Just bought my second used Jetta from Deel. Salesmen are friendly and there's not too much pressure. It was easy and did not take all day.

I just purchased a new Jetta from Deel and I must admit it was as non-hassle and pleasant as a car buying experience could be. Salesman, Andrei, was super friendly, knowledgeable, and no pressure what so ever. It was a cash deal so when signing paperwork with Armando, he was also super friendly and the whole experience was very positive. My family has driven VW's for many years, and we do our service with Tony (another gem) at Deel, but I am always untrusting when dealing with sales. I would highly recommend Andrei at Deel. Made a mistake by not checking reviews before bringing my car here. They lied to me about the work that needed doing, as well as overcharging me for the work they'd done. It was a real battle to get them to release my car to take it somewhere else. A very hard sell. I'd avoid them. read more

It's sad to say I wasted two trips to come and lease a car and at the end it turns out the sales person Diego was not as as transparent as he seemed or knowledgeable. He was great during the test drive and very patient. But Jesus he is the worse sales man I've ever had to deal with. I have leased cars for over six years. Diego at first stated his manager was giving me an "incentive" to get out of my lease with Nissan. Then it turned out that they were adding my "incentive" to the overall value of the car. They stated that they were giving me a car for 23500 and they were going to pay me 2120 to get out of my lease as an "incentive". After looking at the numbers carefully the incentive was added to the 23500 which made the car worth 26,000. So all along I thought I was getting a deal for 23500 and they were adding the incentive to the overall cost of the car. It took a manager to break this down. If the sales person would've divulged the true car amount I wouldn't have wasted a second trip. I would've thought they would be willing to work with a customer even after the lawsuit with their diesel cars. Maybe this is a sign of the universe to stay away. read more

The S/O and I went here without looking at the reviews, just to check out a few of the newer models and see if I was ready to give up my Golden Bullet in lieu of a new car with snazzy and useful bells and whistles (yes, I've named my car to the exact opposite of what it actually is). They have an ok selection - it's a pretty small place and their showroom is crowded. The one thing I did like is that we were out in the lot for at least 5 minutes and no one came up to us. I know that's usually a sign of bad service, but at car dealerships, I tend to navigate into the opposite direction. I would rather walk around, feeling no pressure, and just look. When we were ready, we went into the showroom and one of the sales associates came up to us after a few minutes to ask us if we needed help. She was so very sweet and helped us come up with some rates of what they could do for payments, etc. I would buy a car here if they gave me the right deal, but at this point, I don't really use my car all that much, and I'm absolutely in love with not having car payments as well as not having a car where I feel like I'm going to go on a renegade mission to find the person who put a ding in the side of my door. When I'm ready to give that up, I might go back here to buy my car :) read more

Nobody could pay me to return to these slimeballs. My ABS break light and then break pad warning light came on today, of course it's the day before I'm leaving town and my normal local mechanic couldn't get parts in time. I called Deel, and they squeezed me in for an assessment. I was careful to get them to agree to an estimate before doing any of the work, no problem, they agreed. The website offered 20% off labor and VW parts, and they had no idea about it (ya right) and only would honor it if I brought in a printed copy of their own coupon. Pendejos. The service guy, Dominick, was nice enough. But then came time to start the work. They wanted $110 to JUST LOOK AT IT. Ie, read the computer warnings, and look at the frigging break pads. Already he was starting to talk it up..."oh, yeah, if the break pad light came on, it means they're REALLY bad off. Or it's the sensor, or the sensor component, then again it could be the axle..." (What the? He made no sense, except that he must've figured since I'm female I must not know cars...idiot.) So I quickly called my local mechanic, he got me in, and found the problem in oh, 12 minutes, charged me um, ZERO for the diagnostic testing because THAT'S HOW IT'S SUPPOSED TO WORK. The part was very minor (bad wire that leads into the sensor) and my breakpads are FINE. Cabrones. Lesson learned: always get a second opinion! No matter what. I've done this and over the course of the past 2 years, my local mechanic has saved me well over 2K bucks. He's located on US-1 and sw 80th st. The Shell station. 305.666.0414. mediocre at best. Took my car for two trips and scheduling appointments was a nightmare. I had to call a few times to get an appointment, they wouldn't return my calls (after waiting a couple days each time). Drop off/pick up is uncomfortable and needs some personal attention and communication. As for the service I didn't have back luck with over charging or up selling. It isn't worth my time to drive 15-20 miles out of my way to a dealership. read more

I have a Vw Jetta with an outside extended coverage. I came for a couple of problems specifically the lighter fuse that are not working and a very annoying thumping and squeaking noise in the rear. I was told it would be $117 to diagnose the car which is usually not covered under the warranty and I was fine with that, but then he proceeded to tell me it would be $117 PER DIAGNOSES which makes no sense. In order to make a diagnoses if its required to check other areas of the car then that's what you have to do. So I left it at the dealership and told him for any additional charges he has to call me and receive my consent. Usually when someone is knowledgable they have some type of insight. However, the guy I dealt with seemed completely unsure about everything. Finally I receive a call from my warranty company and out of all the repair facilities in the NATION they do not work with deel due to dishonestly and poor work ethics. Picked up my car went to Esserman and the service person was a able to tell me right away what's wrong and possibilities without even driving the car and seem very confident in what he was doing and talking about. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because I've order from the parts department and they've always been helpful and diligent with their work. read more

I went to Deel Volkswagen in Doral today to get an oil change. I had a key for supra ( I am a realtor) attached to my car key. They lost the key. They never apologized or checked the cameras to see who took it. Awful! read more

WORST SERVICE DEPARTMENT! I have been going to Deel VW since I purchased my first Jetta in 2012, since then I felt that I was been ripped off, it first started with the cable that is inside the glovebox supposedly it was bad. WRONG. it was the whole console that was messed up. (first mis diagnostic) .after that I placed the order for the replacement of the console, it arrived a week later. but unfortunately i had an incident in the car which led to a crack on the screen. even though the order was placed for a new console they could not do a goodwill change for the new one, I had to stay with the crack one or if I wanted to change it, it would be $900. so I decided to stay with the car like that. the only thing they did was to change the oil of the car; a noise was coming from the engine went 2-3 times would not know what it was at the end went back and they said the compressor of the AC was bad, the warranty covered it after going 4 times. 3 months ago I traded my car for the 2015 Jetta TDI, after 4000 the engine was making a loud vibrating noise. took the car to the service department, they said the "Clutch" was about to give out (what after 4000 miles, and Ive driven manual cars before, Crazy). I told them that i could not be, they answered by saying the engine smelled like burned clutch and the gears were slipping. So I decided to take it to another mechanic to take a look at it, they agreed that the clutch was good and it was not slipping. The next day I went back to the department to speak with the service manager, which basically told me it was my fault that the car make the noise and they would not inspect the clutch and replace it, that I wanted it to inspect it they would charge me $600 for labor, just to take down the transmission. I said no, they are crazy I know it is not the clutch they just wanted the money to take the transmission down. they even offered me a courtesy car to leave them the car (which in other times they never offered). and even after being discriminated for my age by the lady service manager they could not help me. Then I decided to take my car to Esserman VW with the same problem. left it there in the AM, picked it up in the afternoon, the diagnostic was a lose screw in the heater that was making the noise, fixed it and did not pay a dime for it. why did Deel tell me that it was the clutch? completely rip off. I would not suggest this dealer to anyone. read more

Stay away from this place. I have never had such a difficult time returning a lease. The process only became difficult after they found out I would not be leasing another VW. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!! I WILL NEVER EVER PURCHASE OR LEASE ANYTHING FROM DEEL VOLKSWAGEN EVER AGAIN! The Dealership makes it sound simple to return a lease car on a Lease Buyout program- HOWEVER.... They take your car in early make it sound as though its not problem at all- they keep you their for 5 hours plus. The entire time you are there you are left with the impression that the dealership is inspecting your current leased vehicle that you are turning in so that you can get into your next leased deal. The Dealer even goes as far as to say "Wow this car still looks like new!" ITs a GIANT BATE AND SWITCH! Let me tell you this is NOT the CASE! They have you sign massive amounts of paperwork. Buried in that paperwork is wording stating you are releasing the car to Volkswagon. Its all done so quickly that you as the buyer are not aware that they have not inspected your vehicle. 2 Months after you are into your next lease you get a ridiculous bill telling how much you owe on the first lease. Then the Dealership acts as though this is not their fault because in the mountain of paper work you signed they state you knew that the inspection would occur at a later date and well after you have gone and signed your life away on the next deal! Then the dealership pleads they have nothing to do with being able to help you because its a different part of the Volkswagen company- Even when all of the parties are representing the Volkswagon Brand. TRUST ME- LESSONED LEARNED! I will make sure from all points going forward that I am present for any inspection when my daughter turns this next car in. Most importantly - I WILL NEVER EVER PURCHASE OR LEASE ANYTHING FROM DEEL VOLKSWAGEN EVER AGAIN! I have never ever seen anything like this before. He asked a colleague to drive me to a bank, then to a restaurant and back, while my car was getting an oil change. 2 stars because they have been able to complete a simple oil change. I have had a few repair experiences here that were terrible. So bad in fact i havent even been there in two years and still carry enough memory of my time there to be inclined to write a review. I was very dissatisfied with the service technician Arturo. He would never call me to report changes or general updates on the progress of the repairs, I always had to call him. This is how my final experience went: I was making repairs due to a break-in that damaged my car, it was an insurance claim. When I got the car back, a week later, the passenger front seat track was completely broken, it wouldn't slide anymore. From sliding the seat back and forth to get in and out to the repairs needed behind it (2 door car) the technicians had broken something that wasn't broken before. The seat was now stuck and I couldn't slide it up to let people in the back, big problem. I notified Arturo right away, who told me there was nothing he could do. I told him his guys caused the problem and demonstrated how it likely happened, going in and out and roughly sliding the seat. He said he could work up a quote but things that happen during repairs that are different than what they were working on are additional services. I asked to speak with the manager because an argumentative scene was unfolding. His name was John, and the impression you got of him totally erased any remaining faith you may have had in Deel VW repairs. He was not dignified, compassionate, understanding, cooperative, or helpful. Instead his appearance was shoddy and weasely, and he was unwilling to assume responsibility for what happened. He in fact told me that " if we are driving your car to test the wheel or something and the engine blows up, we aren't responsible for that happening." Valid point, but inapplicable to this situation, and infuriating to hear. VW ended up fortunate that the seat track went down as a warranty claim. If it wouldn't have been under warranty this problem would have gotten worse. So now I go to Esserman VW for service, Bismarck does a great job over there. read more

I recently purchased a 2013 Jetta SE with convenience package in blue. I love it!!! I worked with Stephan Botbol who was informative, very professional, listened to all of my frustrations, and met my demands (which is a difficult task). We looked at different vehicles and he detailed the differences between models. If there was any possible way to review with 0 stars, I would. I have never dealt with this dealership but had an altercation with one of their employees right on bird road. Needless to say, I would never waste my time with these type of people, and this review should be a testament to their low employee standards. I was passing the dealership when I noticed a new Passat recklessly speeding up the merge lane next to me. Before I knew it, he was cutting me off and made me swerve almost hitting the car next to me. I honked my horn, then the harassment started. He followed close next to me yelling obscenities and threats, and after about a mile, he sped away. The only way I was able to identify him as an employee was by his Deal Volkswagen polo shirt. I would never spend a second in their presence for such juvenile behavior. read more

I brought in my 2012 Jetta for several reasons. One was to have a replacement key programmed after the original had been lost by a valet recently. The other was to have a rear axle inspection per recall notice. Robert Frank is the most outstanding service representative I have ever encountered. He provides personal and detailed attention. On this particular visit he noticed the ignition key was somewhat difficult to turn and had the ignition cylinder replaced per warranty. We had been unaware there was a problem. I always leave the dealership feeling like I have been carefully listened to and know that everything has been taken care of in a timely way. read more

SERVICE REVIEW: I arrived at 7am for my (scheduled) oil change and didn't get out of there until 9am. As they are not open on weekends, I am now realizing it is impossible to get a oil change here without having to miss work, which is a bummer. I went on Wednesday, Sept. 14th to pick up my daughter's car that I had dropped off on Monday Sept. 12th. She had paid for it with her credit card - and the service tech told her it would be fine for me to come pick up the car. When I came for the car, he made me wait 1/2 hour before he told me, not too nicely, that I couldn't take the car because they wouldn't allow the charge unless my daughter signed for it. The only way they would give me the car is if I paid. I told him I understood - I wasn't going to pay but could I please get a ride home - being that they kept the car longer than promised and it was very inconvenient. He told me they wouldn't give me a ride because no one was available, and it really wasn't their problem that I have been inconvenienced. No it really wasn't Volkswagen's problem, but the attitude was rude and condescending, and quite frankly I didn't care for it - what ever happened to friendly helpful service? He wasn't helpful at all and in fact was rather indignant that I ask for a ride! I own a Lexus - I have never ever been treated so disrespectfully. They have always helped with transportation when I've brought my car in. I am truly sorry that I bought this car for my daughter. I have been considering buying a new car and looking at the luxury Volkswagen models - not after today - I would never ever want to have to take my car to be serviced there and be treated that way. Also, the reason I was inconvenienced was because the car was not ready when promised - so I thought the least they can do was give me a ride home. WOW HOW RUDE!!!! read more

My first experience with the dealership was in 2007, when I purchased a Wolfsburg model of Jetta. The person attending to me was Ivan Alvarez, a competent, helpful and honest salesperson who is now a sales manager.. I would like to post this review because in spite of encountering honest and reliable people like Ivan Alvarez at this dealership, the whole philosophy and attitude of Volkswagen in the United States has been converted into a 'ruthless money-making machine' which is an insult to the integrity of Volkswagen in Germany... I have driven different models of Golf and Jetta in Europe since 1979, without the slightest inconvenience or experiencing unpleasant results of any kind... I returned to the dealership a month ago, primarily because of my confidence in Ivan Alvarez . Having spoken with him prior to my visit, I had hoped to trade in my ex Jetta (With 33,000 miles and in pristine condition), in exchange for a Golf, better suited for my purpose. My unpleasant experience with the dealership started at that point, as I was told that I could not have a Golf if I expected the value of my Wolfsburg to be considered as part of payment! his decision was made by the dealer's Manager, whose name I do not know. I was then given the only option of choosing a Jetta which I did, made a partial payment by credit card and was told to issue a check (for the exact amount I was told to) by the dealership's accountant. The new car started showing alarm signals only 24 hours later!. As I contacted my sales person Rob via the number provided, I surprisingly heard the voice of the accountant telling me 'You owe us money! when are you coming bye?' Shocked by the vulgarity of the tone, I called Rob to discuss the alarm signals and was told to take the car to VW Service (45 miles away from my home, and during my working hours) to find the cause. I made the long journey the following day, lost several hours of time and pay, and was reassured that the problem had been resolved. Hardly 24 hours later, I encountered the same problem with the alarm signals! But worse than that, from then on, was harassed on a daily basis by several people at the dealership, telling me that 'I owed them money and should not expect to receive a title until I had settled my debt'. Unfortunately Ivan Alvarez was absent on vacation and I therefore contacted Volkswagen America, requesting them to investigate the matter which had become a puzzle to me.. . I was told after a week's investigation that 'there had been a mistake made by the accountant, causing the discrepancy'... Deel Volkswagen apparently believes that loyal clients should be held responsible for the mistakes committed by their incompetent accountant, and that they are justified to bribe their clients by withholding their title... I wonder what has happened to the integrity and honesty inherent in the name Volkswagen known to the entire world...! read more
