels are delicious. I only wish they had open faced bagels on the menu but they were happy to make it for me so no big deal.

Did takeout here for breakfast before a hike in the Brainard area - we split a Full Send breakfast sandwich with pickled shallots on Everything bagel, then got a simple cinnamon crunch bagel with whipped cream cheese. The sandwich was tasty but pretty heavy with all the meat and hashbrowns - could maybe benefit from some sort of sauce? I enjoyed the cinnamon bagel too - it had some crunchy bits and was a nice, chewy bagel.

These bagels are a hell of a lot more than decent! The main drag in Nederland is small but mighty. Some great places to eat around here. Decent Bagel is your pre-hike/ski fuel. They even have online ordering perfected to a T. You might miss the sign, but you won't miss the bright pink building. It's spacious inside, looks nothing like any bagel shop you've been to. Minimal decor and wood floors. Good amount of seating indoors and out, though many people take theirs to go. Bagels are what I consider a gourmet or artisan bagel. Made with plenty of TLC. Good chew and texture. I personally prefer a NY-style bagel. But for a cozy mountain town local spot you can't complain. +FULL SEND ($13) // egg, cheese, bacon, sausage and hashbrown. A BEC taken to the next level. More places need to implement these McDonald's style hash browns on their menus to begin with, let alone stuffing it between a bagel. There was a lot going on, though I'm glad I tried this behemoth breakfast sammie. Service was fine. I find it annoying when the person taking your order continues to text on their phone. Especially since they were out of everything bagels and we needed to know the bagels that were actually in stock. I know these are made daily, but c'mon people love their everything! Don't let that deter you. Decent Bagel is a must stop in Ned!

Awesome place in Nederland Co. Was their on a snowy, cold January day and found this wonderful bagel shop. Can't say more or better. Loved it. Try it.

Definitely a place to stop by. Super delicious and fresh bagels, super nice staff. We stopped by for post run breakfast and it was just the best. Also, make sure to try their cookies -- very good, worth trying!!!!

Delicious bagels and bagel Sammy's! The salt bagel is solid but was running low when we went for the second time.

If you're history buff, I encourage you to read about the history of each of the train cars on their website. Though the business has only been around for a few years, one of the cars was built in 1906, and all of them have a unique story to their name. As far as the shop is concerned, it's a standard cafe with coffee, tea, and breakfast food options. With the addition of kava if that's your jam. The best part of this place is checking out the various train cars, all different with various types of seating options. We ordered coffees, sandwiches, and their self-proclaimed "world famous" mini donuts. The sandwiches came out piping hot. I was actually impressed with the bacon egg and cheese. Generous serving of egg, especially. Much better than the bagel spot around the corner! The donuts were good, but you really need to eat them right away while they're hot. Nice addition of the maple bacon, and solid portion to split between a few people. Considering a few places I enjoyed going to in Nederland have changed concepts, I definitely prefer coming to Train Cars Coffee and Kava. Looking forward to trying them again and seeing more of what they offer!

It was not too sweet but nothing extraordinary for a matcha latte. Second visit, I ordered the Nutella chimney. I am not into extremely sweet pastries so I asked for easy Nutella spread. Anyway, it was delicious! The cinnamon sugar dough (chimney) was fresh and light! The bakery is small and cute. They hear ice cream and other sweets along with sweet and savory chimneys.

This was a nice surprise for lunch. We did not have any of the specialty beverages or ice cream,…read morejust some chimneys. Overall, a good lunch with a few small issues. I had the turkey chimney and I found it very good. Lots of meat and vegetables. The bread felt very fresh. Though plentiful, the turkey felt a bit basic (compared to the ham). I also sampled the caprese sandwich (which is split open--not a chimney, but the same bread). Once again, the veggies really shown through here. Next time, we would have the basalmic glaze on the side as it was a bit heavy for our tastes and soaked through a bit. The cheese was hearty. There was a slight miscommunication about our two other meals, for kids. One was correct (the PB&J). However, I think they toasted the bread? It was a bit more crunchy than we would have expected instead of soft. This, unfortunately, made it unpalatable for one kid. I thought it tasted good, but the toasting (or stale bread?) wasn't the best choice. The other was supposed to be a ham sandwich, plain. But instead we got a ham, havarti, and egg chimney (which, looking over the receipt, I was charged for). That one is on me for not correcting the order. This change also made it undesirable for kid #2. Upon my trying it, the bread, a chimney, was equally as good. The ham here was better than my turkey. There was a lot of egg. This was not so good if you're my kid, but probably very good if that's the actual sandwich you want. We had a sweet chimney with nutella. It was very good! Seating is very limited. They have a small-ish space next door. The table we were at was broken, but others looked to be in better shape.

It's been on the "must go" list for a while but I finally had a chance to visit it on a beautiful mid-February day today. It sure was worth the drive and time all the way from the south Denver. The moment I stepped inside, the warm welcoming atmosphere was sensed. As soon as the lady upfront greeted me cordially, I felt more comfortable and relaxed. The instantaneous gratification hit me where I almost uttered "I am glad that I took the time to come here!" I wanted to peruse the menu. To my "Give me a moment" statement, the kind lady said "Of course, take your time. We also have a Valentine's Day special drink right here!". It was a white chocolate based mocha which sounded quite sweet so I asked her if it was sweet to which she said "It's very sweet but we can always adjust it to half the syrup!" All kinds of considerate words were made in each of her reply. I decided to go simple today; I went with the drip coffee which comes with unlimited free refills. The lady gave me one of the cups and told me where the pot that contained the drip was located. Alongside the pot, there was a super mini refrigerator that contained two jars of cold milk: one is half and half and the other is oat milk. What a kind care the shop does to keep them chilled. The simple drip coffee was just what I needed; it hit the spot. And tasted clean with no burnt notes at all. Quality coffee indeed. As I was immersed in this review writing in the ambient setting, the shop started to fill with guests. Although it's so tucked in this little mountain town, there appear to be "coffee fanatic fans" that know this place. And like me, I assume that many of them are not the local town folk. There is no wonder why they are drawn to it; they know where to find great coffee spots. I loved every single bit of this cozy place. My recommendation is only one of the multitude of others that know this place.
