The cashier who helped us was very friendly. They have a self-serve kiosk, for those paying with credit card. Their digital menu above the register is inconvenient because it cycles through screens, so if you miss a certain section, you have to wait for it to circle back. The options on the kiosk didn't perfectly match the options on either the digital or printed menu, which was a bit confusing. I ordered the plant-based burger and added jalapeños and avocado. The burger was large and served on a thick bun. The patty was smashed, so it was the perfect texture. It was tasty. I absolutely loved their fries. They were extra crispy. A medium was definitely big enough to share amongst 2 or 3 people. The restroom was clean.

To start, we shared the crispy brussel sprouts Charleston style. These were delicious with the tangy sauce and large flakes of parmesan cheese. For my main, I had the brunch wrap. It comes with chips, but I swapped for fries for an additional charge. The wrap was a good size; I had half and saved the rest for leftovers. It was tasty, but not a ton of flavor. The tater tots were nice and crispy and I enjoyed the fresh tomatoes and avocado. They gave me a huge portion of crinkle cut fries, which also would've been great with a little more seasoning, but they were good when dipped in mayo. My husband got the shrimp and grits and appreciated the large portion size as well. I had a lemonade to drink. It was refreshing since it wasn't overly sweet. Service was great. If you're a burger place with fries that taste great without the need for a sauce or condiment, you're doing something right. The French toast burger was likewise fantastic, combining sweet and savory in a great way. To drink, we all got a communal pitcher of the only frozie they had available at the time: a kind of jungle juice vodka slushie. It, too, was great--worthy of multiple rounds. It was honestly uncomfortable to watch. A restaurant should be welcoming, especially to families. No one expects a baby to stay silent the entire time, and a few minutes of crying shouldn't result in customers being treated like they did something wrong. Situations like this say a lot about how a business treats people. Instead of patience or compassion, they chose embarrassment and exclusion. Definitely not the kind of place I'd recommend if you're looking for a friendly, family-friendly environment.
