For being a really busy and 'booked up' guy, somehow Joe always has time to pop by within a day when we have a need for a plumber. On several occasions Joe has saved our toilets, hes installed our new dishwasher, replaced our outside water faucets, fixed a leak that was in the house because of the previous outside faucets, expertly handled a gas leak that involved the city (no for real), fixed and replaced a water line that was broken by an inept Best Buy delivery/installation, replaced our water heater and even gotten our whole sewage system back up and running. Joe is kind, generous, absolutely knowledgeable in his field and doesn't try to upsell you. If he mentions something needs doing, it most definitely needs doing. We had a bit of an emergency with our shower leaking. After checking out You Tube, it was apparent that I needed to replace the Posi Temp cartridge (Moen). I didn't have all the proper tools and experience and decided to just Yelp for help. In this case for a professional plumber. To my dismay, most of the companies that replied weren't available to send anyone until Friday to fix our leak. That's 2 more days of leaking! Joe, however, made a way to squeeze us in. Very thankful for that. He was professional, courteous, informative, and respectful. Just excellent customer service all around. Our invoice cost $259.50. He replaced both the shower as well as the garden tub's cartridges. It was on its last leg, actually so we went ahead and bit the bullet. I bought one from Home Depot for $42 earlier and he provided the other for the same price. The total for our plumbing needs today was around $300 bucks total. I've been using Dedicated Plumbing since 2009. Joe did the plumbing in 2 of my commercial spaces and has helped me dozens of times since then on shoddy work that was done before I did the buildout. He's saved me thousands of dollars by checking and pursuing warranties and is always thorough and willing to chat with my landlords to get any plumbing issues resolved. He never tries to upsell me anything and thoroughly explains everything he's doing. I own a large hair salon which means we use a lot of water and have been in some tricky situations. Joe has been able to handle everything we throw his way and always has a great attitude. He never leaves a mess behind and a few times he's even cleaned up mine! He also doesn't judge me or make me feel bad when I tell him I tried to DIY some plumbing and failed. At this point we consider him part of our team and personally, I consider him a friend. I will never use anyone else for my plumbing needs. Side note: I value him and his expertise so much that when we had a waste pipe bust at the shop a couple months ago making our employee bathroom unusable, I waited almost a week for him to get back from a trip to fix it vs calling someone else (which he gave me a recommendation to do). Solid work but make sure you have them bid the job before hiring. The hourly rate seems fine but the amount of time really adds up. For example, I was extremely frustrated when Joe showed up for 2 hours, did not do any work, left unexpectedly saying he would return later and did not return. In the final bill, I was charged 2 hours for this time. Invoice stated that he "read the directions, carried in some equipment, and spoke to customer". This is verbatim. Again, work seems fine. I simply made the mistake of not getting a price upfront. read more

Joe is an excellent plumber. At least for this particular problem, I did not have to wait on him to show during a four hour window--it was not an emergency, so I was able to schedule it a few days out. We scheduled a specific time to meet and he was on time. He wore his KN95 mask and shoe covers the whole time. He was very methodical in looking for the source of our leak. I'm revising this review to reflect the dissatisfaction we have with Joe. I neglected to state that Joe left the old water softener behind rather than discarding it. Additionally we called him back because the water, rather than being softened, was harsh and salty. He refused to return to pick up the old water softener unless we agreed to pay him to install a water filtration system. He advised us to look online and find out how to program the water softner. But this is something we had paid him to do. He just didn't do it properly. Ultimately we contacted another company which came out and reprogrammed the system after tested the water and discovered that the water softener wasn't treating the water at all. This was, of course, an additional charge. We do not recommend Joe. read more

Outstanding professionalism, communication, and reliability. My 12 year-old tankless water heater quit on Thursday. I started calling plumbers on Friday and Joe was one of only a couple who actually answered his phone. We discussed the issue and came up with a game plan. He ordered the part we decided I needed and he had the shipping expedited. Joe took the time and made the effort to keep me updated. He came out to my house on Monday when the part was delivered and went right to work. He and Doug even took the time to check out a dishwasher issue we were having. Joe is a fabulous guy and an excellent plumber. I've used him twice, once when I first moved into my relatively new house when the water heater was broken. Joe did some research and discovered it was still under warranty--saving me hundreds of dollars!! This week, I discovered a puddle in my yard. I had a broken PVR regulator. I needed it fixed, but also needed to leave for work in two hours. Joe got it all done pronto--even the digging! He also explained how everything worked both times he did work for me. These guys are Pro's !! I had called them to install a kitchen faucet that I had purchased. They were prompt about answering the call. While Phil was installing the faucet he noticed that the hot water valve was frozen and could not be shut off. He came prepared with the necessary parts, so professional. He didn't need to leave the job to go purchased the parts. That's what I call being prepared for any eventuality. These guys are the best. I will refer them to friends and family. Our hot water heater was not keeping up lately. It was over 10 years old and time to go. I contacted Joe at Dedicated Plumbing based on a recommendation from a friend. He was very professional and showed up right on time. He explained the process and what needs to be upgraded to bring my system up to current code. While he and his helper were working I remembered that I also had a small leak on my disposal. I showed it to him and he found a crack in the housing of the disposal. He agreed to replace that as well while they were there. All the work was done within a few hours and I couldn't be happier! I am a diy guy, but I hate plumbing!
