This place is located across the street from Super Taqueria. They have about 7-8 kitchen setups that you can walk around and look at. They aren't out of HGTV so come with your own idea and imagination. We really liked the grey shaker cabinets that were new to the fleet, but when we sat down to talk numbers, they only came in grey. Literally no other color. Not even white. A plus was that the sales lady was very patient and even built out our vision on her computer. We walked away having a 3D version of our vision, but was disappointed that they had no other colors in that shaker style. Purchased cabinets from here. They are decent quality, there were a few things I noticed after they were installed. One cabinet door was cracked, and you can tell it was a manufacturing issue. STAY AWAY from this business without ethics! The design services may look great, but they do not stand behind even the simplest of standard business practices, like delivering the product you ordered and paid for! Deco requires that you make full payment before you can proceed to loading dock to collect your fully packaged new kitchen, which you're not allowed to see or ask questions about. All service ends when you write your final check. When I got my new kitchen home, contractors standing by to install it, I discovered that parts were missing, colors were wrong, cabinets were damaged or broken. This is my fourth home that I have furnished my house with cabinets from Deco Kitchen Cabinet & Bath. I have a house in Arizona that I had to replaced some cabinets in the kitchen and laundry room three years ago. I couldn't find anyone who can help me out for a fair price. The pantry for the ovens was wayyy to small our contractor noticed after he Installed yet another mistake brought on by them! They will not replace it and want us to pay for a new pantry for a mistake that they once again made, our kitchen would have been done in a week had it not been for the incompetent people here we are now a month in! We remodeled a kitchen for a client. Just a few months after installation the client noticed issues with 3 doors, 2 of them had variations in the stain, 1 the clear coating starting to bubble. In my experience of remodeling and building as a licensed General Contractor I have dealt with different manufacturers and suppliers, I know this is not normal and if it happens the suppliers have corrected this issue. Well not with Deco, they will not replace or even let me purchase the doors, they only care about profiting demanding that I purchase the entire cabinet and not satisfy the costumer. Manager has 0 costumer service skills. After I decided to take my business to them during a pandemic when hardly anyone was profiting this is how they treat a returning client of many years. I will no longer purchase anything else from Deco. They shield behind horrible and unfair to the costumer store policy, one that no one notices until an issue arise. We visited Deco on recommendation that they carried the particular granite we were looking for, at the lowest price in the Bay Area. It's true! They have the cheapest price on this particular one! Not to say that they have a huge selection of granite ( 10 different slab colors), some of which are out of stock, but it's worth a look. Deco is another cheap remodel store, not in terms of quality, but in terms of price. Granite slabs run you anywhere from $70 for the really cheap rose colored crap to $400 for something nicer. They have modular cabinets, but once again, only in 3 finishes. Their drawers are all dovetailed, and soft close, so it's worth a look if you are on a budget, and okay with limited finish color selection. The staff here is friendly, but be prepared to wait. Many other budget remodelers are waiting to have their plans drawn up by the staff. They have stainless sinks, a couple double basin undermounts, single basin drop ins, and lots of double basin drop ins. We found a rather large selection of tile for backsplashes, and marble/travertine for floors. Wood floors leave something to be desired, but overall, it's a good deal. 1.)Explained to the designer that I wanted to fit a standard fridge. They explained the fridge opening would be 71 inches in height. After installed, the fridge opening was 69 inches in height. Apparently there was no space left on top, or even the sides, for wiggle room. A standard fridge wouldn't fit. I've never redesigned a kitchen so was looking for a little guidance on this, but apparently these design errors are the customers fault. Not sure why they didn't recommend shorter cabinets over the fridge. Called them to exchange for shorter cabinets since this seemed to be an oversight, but they wanted to charge for the new smaller one. Not a great policy. 2.) Not quality material. Right out of the box, already noticed cracks, dings, and dents on the white shaker cabinet doors. Blind corner cabinet hinges are a little wonky so the gap between the double door is a little wider in the middle compared to where the hinges are, giving a sort-of warped look. Initially, we were deciding between Deco and KZ and chose Deco because of price. Looking back, we would have spent a couple hundred extra for a better quality product and experience. read more

I open the boxes and find out 2 of the cabinets was not the right one that I ordered. Will not fit my kitchen setup. My experience with Deco was about just buying the cabinets, I had my own handyman do the installation. So this review is purely about the buying experience. I liked the store, good display to help me understand different options. I bought an extra cabinet to match the existing cabinets in the house. By mistake, I ordered the 40" long instead of the 34" long cabinets. Deco was happy to take the cabinet back(unopened) and replace it with a 34" cabinet(and refund me the difference of about 10%). So I'm very happy to see good customer service, especially when things went wrong. The order was ready in a very reasonable time. I would have given 5 stars if the sales person explained these options to me: 1. Different length options, 34" vs 40". 2. 1 shelf vs 2 shelves inside the cabinet. I now have to drill holes and place the additionally bought shelf myself. If it was made at factory, I would have probably saved some time. 3. Slow close door mechanism option. read more

Earlier this year I started my kitchen remodel. I decided to do most of the installation myself to save on cost, except for the countertop and wall tiles, I hired an installer for that. I have never done a kitchen remodel before so I didn't have a clear plan. I went to Deco Kitchen and they have a variety of cabinets, colors and countertops choices. I was helped by one of the staff, Sing . I gave him a rough measurement of my kitchen size and he started to draft a design of my kitchen. I asked a lot of questions and Sing was patient in answering them as well as helping me in selecting which cabinets and countertop to buy. I went with the cherry cabs and quartz counter. And to assure the design accuracy, Brian came to my house to take measurements to validate the design. The whole process above took about a month going back and forth as I had minor changes here and there. Both Sing and Jenny were very patient with me, which I appreciate. After making the purchase, Jenny told me if there were any problems or defects with any of the cabinets, I could bring back for a replacement. And I did have to replace a couple of doors and changed the crown mouldings. I have to say for a do it yourselfer, I could not have a better experience and guidance than Deco. BEWARE - BAIT AND SWITCH!!! I am remodeling a condo for resale, and was referred to Deco for cabinets and granite. After my initial visit, I was ready to give this business a 4-5 star review, based upon friendly service, efficient quoting, and competitive prices. I spent at least an hour with their saleswoman, going over granite and cabinet options, showing her photo examples of exactly what I wanted, before settling upon my final choices. I was very pleased with the estimate provided, and returned several days later to seal the deal and officially place my order. A different person was assigned to help me, but no sweat - I had a printed copy of my quote, complete with CAD drawing, and I assumed that they also had the info stored in their computer system. When the invoice was produced, I even compared it line by line against the quote, and confirmed that they were identical. The order was placed and I sent my contractor to pick up the cabinets the following week. When my contractor delivered the cabinets back to my place he got straight to work, installing the first one.....and when I stopped by to check on progress, I was horrified to find that they had sent him back with the WRONG cabinets. Explanation: the cabinets were the correct style, but the wrong color. I had specifically chosen a WHITE color scheme - white cabinets with white granite - and had discussed this choice AT LENGTH with the woman who produced my quote - I showed her numerous photos of the desired layout/color scheme, and repeatedly referred to their white cabinet/granite display, which was conveniently located right behind her desk. At one point, I did briefly inquire about their cheaper, honey colored option, but when she said that white cabinets were a bit pricier, I said no problem, I really really want the white. When I went back days later and completed the order, of course I never questioned whether they were ordering me the correct color. However, the cabinets now sitting in my kitchen, half installed, are ALL WRONG. I freaked out and called Deco. The guy who answered the phone was polite enough, but told me that that we will need to return the cabinets, have them "inspected" by their salespeople, and then wait another 3+ days to get the replacements in....and he emphasized how they normally couldn't even accept a cabinet that had been drilled or installed, that they were making a major policy exception to even consider exchanging these cabinets. I was left feeling very unsure of what would happen if I even attempted this exchange. After giving myself time to calm down, I called again the following morning to ask a few questions - namely, what color did the original quote actually specify? I noticed there was NOTHING regarding color on my estimate, but the actual payment invoice did say "Verona Shaker." A bit suspicious. The salesperson confirmed that the original quote was indeed for the honey colored cabinets, NOT the white. HOW WAS THIS POSSIBLE? As explained above, I spent at least an hour with the salesperson on my quote, and I was as specific as I could possibly be. I am now left to believe that the original salesperson, Jessica, deliberately used the lower priced cabinets for quoting, figuring that it was an easy bait-and-switch for when I picked them up and saw what I was getting.....at that point, I'd be under pressure just to fork over the extra 30% or so for the white color scheme I had originally counted on receiving. At this point, to expedite my reno and to avoid ever having to deal with these people again, I'm having my contractor paint these cabinets white. Not ideal, but preferable to getting sucked into a big drama over returns/exchanges and price differences where I'm 99% sure I'll end up getting screwed anyhow :/. In summary, BEWARE of doing any business with these shady folks. Make sure you specify exactly what you want, and get ALL the details in writing. Their prices seem great, but it's not so great if you are not actually getting what you ordered! I naively trusted that they wouldn't take advantage of their customers (much less a customer who is both five months pregnant and battling cancer - wearing a chemo turban and all!), but I guess that was my mistake :(. I have already warned my contractor, my RE Agent, and the several friends I'd referred to Deco to avoid this business at all costs. I went in to look at granite only to find that nobody wanted to help, but that isn't really why I'm leaving one star. I also noted their cabinets, which although priced cheaply were not as nice as some other similar Chinese import places I've worked with or looked at. I later found out they are one of the only South Bay vendors for EuroKitchen hoods, a Hayward importer of nice but inexpensive cool looking kitchen hoods (I've owned one before). I called Deco and asked for the price hoping to avoid mail order or driving to Hayward. You won't believe their markup! $300! The retail cost (as on the Hayward co. website) was $379 but Deco charges $679 for the same thing!! Makes me think that nothing much else they have is appropriately priced. There are many many businesses of this type in the Bay area - I'd be suspicious of this one. read more

Just AVOID doing business here. It has been a ridiculous mess. Their prices are competitive, however, there is a reason why everyone's review is awful for them. Customer service is poor. Cabinets have problems. We bought cabinets from these folks and paid for installation. The cabinets were basic and picked because it matched what was currently in the house. The cabinets were not high end so we were not expecting anything beyond 1) cabinets that were installed properly 2) cabinets in new undamaged condition 3) crown molding and filler parts need to be installed professionally. We ordered 3 pantries, so there are 12 doors and 12 total shelves. We paid for custom cutting because industry standard is 24" and the depth we needed was 20". All the shelves were cut. However, every single one was jagged, dangerous to handle, and some were even cracked due to their custom cutting! Additionally, we paid for crown-molding and fillers to be installed so the cabinets blended into the wall and it was poorly installed. The crown molding did not match and the additional caulking used was done poorly. To remedy the situation, we contact the store nearly daily to get a response. They were some what responsive by email so we thought this was going to be fine. In fact, we were encouraged to go back to the store and review what they would bring in the future. Myself and my mother in law went to the store. We were brought back to the warehouse to inspect pieces of shelves. The manager Brain brought us back to the warehouse where they cut and assemble all their cabinets. Both of us, including very pregnant me, was left back there for nearly 15minutes. It's a crazy mess back there and there were fumes of glue etc, saw dust every where, and boxes/debris every where. This is not a place to stand around in. I had to go back upfront and basically ask him why no one was helping us and why no one seem to understand why we were there. He sent us back there 2 more times and the same thing repeated itself. I basically told him off in the store for 1) wasting our time 2) not being prepared to show us shelves 3) and either fix the problem or get it all out of the house immediately. He also did not seem to think it could be a huge liability to leave two women back there in an unsafe environment. Unbelievable! This place had a decent show room but nothing you get will look like this. I strongly urge you to buy from another store I am surprise these people stay in business. My mother in law and I were so upset by this experience. I plan to file with the BBB as well. Prices are fair, not super cheap especially when compared to online. The reason we even tried with them was because they were not far from our house and they seemed easy to work with. This was a horrible mistake. Want to update my review. Had Deco come out & re-install granite counter top that I had bought from them, but had installed initially by another contractor. The counter cracked badly, and after some difficulty getting Deco back out to look at the counter, it was determined that is was improperly installed in the first place. I paid to have a new granite counter installed by Deco and they did a very good job! Would have given 4 stars now, except for the initial difficulty I had in getting Deco to come out and look at the granite to determine the "cracking problem" after it had been installed the first time. Learned my lesson regarding trying to cut costs by hiring a local contractor/handyman to install granite. It takes professional to install granite counters-it's not easy. They messed up my order. I paid for a guy from the store to came over and measured my kitchen just to make sure all the cabinets fit in my space. They managed to sell me the kitchen with one cabinet door that got stuck on the microwave door and won't open. I came and complaint and they then want to redesign my kitchen. All the cabinets are all ready hung up, if I re-do the design, it will take at least another 2 days and cost more in labor. If you want your kitchen to come out they just the way you want, do not buy from this place. read more

We bought new cabinets and countertops through them via our project manager and contractor for our house in santa cruz. i went out to see the finished kitchen yesterday to find two major very noticeable flaws on the white quartz countertops. they appear to about a nickel size dark non glossy spot on an otherwise white glossy counter. apparently our contractor left the protective covering on them during travel and installation to, well, protect them, and when he removed it after installing, he discovered the flaws. we contacted deco and of course got the response of it wasn't their fault and they wont do anything about it since the counters were already installed. their loss as this contractor and interior design company will never use them again now nor refer them out. read more

Multiple times the measurements of the cabinets were off and you don't really know if it's off unless you put it in. Very disappointed! there measurement is off 3 inches and they want us to Pay extra for the 3 inch filler we requested. We wanted to return it, but it was already installed. Bathroom sink is very small,16 x10 We found out after we cut our granite, our order was 12x18. At last step to finish my kitchen remodeling, I found out that one of the doors was tilted. I thought it was simple to fix it. I spend one hour, tried to adjust the door but I could not. I called the store and half-hour later, the store's owner, himself, came over and fixed it in ten minutes. What a great service!
